Probably the best place for ice cream in downtown White Bear Lake. This old-fashioned, outdoor ice cream stand is excellent and very popular. It is accessible from two parking lots, a smaller parking lot behind the ice cream stand on 4th street and a larger parking lot right off of Hwy 61 which is accessible from both 2nd Street and 4th Street (across from Pezzos). The ice cream is soft serve, so there is generally vanilla, chocolate and a flavor of the day available, but the menu options and things they can do with those flavors is amazing. My favorites include their "Crunchie Cremes" and their "crunch-dipped" cones. They have non-dairy options available as well! They also offer a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs and brats which I have heard are also excellent, but Ive only ever been there for ice cream. They are very popular, so depending on the time of day and the weather, you might expect to wait in line a bit to place your order. Once you order, though, the service is very quick!

If you live in White Bear Lake you know what Cup and Cone is. Despite the long lines this place is a must-see spot if you have never been to White Bear Lake. Their ice cream and food is hands down one of the best stop spots to try. With the ice cream and food you cannot go wrong by picking something from the menu. Everyone from White Bear Lake loves this area and this place is a definite spot to to try. Anyone who dares to give this place less than five stars is most likely a terrorist or has dead taste buds. If youre out on a first date definitely bring your significant other to the spot Im sure theyll love it. This place will never go away.

Another downtown favorite-- you have to go to Cup & Cone when you visit White Bear Lake. Nothing too unique about soft serve, but theirs is just a touch more creamy than normal. In addition to the softserve, they have specials during the summer like "apple pie sundae" which is INSANELY delicious. I cannot wait for it to come back. I do not care for the chicken salad (it is not edible in my opinion), but the hotdogs are juicy and loved by kids of all ages. I only wish they were open year round...we would wait in line even in the snow.

This local shop has a long tradition of being the go to shop. Inexpensive and really good quantities. It is softserve, dont expect ice cream, do expect rotating flavors that are usually very good, along with your standards. Along with a large variety of toppings. Be aware that if you go in peak season you may wait but the line goes quickly. My personal favorite is a malt with chocolate and peanut butter, because why not.

A classic ice cream drive in like experience...without the drive in. Usually is a pretty big line, but always worth it. They have a couple of flavors of the day and prices are pretty reasonable. Only reason its 4 stars is they typically have a ton of bees/hornets around. Wish they would try to do something about them. Otherwise, great place.

My wife has always loved this place since she grew up in the area. I love their turkey subs, but I am lactose intolerant so ice cream is a no no... Or so I thought! Cup and Cone now offers a couple tasty lactose free options. I had salted caramel in a waffle cone - incredible! My wife, who is lactose tolerant, said it tasted like legit ice cream.

Wonderful cozy location & nice staff. The hoagie sandwich was decent. Chocolate malt was unappealing & just wasnt very good. It had that cheap Hershey chocolate sauce-type flavor (which Im not into) so thats disappointing given the cost. Overall prices are moderate-high for quality you get in return.

Cup and Cone is a must when visiting WBL. It hasnt changed since I was a kid going there 20 years ago and thats a good thing. Ice cream is good, prices are great, and even if theres a line it moves pretty fast and is well worth the wait. A $3.00 cup of ice cream here would be $5-6.00 elsewhere.

This is my FAVORITE ice cream shop! I love the flavors of the day and havent found one that I dont like. The sizes are a bit large and the small size is more than enough for me. The lines get very long, especially when there are events downtown, but its well worth the wait!

Best local subs! Not a franchise. Get what you want, how you want it. Good quality and Yummy! Always aims to please. Will take phone in orders, & even deliver. Does a good job of getting group orders correct. Always busy but still fast, friendly, personal & accurate.

Great atmosphere and excellent ice cream! Its uncommon to see this place with a long line, but its well worth the wait and very well priced! If youre in White Bear Lake during the late spring time to early fall time you have to stop by Cup and Cone!

What an awesome little place! Good ice cream! The younger kids that work in the stand are extremely friendly and seem like a really good group of kids. Do not be discouraged by the long lines. Theres long lines at this place for a good reason.

Every single time I visit Cup and Cone, I am greeted by a friendly staff member. The flavors are fantastic and the value for amount paid is incredible. It may be a small shop, but it is such a large part of my summer (and spring and fall too).

Great ice cream. Always friendly service. The subs and hoagies are always great(very fresh). The potato salad is pretty tasty too. The only complaint I have is the line gets pretty long, but is well worth it.

Great little local ice cream stand and their hoagies are really good too. Lots of parking and other things to do in the area. Downtown White Bear is a real gem and Cup and Cone just adds to the experience.

Im tempted to lower rating because lines get pretty long, but, really it is well worth the wait. Iconic, subs, shakes, malts, sundaes, generous, great ingredients, oh well, Ill just stand in line...

This is some of the best soft serve ice cream ever. I have relatives that live around White Bear Lake, and I always try to finagle a trip to Cup and Cone when I visit. Love this place!

Iconic ice cream shop and popular gathering spot of teenagers and families. Although the line can be long, the service is usually very fast. Visit this spot on a warm summer evening.

Who doesnt love cup n cone? Any flavor of the crunchi-creme is good. There is typically a line, but its worth the wait. Also, its dirt cheap compared to the chain ice cream places.

Affordable, and best of all they offer their specialty - a twist cone with vanilla and their flavor of the day. A popular place all summer long!

Tried the Pineapple Dole Whip, tastes just like the kind I got in Hawaii so many years ago. Love coming to this place, cant beat their flavors.
