We were told that the Ballard Smoke Shop is the place everyone ends up after theyve been thrown out of everywhere else, so naturally we thought that would be the perfect place to end our night. Another classic dive bar, with an ancient jukebox and a saucy gal named Linda behind the bar. If youve had one too many shell put a bowl of soup in front of you, and youd better eat it or else. The night we were in, a guy from the 90s grunge scene was buying everyone in the bar round after round of drinks, and one of the regulars was slipping the tongue to a younger patron...much to his dismay. This place was the tops.

Walked into this place 3 years ago and fell in love with the staff, ambiance, and food. Plus look at the fun things they do like travel back in time and honor customers with 1971 prices for their anniversary. This is a place that will be special to my heart and is the true essence of old Ballard! Going to bring my kiddos here one day:)

Best the toast I have had in ages. Omelet was tasty and right sized. Hash browns done the way we like them. Friendly server. Not busy when we were there early so fast service. Simple diner atmosphere. Clean and in good shape.

The place has a great atmosphere. Marsha is the best bartender in the world and always has a good conversation to enjoy. Bottled Ranier and White Russians are to die for here. Next to the Mecca, one of the best bars in town.

Delicious and cheap diner food! Even if it is your first time there staff will make you feel as though youve been coming for years. Also, I have never waited for more than 5 minutes to be seated. Even on Sunday at 10AM!

Great dive bar and cafe thats been a great spot for locals for many years. Be careful parking there now because you have to pay for street parking in Ballard ave. The breakfast burritos are awesome!
