Went there yesterday (4-11-15). Ordered some ribs and wings. The waitress asked me what sauce I wanted and I told her I wanted the Dusted Mango Habarnero sauce. Ribs and wings came out and what??!! No sauce! There was some kind of dry rub on it. I asked the waitress if the so called sauce is really just a rub (Did not matched pictures on menu) and she said, "yes". my GF and I just looked at each and like, "WTF?" Were not the type to make things hard at restaurants, so we just finished the food as they were brought out to us. Have only been to this restaurant once before like 3-4 yrs ago, but never ordered anything with a sauce, so we figured since the waitress confirmed the rub was their sauce, we just kind of left it at that. I highly doubt the rub was the sauce and even with that doubt, I didnt want to ask the waitress for a side of sauce because what "if" the rub was indeed their so called "sauce". Didnt want to look stupid.. BUT found out later from research and friends that I shouldve gotten a sauce in a liquid form such as buffalo wild wing sauce. 1. Either the waitress was incompetent/dumb and didnt know what the actual sauce was like 2. Waitress completely forgot to let the cooks know the kind of sauce I wanted so they assumed no sauce. 3. The cooks were incompetent/dumb and forgot to put sauce on my food. **Shouldve went to the Buffalo wild wings across the parking lot instead..arrgg. One rule of thumb I should have followed: If youre used to eating a certain type of food at a particular restaurant and you liked it there, just go there. I wanted ribs and wings and since quaker steak and lube had the same stuff, I decided to try it out figuring it cant be that different from Buffalo Wild Wings. FAILED!

After a night of terrible service at the Milwaukee WI location of Quaker steak and lube I have decided to never eat there again. The server messed up on our drinks to start with. Our appetizers took a healthy 20 minutes to come out. To end the night the server simply dropped off a recient, didnt give anything to put the money or card in and made NO indication he would be returning. We go to the front to try to pay there and than the lady tells us we need to pay with our server and walks away. We stand there waiting for 5 minutes before she returns with the server. We find the manager on duty to make a complaint and he tells us he sees nothing wrong with the situation after I explain it to him. He than says if there was any issue we should have said something when he stopped by our table. He NEVER stopped by our table even to say hi. He argued he did for a couple sentences than finally admitted he didnt. After having to argue with a manager about whether or not he said hi to us, cuz apparently his customers arent memorable enough. Im not upset about the service, I have had worse. Its when manager argues with us and tries to tell us we dont even know what we are talking about. Good food but their management doesnt care about their customers

I ordered "PICK UR CHEESEBURGER" which I specified Medium Well and/or cooked through. My burger which I made the mistake of biting into was completely raw in the "entire" burger. The outside was seared and that was it. I sent it back and another one arrived completely "raw" again inside. Our happy server suggested I might try something else which was a good plug for you on her part but really is wrong as I wanted a Hamburger. I ordered a THUNDERBIRD STEAK Medium Well/cooked through and the manager arrived with it done properly. The only reason I did this was my girlfriend was unhappy this date was her idea which failed and to pursue my original order would have not helped my date. So we left happy in the knowledge we did not get charged for Two Raw burgers on the bill. You failed Twice In One Order. I should not have needed to order something else as I wanted the burger you can "not " prepare. Could have comped the dinner for the trouble but "not."

Many problems with sevice. Manager just shrugged when my son brought the up the problems: server brought appetizers, we had to ask for plates and napkins, the syrup ran out on lemonade and drink was served that way, waitress was not around so son went to bar to get replacement and bar tender told him to tell the waitress to fix the machine, its my daughters Birthday and she ordered a Lube Tube and because cannot drink beer and asked for Angry Orchard and there was no mention of an upcharge. The manager didnt apologize for the service issues, he became derogatory with my son. My son simply wanted an apology, manager told him to leave and not come back. My daughter called an spoke to assistant general manager who listened to our concerns over the service issues. The food is good, if it werent for the issues, the rating would have been better.

Stay away from ‘New specialty drinks.’ I attempted a new drink on the menu that they apparently came up with themselves. One sip revealed a nasty bitter taste. And no, it didn’t taste this way because of alcohol/because it was too strong. It was something else they put in the drink. I informed the waitress the drink tasted bad and no one at the table was willing to drink it. I asked for just a rum and coke. Most places would take the drink away and replace it for you if this happened. Not this place. They charged me full price for the specialty drink that I took one sip of as well as full price for my new drink. I was suppose to be able to keep the glass of the specialty drink (but not the rum and coke glass). After she took the specialty drink away and charged me full price, I never saw the glass again.

Ok this is the last place Id expect to "shut" the doors for normal customers on Mothers day and have a Mothers day appointment-only buffet. We walked in hoping to just order normal food off the menu, not expecting any weird mothers day garbage and they told us the ONLY place we could sit was either at the bar or outside, which is unacceptable! We are not sitting outside with the numerous bees flying around and we had a person who has a disability in our group so sitting at the bar would be impossible for us. We walked out and dont intend to return. Like I said this is the LAST place Id ever expect to pull something like this... who takes their mom to Quaker Stake & Lube for mothers day? Well unless youre a back country hillbilly type... NO ONE! What a dumb idea on their part.

Good food. Good service. We initially sat at an outside table out in the open, until some others came and sat at the table next to us WITH THEIR DOG! Im sorry folks but if its not a service animal your pets do not belong in a restaurant.... inside or outside, theres still food around. And remember You love your dog, me nor the 20 other people eating do not! We got up and moved and refused to share the dining area with their dog. The staff was more than accommodating and very apologetic, but it certainly wasnt their fault. Later the Manager even came over to personally apologize saying he hoped to get the company to post a no pets allowed sign, inside or out, if not service animals.
