The sushi is delicious, but we had to wait more than an hour to get it, and those who ordered burgers at our table got their food in 20 minutes. The servers are incredibly rude (except the one that’s been there for years), the place smells and seems to be regularly understaffed. We overheard our server arguing with a customer at the next table, and after chatting with them, discovered they were having the same awful dining experience. In the midst of our meals, the servers insisted that we all move our tables to connect them and then abruptly started moving them, as we were not doing it quickly enough. In the past, we have enjoyed the place for the sushi, but it’s just not worth it anymore.

This is one quirky little spot. Poorly marked and painted like a neglected dive bar the inside does little to change that opinion. One thing that bugged me was the back half of the restraunt had chairs up on the tables like you sitting there might bother the staff. Slow service your thinking this is a mistake then you realize there is a sushi chef behind the bar. I had the sushi while my wife had the standard menu. Her fried shrimp and fries was good but obviously your standard bagged frozen food flash fried. I had the tuna poki and a California roll and it was absolutely delicious. Odd joint but if you dont feel like waiting for one of the busier restaraunts it will do.

Terrible service here yesterday. Ordered a bowl of chili that was so cold, it would not even melt the cheese. The waitress forgot to bring clam chowder out to our table. Then, she asked the manager to remove it from our ticket "because they didnt want it." She offered to bring it out after our meals had arrived and we were nearly done. Burgers were decent, though. Only one waitress there. It wasnt too busy, but she struggled to keep up with 4 tables. Thankfully, the manager came out to help her.

Love/hate relationship with coming here. Service: The servers are knowledgeable and typically on top of their service but the establishment seems regularly understaffed on busier shifts. The menu is an odd combination of so-so western food and really decent sushi. If you are in a hurry or going for a special event just be aware that you cannot assume that it will go in a timely or smooth manner.

The service here has horrendous. it took 40 min before someone came to my tabel. I then ordered a burger with avocado on it, both the bun and avocado were moldy. The waitress then continued to ask us if we were done, pressuring us out ( no one else was in the restaurant). I regret coming here.

We tried the sushi and the small sashimi plate. Even though the pieces were a little small, I appreciated the Escolar fish sashimi which was very delicious. It took a bit of time to make though.

Went in to eat about a week ago. Was seated, the place was hoppin but dieing fast. Not a single server to be found for 30 mins. I understand a rush, but there was no one else coming in

Bland atmosphere, adequate food. Good to have sushi on Vashon, and fun when theres live music, but not remarkable. Fish and chips are a good bet.
