After being gone for nearly 10 years, I decided to check out the new silver city(new to me anyways) I use to eat here all the time the last time I lived here, always had great atmosphere, prices and food. Well this time, the wait time was not to bad, but I decided to sit in bar. We didnt have to wait to long for drinks or to be acknowledged, however the waitress seemed very very rushed, almost like we were an inconvenience(she was nice dont get me wrong) just very much in a hurry. I ordered the cambazola(I think thats the name)flat bread as an appetizer(was very soggy and oily upon arrival) the main course was the $27 sirloin that tasted horrible! To begin with it was barely Luke warm, very plain, and grainy and lots of fat, no taste to it at all,(I could have got a better steak from the local store and grilled it better) I asked for fries(well done) and instead I got warm chunky mashed potatoes and green beans. The waitress came back and said"let me guess, well done fries is what you were going to say, correct"? I told her yes, (Well obviously), so instead of taking the plate back and starting fresh, she brought back a plate of fries, (which were hot) I did not touch the potatoes or beans, The other plate was street tacos, not the best. but not the worst. Im not one to complain especially after working a 15 hour day, I just wanted to get out of there and go home to sleep. 5 hours later, (back at home of course) Im in the bathroom sick! mind you the only thing I at on this day was an apple, banana, bagel and drank water. Im not very happy dropping $70 and having anything but a great experience. Would I recommend this place to anyone? years ago.. in a heart beat. Not so much now.

When Silver City first opened its doors back in the mid nineties, I witnessed the birth of an amazing restaurant and brewery. I was a regular and made SCRB my "Cheers" for many years. I left the Kitsap Peninsula in 2009 for Orange County and at that time thought I was saying goodbye to an old friend. Family and friends brought me back to Kitsap County just last October 2012. I had not been in contact with anyone at SCRB for over three years. When I made it back to Silverdale in November 2012, I could not wait to enjoy my favorite micro brew and Fire Cracker Wings from Silver City. Again, I had absolutely no contact with any of the staff, waiters or bar tenders at SCRB for over three years and to my surprise and amazement, when I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by name by three familiar faces...Christine, Bert and Brett. Before I could make my way to my table, I had my favorite beer, Ridgetop Red waiting for me! The service and food quality is superb with a very eclectic rotating fresh sheet. During my days as a traveling sales rep. (AKA - "Road Warrior"), I had the opportunity to visit some of the finest restaurant/brewpubs throughout the country including Chicago, Boston, Miami and Atlanta. I was in search of a restaurant that could rival SCRB and was unable to find anything that came close! By all means, next time you are in Silverdale or just passing through, take a moment, and stop by and dine with the awesome team at SCRB. You too will fall in love with this Kitsap Phenomenon... Prost! : ~ )

If youre looking for good food, take your money elsewhere please. The best thing about our dining experience was the wine; which isnt made in house, so that says something. The Atmosphere: Welcoming, clean and comfortable. The Food: Our calamari was flavorless, soggy/non-crispy and too thin cut. All rings (and some shrimp), no tentacles. The lemon aioli had dill in it making it more reminiscent or a tartar sauce. My steak was well done rather than medium well but it also tasted dry and the texture was strange (as if it had been in the freezer too long). The asparagus was bland and under-cooked as if only dipped in hot water for a moment before being served with no seasonings. The mashed potatoes were tolerable but nothing notable. My husband had Fish & Chips as wasnt as utterly disappointed as I was with my meal, but he didnt exactly enjoy his either. We didnt decide to complain about the main courses, as the manager already visited our table and discounted the calamari by half-off. Our bill was around $70 and we felt we could have ENJOYED a dinner at the nearby Applebees for half the price. Everything we ordered could have been made at home much much better! We arent much for beer, so I cant testify to the main attraction; it may be delightful. The food however was a total waste of money.

I want to preface this to say that before our experience last night, we have been very faithful patrons of Silver City and have always enjoyed the staff and food. Unfortunately, that was marred by the way my family was treated when we came to celebrate my brothers graduation. The hostess was extremely rude to us, how she has a job there is beyond me. She treated my father poorly when he inquired into our reservation, and then made a derogatory comment towards me when I complained about the wait time to her later (this was after an hour had passed, when we had been told wed be seated between 45-60 minutes). We sat for over an hour and a half without once being apologized too, offered a solution to being sat, or even told we could order so we would be able to still eat as a family before having to leave for graduation. We were only a party of ten, and we ended up walking out after waiting an hour and a half to be seated. The manager Brett did finally approach us as we were walking out to apologize, but the whole situation was handled VERY poorly. I will not be dining here or recommending this restaraunt to anyone for quite awhile. Super disappointing experience on what was supposed to be a good day.

My family and I went to the Silver City Brewery in Silverdale for my brothers and I birthday dinner. I was expecting a great experience and a fun time, but the decision to go was a huge mistake and honestly just ruined my birthday. My brother decided to order the Baby Back Ribs, but they tasted AWFUL. My brother had to get up and go to the bathroom, in which he puked in the toilet of the restaurant bathroom. My dad proceeded to eat the rest of the Ribs, and ended up puking like theres no tomorrow. He was not able to sleep due to how much he was puking, and he had to go to Urgent Care the following morning. He had five IV bags, and he had gotten food poisoning. My brother ended up puking a second time at home followed by a stomach ache that prevented him from eating too much. All in all, the experience got my dad severe food poisoning, and my brother not-so-severe food poisoning. We will never be going back there again. So much for a fabulous birthday dinner.

The food and the beer at Silver City Brewery is fantastic. Worth the drive! We live in Tacoma and my brother and his wife live in Port Angeles, and well often meet there as an almost-halfway point, so lots of fun family memories have been made there. The service is usually as spot on as the amazing food and atmosphere, dont get discouraged if the host staff seems dismissive or confused (as ours did last time we visited), your server will make up for it. I should also mention the fact that a few visits ago our host was so kind that, when I almost tripped on my crutches in the waiting area, he informed me he was also an EMT and would make sure I got in and out of the restaurant safely. :) We have always had good experiences there, and the place is large and loud enough that its not stressful to bring my 5-year-old, who hasnt yet completely mastered his indoor voice.
