Went to have dinner this evening at this particular Red Lobster, I was by myself. The young lady asked me how many and I replied one. She then told me that it would be 1 hour wait for a table but I could get full service at the bar. I went to sit at the bar and the counter in several areas hadnt been cleaned. I found a clean space and began looking in a menu that had been left. There were 5 servers in the bar area. After sitting for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement I went back to the hostess station and explained that people who came after me had been seated and no one acknowledged me, offered me water or asked to take my order. Warren the manager asked me to go back to the bar and he would have someone help me. Nieka came over asked me what I would like. I ordered a coke and a double order of clam strips for an appetizer. She brought me my coke and I saw her put something in the computer which I assumed was my order. I called my boyfriend and was talking with him while I waited. I sat and waited for my food and for her to take my order for my entree. I watched her take other patrons orders and bring others their food. Another 30 minutes has passed without my food. I got up and asked a waitress that was passing by me for the manager. Warren came out and I advised that I still hadnt gotten my appetizer and my order for my entree hadnt been taken even after he asked me to give them another chance. In the midst of our conversation Nieka came up with the clam strips. I advised Warren and Nieka both that I had no desire to eat now. I came there trying to have a meal, I didnt eat all day at work and this treatment was unacceptable. Warren did offer to have Nieka box my clam strips at no charge. I said that was ok and its the priniciple of the whole thing. I was misinformed from the beginning and even though I was by myself the service was unacceptable and horrible. I may be a small, small fish in all the customers that this company services but Im a customer all the same and to be treated this way was totally wrong.

In my twoscore+ years of living, I believe this is the WORST restaurant I have ever had the pain of patronizing. First, the wait for a table was greater than an hour. But hey! no worries, come to the bar and be treated like crap by the barstaff who think it is a higher priority to wipe up the mess on the bar theyve been neglecting over simply giving you a drink menu! Then, when you order an appetizer because youre starving, they, and I quote verbatim, "completely forgot" your order. And then the tasteless "appetizer" arrives...on a plate of wilted lettuce! Finally we get to a table and the waitress sits down with us! Uh, this isnt Ed Debevics. But thats the least of the concerns. After having given us all of a minute to decide on our meals, she cops an attitude in response to our polite response of "Well need another minute". Oh ok, I, your paying customer have to wait an hour just to sit down yet you get an attitude when Im not done looking through the menu? Anyway. The waitress continues with her lethargic and dismissive service up to the very end until she brings the bill (which I had to ASK for even though I had already requested two "to-go" boxes for my wifes and my food!) The waitress doesnt even begin to be kind or friendly until she brings the bill, figuring now its time for her tip! I have compassion for folks who live off tips. I dont like punishing them because that is their direct pay. But despite conferring with online friends who together suggested I not give beyond 10%, I just couldnt bring myself to tip so little. So I give her 14%, truly a historical low for myself. But here is the WORST of the WHOLE story: I got FOOD POISONING FROM THE MEAL! Do you hear me? If you read nothing else Ive written here, read this: THEY GAVE ME FOOD POISONING. I think that says it all.

Dont even want to give a star.. Im handicap and walk w a cane we were seated at the farthest point in the back of the restaurant. Went for Lobsterfest.. Waitress name Dazhona H. I ordered the special drink in a glass you can take home w a lobster engraved on it (came in a regular 16 oz glass) he wanted coffee (he doesnt drink), she says we have no fresh coffee (not well make some) do you want something else. Then we order, my drink still hasnt come or his soda but he really wanted coffee. I order both of our dinners and I didnt know if he wanted a salad or not cause menu didnt state it.. The side was the green beans w mushrooms. The biscuits came, no plates for them.. Dinner shows up and theres no beans or melted butter for the lobster I had to ask for.. She said the beans were coming.. Well then we didnt see her till the check came and she brought the beans boxed up too.. Total Fail!!! Im sure everyone else got their beans with their dinner.. Last year no problem..Just opened the Special glass my drink Loberster feast Fizz shouldve came in just tonight 5/1/17, said shed get it from the bartender when we leave wasnt even Clean. It was a dirty glass someone else used, now my man is totally angry! He said if he doesnt get a full refund hes calling NBC investigates.. We were so disrespected and wont step foot in this establishment Again! He even gave her a tip which she certainly didnt deserve! I will be all over social media over this fail.. I took a pic of my dinner plate! Should be no. Stars..

Me and one guest arrived about 3:30 on a Monday holiday. The decor was nicely typical RLbstr. We were surprised to see so many cars in the lot this early. Despite the crowd, a tall lean neatly uniformed gentleman promptly greeted us with enthusiasm and told us we had the Kings booth. Terry, our server, arrived in less than a minute to introduce himself and was very attentive throughout the course. He was very sweet as he pleasantly navigated our desires to alter the standard menu selections. My wife is a clam connoisseur and stated the clams here were the best shes had in 2-3 yrs. I ordered her a VirStrwDq, which said was the best shes had in a long time. I tasted it and agreed. I ordered salmon New Orleans. Maybe it was our king booth, but the piece was so big my take home portion lasted me two more meals. It was very good, almost as good as the one at Pappadeauxs, (sorry I went there last week and that salmon was off the chain, even for Pappas) The food here today was noticeably better than two RL locations 30 min north of here. The staff were swift, professional, food came out so quickly. I was very pleased. My one complaint was the 1-stall mens restroom. Im so glad my post-surgical issues werent acting up this day. Restaurants this size need at least two mens stalls. Nevertheless, this RLbstr is 2 stars ahead of any other RL Ive attended in the last 5 yrs. The staff: cooks, greeters, our server win our award today.
