Just had lunch there today. I would not recommend. First off, the prices are way too high. I ordered a combination plate with 2 chimichangas. It came on a huge plate, with a small splattering of rice and beans with 2 - 5" chimichangas, with a little bit of lettuce, sour cream and guacamole in the middle. This was $15, and only 75% of the plate was covered (i.e. nothing was touching the food next to it). Beans and rice are cheap, so either fill the plate or use smaller plates so customers dont feel cheated. Secondly, expect to have to wait and ask for everything. And when you do need something, nobody is around to ask for help. First off were seated and within 2 seconds we are asked for drink orders, nothing too wrong with that. Then the waitress disappears for 2 minutes and wants to take our orders. Having barely looked at the menu, we asked for a few more minutes. She so comes back a few minutes later and we place our orders. At which point one of us points out that we dont have drinks yet, and she says shell be right back with them. This whole time, as far as I can tell, were the only ones there, so its not like it was busy. While waiting we finish off the first batch of chips. . . still no drinks. We end up asking for our drinks again and for more chips and beans (I do like that they serve their chips with beans and salsa instead of just salsa). We finally get our drinks and more chips. But for some reason this time the beans are mostly water. We get our food a little while later, it took a little longer than it should have with an empty house, but not too bad. She warns us that the plates are hot, which wasnt an exaggeration. These things were scalding hot. So we wait another 15 minutes for them to cool. Someone asks for guacamole, thinking her dish came with some, when it apparently didnt. So the waitress brings her some, but doesnt inform her its $5 for a tiny bowl of it (less than 1/4 cup of guacamole). We finish eating, and have to wait some more for our check and ask for to go boxes. Once we finally get both, we go up front to pay, and the girl up front either didnt know how to split a check or had to get permission to do so. Which leads to more waiting for her to find someone to help her. . . .

I CAN NO LONGER IN GOOD FAITH SUPPOURT Los Jalapenos (In Camas, WA or even their Vancouver, WA location). I being a 29-year-old cis-gendered male called into order. They refused to take my name for my order, which is not the issue. She then refused to answer any questions I had and started saying “Huh?” every time I tried to say something and then she hung up on me. When I got to the location to get my order she very rudely greeted me when she figured out who I was. Then she started muttering to another employee in Spanish like they were gossiping and looking at me and giggling. Basic message she was spouting off is that I was a trans man and that I needed to learn to grow a penis if I wanted to be treated like a man. Then starts calling me a rude dog and how I was wasting their time and the companies time… she was not even dealing with me. Then when I paid and got to my car I called in and she answered. I told her that I understand Spanish (well parts of) due to working in customer service and she probably should not disrespect and speak rudely of customers when they are in the location. Also, they have no idea who speaks or understands Spanish. She then went into the “HUH?” again and handed me over to a guy and I told him what was going on and he gave me a fake canned apology and I stopped him midway and told him I work retail and I know exactly what he was doing. He basically started stammering then hung up on me. I called into the Vancouver location and spoke to the owner (Martin) and he was livid about the situation. He gave me a gift card that I gave to a family member since I can no longer in good faith support this company and the way they speak about their guests in front of them without a care or regard to who can understand them.

Went here as a date night and only because I was craving good Chili Colorado and read some decent reviews of this place. Service was prompt but the chips were over cooked and it was like pulling teeth just to get more than 2 teaspoons of salsa in front of you at once. Service was great but the food was terrible. The Colorado came out and was the nastiest Colorado I have had to date, it is supposed to be in a red sauce, the description even says it "beef in a delicious red sauce"... well it was brown and the flavor was way off. I would have rather spend my money at taco bell to be truthful.

I love the chips and salsa. I love the quick service. I love the retried beans they serve with the chips (and so do my kids). I love the family feel. The prices are reasonable. The fried chip with berry sauce and whipped cream at the end thats included in the meal is a nice touch. Ive been eating here for years. If you want a reasonably priced, family-friendly restaurant, this is the place. Oh, and the food is good too. Its definitely not the fanciest place, but its really, really comfortable and pleasant.

Service was excellent. Four stars for service and three stars for the meal. Food was prepared and brought to the table expeditiously, although the flavor was bland. We ordered the enchiladas and would have preferred a more flavorful sauce. To complete our meal, we tried the fried ice cream. Plain vanilla ice cream with fried tortilla pieces in a tortilla shell. It was topped with whipped cream and strawberry sauce. It too was okay. Will give them another chance.

These guys did their best to accomodate me and in turn made my night! They may not know what gluten is but they were more helpful than some of the more well -known places that I have been. They even made the dessert with a corn tortilla chip instead of a flour one. For having celiac disease, they definitely made my night a lot more enjoyable for the fact that they went out of their way to still give me a great experience! Thank you!

Our favorite "5 oclock somewhere" place for more than 10 years. Great food, served piping hot. Wonderful, friendly staff that know us by name and treat us like family. The Camarones Monterrey and Fajitas are top picks (and feed two) but everything is fabulous. Monthly Coupon Clipper and Payback books offer extra savings. A great place to gather with friends, family, and work parties. Thank you Los Jalapenos! Youre the best!

This is my favorite place to eat. Not much on decor, but the service and food is GREAT!! Been going there for 13 years! Oh, and if you are on the go, forget Taco Bell!!! Call Los Jalapenos and tell them you just want a side taco order. They are only $1.85 each! You can get them with ground beef, shredded beef, chicken, or pork. We had to feed a crowd that was helping us move and they had those 24 tacos ready in 20 minutes!
