Food is great but customer service is lacking and the over all cleanliness of the restaurant is not very good. Cleanliness: during the summertime when me and my wife are eating at the restaurant we noticed flies flying around our table and bothering us. Its very frustrating and a little disconcerting to have flies bothering you while youre trying to eat. It makes you wonder what the back of the kitchen may look like. Customer service experience: One time I called an hour in advance to order my food and pick it up at a certain time. I confirmed with the person on the phone that I need to pick it up at a specific time but when I arrived the food was not ready. Then had to wait 35 to 40 minutes for my food which means they didnt even start to prepare it until I was actually in the store. I have had other times where was not treated very nicely or professionally over the phone or in person. With that being said, overall I do enjoy the food in me and my wife is gone here many times. I typically get the torta and my wife always orders the bistec a la mexicana and I dont think we have had bad food yet. The Horchata is also very good and refreshing. Overall, if youre willing to work with the customer service and get past the not so great cleanliness of the business the food is decent and the prices are OK.

The food is usually very delicious, and if my review were based on that alone, Id probably give it five stars. As it is, I think two stars might be generous. I have ordered from here well over a dozen times, and I have never received my food in less than 90 minutes. I always liked the food, so I overlooked this detail. I also overlooked the fact that they often forgot part of my order- which has included drinks, chips, and the time I received an entirely different meal from what I ordered. Most recently however, I placed an order, and after two hours I called to see where my food was, but was told they never received an order from me. Of course, my bank account showed that I paid for an order, so I asked about that. I was told that Ill need to come in when the manager is in (usually after 6pm) to get refunded that money. The food is (usually) delicious, but its just not worth it. Perhaps you may have better luck going in rather than ordering delivery.

This is the worst place Ive ever been to. I got really cold food and they ignored and allergy that I made them aware of upon ordering. Also hair in food. I called the waitress over to show her the hair in my food and my son stuck his finger in sour cream and the waitress snatched my son by the arm. He started screaming with tears flowing down his cheeks. My attention went directly to my child. Once it registered what just happened I approached the ***** in her face telling her dont you ever touch my son. Its not right for you to touch my son let alone discipline him! The situation began to escalate so I went to the parking lot and called the police. They would not do nothing to her. Nothing she did was illegal? Theres something wrong here. The officer did not handle this call correctly. Me and my childs father have been to the police station dealing with lieutenants. I dont recommend that place at all!!!!!!

food is great. service is horrible. I have called because i could not order online and explained to them it would not let me order with my card and have it delivered to a friends house. the response i got was "you have to pay cash if you are ordering over the phone or unless your friend wants to buy" I have tried to order twice online and upset that you cannot order food online with your debit card unless you are having it delivered to where your card is registered for billing. for example you cannot have food delivered to your job or a family members house if you do not have your card registered to your job or family members house as the billing address. Lots of people order food online especially while at work. I work for a car dealership and we do a lot of ordering out. guess we wont be using los cantaritos to feed our employees.

Below average rating for the following reasons: we ordered the seafood soup which took 30 mins to bring out. The only other thing we ordered was a Diet Coke. When brought a refill I was brought a regular coke. We asked for flour tortillas and were brought corn. Our first order was for the green pork plate. After the order was placed in the kitchen for ten minutes, the waitress came back to the table to inform us that they ran out of pork. Overall very unprofessional. The waitresses had no idea what was going on in the kitchen which shows lack of communication. Attention to detail is highly lacking as is evident from the soda and tortilla mix up. The food quality was decent, but not worth putting up with horrible service for. I would not recommend this place.

WORST service ever. Terrible. WILL NOT DELIVER IN A TIMLEY MATTER. EVER. Im talking TWO HOURS PLUS. This is typical for them. Been trying for good service here for two years! Tonight it was late, they are the only mexican place open and I really wanted some Carne Asada. And now Im writing this ANGRY AF after i placed an order on their online site at 9pm. credit card charged, no delivery by 11. They close at 11. So I call and no one answers at all for 10 minutes. Keep calling. Finally an answer and guess what? Ooops sorry, didnt get your order. Delivery closes at 10 so I cant help you. WTF. SMDH this ridiculous. Not how a restaurant should be operated. STAY AWAY. los compadres is where you should go.

Ordered delivery, it took 1 hour and 40 minutes. I live 2 miles away. The food was cold and the order was incorrect. Also it was soaked in grease. When I called to complain the female who answered said the manager was doing deliveries and hung up on me. When I called back there was no answer. So I drove there and when I walked in (it was pretty obvious I was an unhappy customer returning food) they all sort of scattered until I loudly announced I wasnt leaving without being given attended to. I was refunded my money but no apologies. Never again, awful experience.

By far the best authentic Mexican food in Kenosha. Ive been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. I discovered them in 2010 when a coworker brought an order of guacamole and chips back to work for lunch and shared some with me. I was sold right then and there. The flavors were vibrant, the spices hot, and the ingredients super fresh. I love everything on their menu and would recommend any of their dishes. My favorite by far, however, is the Bistec a la Tampiqueña. Skirt steak, nopalitos and onions, beans, rice, and a cheese enchilada. Yum!

Rude! girl hung up on me.. "too busy" no apology. then ordered online hope & i get what i ordered. not the first time ive had issues with trying to pay by credit card. now they no longer accepts credit cards over phone must order online & pray you get what you ordered. 1 & 1/2 hour wait and less than 2 mile radius. have ordered chicken enchiladas in past.. dry, dry, dry.. we shall see.. otherwise i recommend la hacienda or tacos el rey but no delivery.. Delivery is only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 food is tolerable not authentic
