Hands down the worst breaded cod fish fry I have ever had. There were four pieces of fish that were the size and shape of small fish sticks. The fish was dry and rubbery. Not sure how they can charge $13 for this meal. We went with a party of 8 and 3 of us ordered the fish fry. All of us were completely disappointed with the fish. Everyone that ordered a salad thought it was a complete joke as well. The salad consisted of one small slice of tomato, onions, and lettuce. This place is obviously trying to cut costs. They no longer serve the waffle fries which is a favorite amongst many. I have heard good things about this place and several people in our party have eaten here in the past and said it was great. Now everyone says they will never go back again. Very sad.

Stopped here for the first time (and I live just a few miles away). Really cozy atmosphere. Was about 6 or 7 pm, and not too busy. We ordered the appetizer platter and ham & cheese sandwich. The food was really good & crispy. Except the fries. The fries were soggy. I deducted a star because of the service. They didnt notice us when we walked in, and the waitress we had (1 of 2 waitresses working), seemed too busy for us. Or just more focused on the larger group across from us. Either way, it was a little off putting. And it took a while to get our food especially since we only ordered appetizers and a ham & cheese sandwich. Ill probably go back and give it another try.

Food was good! Mahogany was a good server and helped us in the end. A gratuity was added to our bill ( there were only 2 of us) and we were told it was because we used Groupon even though I was told after I used the Groupon that gratuity and alcohol were not included! I have server for many years and never heard of adding a gratuity for a party less then 6. Even thought alcohol was not included in the Groupon we had to argue to get our drinks at their daily special rate. Last bit of advise is bring a jacket its cold in there!

Went for Thanksgiving, but I have been there at other times. The dinner was all homemade and wonderful! Turkey, dressing, real mashed potatoes and gravy with Cranberry sauce. My sister loved the onion soup. We loved the artichoke spinach dip and homemade pitas so much we took another 2 orders for home. The sandwiches are very good and generous. Ive always loved the windows and woodwork on the interior. Very relaxing and the service was awesome! Thank you for making our Thanksgiving a memorable one!

The food is amazing. I love the Sriracha honey chicken wings. The burgers taste like they came off the grill. The French onion soup and pizza are both excellent. Their drinks are poured well. I love the old historic feel of the place. Unfortunately, they lost a star for the really rude wait staff. I have actually walked out on the heavyset daytime bartender twice. Seems all the regular staff are gone now and they are missed. Please hire servers that actually like people.

My family stopped in Milwaukee for the night on a roadtrip from Michigan to Tennessee and picked On the Clock basically on a whim. The staff was really friendly and our food was great. They treated my moms dietary needs seriously and helped her navigate the menu. My brother had the French Onion soup and my dad had the Brrrrroasted Chicken (thats not a typo) both were delicious. My only regret is that I didnt get to have any of their famous Mac and Cheese.

We havent visited this place since it was renamed from Roberts a few years ago. Roberts didnt impress me much, as the food was unexciting and it really was more of a bar that served food. On the Clock is a much better place to eat. The food was very good, much better than expected. The Big Guy burger was done just right, and the sauce has a fantastic mustard flavor to it. The kids loved the Classic Mac and Cheese, so overall, highly recommended.

Waitress was very rude and rolled her eyes multiple times. Decided to try the wings. Mediocre at best. French fries were soggy and tasted of old oil. $15 Sunday wing special not a good deal. Came with another couple, waitress was too lazy to offer to split the check. I was hoping for a new favorite close to home but got this instead. Missed opportunity.

We are from out of town and found this place on google places. It was an awesome welcoming experience to Milwaukee. Our service was great and on Wednesday nights they played bingo which was a lot of fun. The food and drinks were great! Our waitress saw our ids and gave us 10% off for being a hotel guest. Aweomse experience will visit again!

I really enjoyed this restaurant! The prices are very reasonable and the building was small but nice. Waitress was friendly and great about checking up on us to make sure everything was good etc. I tried some of the wings, soup, pretzel loaf and homemade macaroni. All of it was delicious and the portions were good sized as well!

Bar tender No very concerned about bar people more concerned about tables .. Bar tenders should take card of the bar. Many people waiting on drinks at bar while bartender deals with tables..Nice place but till they get a bartender that takes care of the bar not interested in going back. AND SHE IS AS FRIENDLY AS A STUMP..

Really nice place. Good burgers. Not a fan of the Nachos. usually the service is right on spot but last time we were in, it took 15 minutes to take our order and the food took a half hour to come out. Wasnt really a busy night either, just a typical Tuesday. Other than that Id recommend giving it a try.

I am giving this a 2 star for repeatedly rude service. The food is 6 stars if you can stomach the rude waitstaff while eating your delicious meal. If the waitstaff wasnt completely rude Id come here a lot more. This is unacceptable when were 1 out of 3 tables in the whole place.

Always down for a good happy hour after work. 3.50 mixers and 0.50 wings on Wednesdays. Co worker gets tap beer I believe is 2.50 b1g1. Love that I can order wings all flats. Great Bartender! This was our 4th time back and the bartender already had our drinks out without asking.

The decor is nice. It reminds me of an English pub from London, minus the tvs. They advertise $5.50 pitchers of domestic beer, then all the domestics are out of service. The mix drinks are mixed weak. There are plenty of other bars in Milwaukee.

The Irish Nachos were amazing and big enough to serve 4, the White Pizza was a delicious and unique experience, and the Baked French Onion Soup was among the best my wife and I have ever had. The service and decor were outstanding.

Nice atmosphere, very welcoming and friendly staff. Very tasty food. Wed definitely visit again. We tried the twisted cheese sticks, pulled pork sandwich, cheeseburger, prime rib sandwich. All were excellent.

One small 2/3 full cup of tartar sauce for 4 pieces of fish? Got all u can eat fish and waited for over 30 minutes for 2nd refill of 3 pieces. Gave up waiting and asked for bill. Still charged full price.
