I rate 5 stars for our waitress Antonia. 5 stars for decor and ambiance. 5 stars for cleanliness. 2.5/3 stars for the seafood & steak. 5 stars for the $25 coupon they emailed me for my birthday and the free dessert. My son had the chicken penne pasta, and it was flavorful and delicious. He devoured most of it. That was 5 stars for him. He said it was so delicious. I got the 4oz filet mignon w/crab cake, asparagus & lobster mac n cheese for my sides and creme brulee for dessert. I wish there was more flavor to my steak. It was cooked perfectly and the texture was good, but the flavors didnt come through. I just didnt get that nice meaty taste and couldnt taste the seasoning either which made it a rather bland filet mignon. The crab cake was made from the meat on the body and baked. It was nice and light and you could really taste the flavor of the sweet crab meat. The creme brulee was overcooked and I can only compare the texture to flan, but the presentation was lovely and it was free. =D My best friend ordered the 6oz filet mignon & 8 oz lobster tail with green beans and brussel sprouts w/pancetta or was it proscuitto. I got 4 oz of the lobster tail, but to our disappointment, there was no flavor in the lobster tail. If you boil a lobster tail that doesnt have flavor anyway, you are left with an overcooked flavorless lobster tail! Huge disappointment for the price. It should have been baked to preserve whatever flavor there was. On the other hand, we thought the brussel sprouts were the best ever! Deliciously and perfectly cooked. Never knew they could taste so good. Thank you Devon for a nice birthday gift! I had a wonderful night w/my son & best friend. =)

We had a reservation but had to wait at least 35 mins to be seated. (Having to wait for that long defeated the whole purpose of having a "reservation"). When we finally got seated, it took over 1.5 hours to get our main course. When we finally got our food, my potatoes were cold (like, cold as it literally sitting out in the open while it took the 1.5 hours for my steak to cook), my husbands brussel sprouts had a piece of long hair that was entangled all within his side of brussel sprouts. It was absolutely disgusting. One of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. It was both of our first time there and we will not be returning to this specific place or ever going back to a Devon Seafood and Steak again. The manager (Im assuming) and the waitress tried to make up for our horrible dining experience by coming over to apologize, buying our drinks for us, giving us soup...and then ultimately not charging us anything at the end of the day. Their customer service itself was great but there was absolutely nothing that they could have done to turn the experience around once we found the piece of hair in the brussel sprouts. If we walked in at 7:49 PM to make our 8 PM reservation and didnt get served until 9:45 PM, they should have made sure everything, especially the main course, was on point and that there would be nothing to complain about. Overall, again, NEVER. GOING. BACK. HERE. AGAIN!

An evening out for three with wonderful food and excellent service was damaged by a strange man roaming the restaurant. When not moving about, sports coat clad Mr. Creepy would tower over our table and sway back and forth surveying his domain. Wandering like an autistic child returning from the restroom, he was constantly looking into the face of each customer in the hope of recognizing some one he knew. Possibly he was with the vegetable police and was checking to see that everyone was a member of the clean plate club. Too much attention can spoil an evening out. This was not a case of a headwaiter in a fine French restaurant overseeing his customers. It is an over dressed bus boy invading each diner as if he expected to be asked to join some old friend who never arrived.

The atmosphere is elegant and the food is great at this restaurant located outside of Bayshore Mall. The style of the food is lightly seasoned on all of the food which I enjoy because the flavor of the fish or meat itself comes through. They have an extensive wine list and a professional waitstaff that you can trust to pair the food with your drinks. The crab cake appetizer is excellent and actually made without breadcrumbs and baked not fried if you are looking for light fare. Otherwise everything I have tried there has been excellent and a little decadent. The restaurant is expensive if you plan to wine and dine, but is a fun place to go.

We went for the New Years day brunch1/1/17. By 1pm many of the food selections were running out or behind.0 It took a while for them to restock. We did not appreciate looking at empty pans. The kitchen was running behind the entire time. Must not be used to large crowds.Very poorly coordinated kitchen. The omlettes and waffels took too long as well. The poor server was apologetic so we gave her a nice gratuity. No need to punish her for the kitchens ineptitude! We expected a better experience for the price. A good restaurant should function well even with large crowds. Wont be back.

I was Highly disappointed in Devon. They screwed up my order 3 times while i was there. They completely forgot half of my order. My food was over cooked. And my waitress was offering things me things that were not even on the menu anymore. There was not a course that was not screwed up some how. The food looked like it was thrown on the plate. My bill was still 100 dollars, and if i am spending 100 dollars on food, i expect it to be at least right. Needless to say i will probably never step foot in that restaurant again. And ill never recommend it to anyone.

One of our favorite places when were in the mood for a higher end dinner. The restaurant itself is comfortable and inviting. Service is always very good. Theyve got an extensive wine list with options by the glass as well. The steaks and seafood are terrific, always properly prepared and very tasty. The biscuits with maple syrup and butter are nothing short of amazing. Whatever you do, dont skip dessert. The creme brule is out of this world, and honestly theres nothing on the list that I wouldnt recommend.

Devon is an amazing environment, even from the second you walk in, the decor is creative and stunning. The service was great, I couldnt have asked for better. I ordered the seared whitefish and it was very good, but I tried my friends grilled salmon and it was AMAZING! Oddly enough, I thought the lemonade was the best that I have ever had! Also for desert I had the chocolate lava cake, and aside from the great taste and texture, I particularly admired the elegant presentation.

Wife and I went to Devons on a summer weeknight and enjoyed their cool outdoor patio. We both had the filet, which was excellent. The crab cakes and asparagus were good. Mashed potatoes were very good. The restaurants interior is well done, and the service is excellent. Some metered street parking near the restaurant in Bayshore Town Center (as well as valet parking), but the better options are the free parking structures to the east and west.
