They forgot the rice for our delivery order and when I called to resolve the issue I was interrogated instead of being helped. We always order from here. Its not great Chinese food, but its good delivery. So on this occasion the food was delivered and then I noticed there was no rice container so I gave them a call. They seemed very confused when I called and had me double check the bag. Which, duh, Im pretty sure I can see if there is a rice container in a small brown paper bag. Its not that difficult. I double checked. Still no rice. Then I was put on hold for a moment. The young girl came back and asked if I really wanted rice this time. Ummmm, yes. Its sort of a main part of Chinese food. I was also asked where we were located. I told them just up the road form their restaurant. Maybe a mile. Again Im put on hold. She comes back and says the quickest they could get rice to us is a hour. Nope. What I would hope for is that they would say that they would run some right over OR at least discount my purchase or email me a coupon or something, but instead I got to pay for something I didnt receive and then use my own rice at home to make up for the rice that we did not receive with our meal. Disappointing all around. Customer service is key and in this case, the one time something went wrong here. I feel they showed their true weakness in making the customer happy. Ill try the other Chinese place across the street next time, Great China.

The place we usually order from is closed on Tuesdays for some weird reason, so we thought wed try China Wok. The General Tsos was fantastic - nice sized pieces of chicken, the sauce was spot on- spicy not ketcup-y; broccoli with hot garlic sauce was great - broccoli no mushy, mostly broccoli instead of green peppers like some places, and the sauce was actually spicy!; fried rice was good too - not the bright yellow kind, actual pan fried rice could have used more vegetables, it was free with our order so no big deal. The only disappointment was the egg drop soup. It was very thick and just salty with no flavor. Delivery speed was ok - under an hour, which I mean really, to cook the food for you and drive it to you, is completely reasonable. Prices seemed comparable to other Chinese delivery restaurants.

I missed their call by 2 two minutes (for delivery), and they did not ring the doorbell, knock or try any other method of delivering the food before leaving. I had to call back the number two times before I could get a hold of the guy, who told me that no one was home (there were, in fact THREE people home, if he had knocked, someone would have answered) and that we would have to "reschedule a time when someone was home." Cant speak to the quality of the food (Im still waiting for him to return), but I wont be ordering delivery from them again.

Dissapointed, Father-Daughter date involved Chinese take-out and this was the most convenient location. My daughter had sesame chicken, I had Orange. One of my first bites had a an orange peel in the food. Figuring it was a one time thing I set it aside, and a couple bites later, I bit into MORE orange peel. I looked closer it was black, like it had been sitting out for a while. Disgusted I disposed of it, and had a bite of my daughters meal but the piece was all gristle.

Let down. I ordered 2 large entrees and only received one small container of rice, the General Tso chicken hardly had any sauce on it and the soda was warm. The delivery took over an hour to arrive and the bag was ripping as they handed it to me which almost caused me to drop the whole thing. Instead of helping me get a good grip on the bag, the delivery driver just watched me struggle and I had to set it on the ground. Not impressive. I wont be ordering from them again.

Love this place and its so close we never get delivery and just walk over(except once when I took both sets of keys to work and my bf was trapped in the apartment, opps). Its always hot and just what we ordered,and although their fried sweet bun just appears to be Pillsbury biscuits deep fried and coated with sugar they are amazing(and only $3!)!

My meal had a beautiufl glowing color of radioactive pink. This shade of pink you dont see very often with food, I was hungry so I ate it. Taste really wasnt too bad, however it was kinda slimy, like it had been premade before and they just nuked it. I wish we had some decent Chinese Resturant in Madison, I would totally pay extra for good food.

Twice ordering in a month, my order clearly exceeded $10 and ordering online you select free egg roll. Twice they failed to include it. This is dishonest. Once would be a mistake--twice a pattern. They will not get any more of my business. Too bad--the food is good, but when you dont do what you say, I will take my weekly business elsewhere.

Classic, American-style Chinese food, but significantly better than most. The sauce covered chicken dishes have a great crunch. The jiaozi (dumplings) are as good as youll find anywhere, fried or steamed. This isnt a place for fine cuisine, but the food is delicious.

This app is crap and so is this restaurant. My order was all wrong plus i was missing an order. I called and the woman refused correct my order or refund my money for the midtakes. I will NEVER order from this establishment again nor should you.

Food quality has gone down over the last year. Fair prices and fine service, but just not worth it when compared to other nearby options. Really wanted to stick with this place, but after several bad experiences I cant recommend it.

I hate to have to do this, but I feel I am left with no choice. The quality has been decreasing. Meat and vegetables should not be slimy or gooey. I am disappointed.
