I went with family of 6 and noticed the prices has been raised. We sat and waited for about 10 minutes to be served. But when food arrived I noticed immediately that the portions where tremendously smaller compared with with my previous visit. I stood up and asked why portions where so small for the price I paid. And Rose who claimed to be the owner answered this: "I fired my previous cooks because they served more food on the plate" she also responded this "$80.00 dollars I paid was a rasonable price for my family" then, I responded this " Ill be glad to pay $80.00 or a resonable price for a more decent place" she also said that she paid $6.50 per pound for Arachera meat. Which assumed was expensive for her. Meat on my plate was chewy. I was shocked the way Owner responded to my questions. My mom stood up to go to the rest room and found floor flooded with water. She asked for a paper towel and server offered her toilet paper. Totally bad experience in addition to restaurant condition. Not a place to go back ever. I do not recommend this place not even to a bad friend! Restaurant is located in Desplaines on River Rd. and Rand Road.

I dont do reviews often but cant past the opportunity to let people like me know few observations I made when I was there today waiting for my tacos. Before anything they charge me $3 dollars per taco but according to the sing on the left top front side they had $2.75 per taco, the tortillas where heat on the microwave, so the taste was not that good, they used yellow tortillas only and a standard taco is supposed to be served on regular white tortillas, salsa Verde made with tomatillo probably boil, they are fast serving but the food is not worth the almost $ 20 I spend.

Pretty pricey for what it is. And what it is is middle of the road mexican food. Its not bad. Its not great. Its mediocre mexican food. Which is fine with me. But not for this price. 9.50 for a burrito is a bit much. And almost any ingredient added is an extra charge. And you dont get alot of food for that price too. Theres soooo many other mexican places with better food and more of it with a lower price point. Skip this place a travel 3 mins in any direction for something else.

You want to eat some authentic Mexican food? Do NOT dine here, unless you want to get priced over the top for small portions of a carne asada dish that I was previously served as if the food was made of some scarce animal. Youre better off going to a quality restaurant for the same price or even a Chipotle for that matter. Feel free to make your choice but just know that this place is definitely not worth your money.

Im going to tell you what, for everything Las Asadas lacks in curb appeal, it makes up for in flavor. The steak that they cook at this place is fantastic and this is my favorite burrito in the area. The service is relatively quick, the food is fresh, and did I mention how good the steak is? Treat yourself to a Super Steak Burrito, you deserve it :)

I live down the street and have been to the place twice( my boyfriends idea). I hoped the second time I went would be better but..... Chicken was dry.Place is dirty. People are very unfriendly. I found black charcoal in my tacos and after telling the cook about it.... he responded with " its ohk, it is only a bone". and handed it back to me!!!!!!!

The service stunk. However, Ill probably go back because the food was tasty. They were making fun of me in Spanish, not knowing that I speak Spanish. Lol!!! They made my food in about 15 seconds. Thank goodness the meat was marinated quite well and that there was fresh cilantro and onions to throw on it.

Tasteless, cheap steak meat, tortillas fall apart. Salsa was weak, they tried making it look appealing by adding too much of the char from the peppers skin which clogged up the spout of the bottle when trying to apply. Yes it is authentic but the food is bland. Waste of money in my opinion not worth it.

The worst place ever I will never go back. $3 dollar tacos with the tortilla heated in the microwave the meat was not even put on the grill. I had the steak tacos with the meat beeing super chewy like bubble gum no way. Me beeing Mexican I was disappointed and disgusted the way the food was made.

At least a 1/4 pound chunk of fat wasnt cut off the meat in my burrito, my father didnt enjoy his tacos either. did not agree with my stomach.. I understand this is desplaines but way to over priced for something with out beams and rice on the side.

Im sorry for all those people that been ripoff by this place but please if you go there dont stay quite let them know what u think ...we as customers deserve better service and compare prices,they way to high for what they offer...terrible!!!

Yes definitely love this place their food is always on point meaning its good!! Their chicken tortas are fantastic &horchata good too. If you havent been here i definitely recommend you to try it. All smiles this way

Super burritos...$10.35..kinda pricey since it was mostly rice and beans and steak was overcooked.next joint I go to will be just steak burritos and we will see how thin and small it is..lol
