It always takes for ever even when theres only 3 people there. Always seems like the person running the register is always clueless to whats going on, they dont even recognize that its taking 20 minutes to get 1 to go meal. Then when you get it and look at it and wonder what in gods name took so long to cook 2 cups worth of chicken and it taste like crap. No taste at all. I have a couple islander friends and this place is not even close to actual Hawaiian food Ive had with them. My suggestion is hire another cook and talk to some actual Guam or Hawaiian people and see how they make there food taste so good.

Dont do it. I am a professional Chef because of places like this, it is a crime that these people are serving this food to us. and at this price. We accidentally left a cell phone full of newborn baby pictures that I know one of the employees would have picked up while cleaning, there was no one else in the place, and apparently the manager on the phone didnt see it.. Bad vibes. unimpressed. and really shouldve gone to Five Guys Burgers. Thanks for nothing, carb city !

Where do I begin. The minute I walked in the floors were so sticky my slipper almost flew off. No hospitality what so ever. No warm welcome or thank you! Sat at a table to wait for our food and the table and chair was also sticky. The food was eh, for calling yourself Hawaiian Time, not even close to hitting the mark. Nope, not going back and will not refer anyone to eat there.. I really was hoping to say this place was Ono but no can....

We stopped in the area for lunch, and when faced with the choice between Hawaiian Time and the burger place across the street, we decided to give HT a try. What a waste of money! We spent almost $20 in food. The beef was not good, rice was dull, and salad had way too much mayo in it. Threw our food away and went over to the burger place for a great lunch at half the price. This place isnt going to last long if they keep this up.

I have been here a hand full of times, and I thought their food was good, but not very impressive. When I got my food, I kind of expect there to be a little more to it, for what I paid for. I wouldnt say that their is a huge amount of value here, and the food seems to be rather plain, in my opinion. The place is kept in a pretty clean and orderly fashion and the staff is nice, just the food could use some improvement.

The employees are friendly! I work next door and pay over the phone and they will walk my order over to me if Im not able to leave during my shift. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the food isnt consistent. Some days I get a lot of meat and some days I get hardly any. Other than that though, Hawaiian Time is great!

My family went there for dinner one night and my step mom substituted veggies for rice and Mac. The substitution was an extra 3.95 and they gave her (not exaggerating) 4 little carrots and 3 small pieces of celery. The service was okay but were never going back. Ripped us off for crap food. Five Guys is much better.

Hands down best Hawaiian Time around here. Ive been going here at least twice a week for a year and the food is always amazing. Sadly leaving for the coastgaurd tomorrow and wont be able to eat here anymore. Hopefully this can persuade anyone to try this place out. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Five of five

NO CHICKEN KATSU $!#/^&* , and whats with the Varnish on all the tables, my napkin was sticking to the table and that was after I cleaned the table with the rag I had to borrow from Soda Machine Area. Food was good, fair portions, good service. But seriously were is the Chicken KATSU and Korean Ribs!!!!!

This restaurant is very clean the staff is nice its just the macaroni salad was not good it had too much pepper in it the Kalua pork had no flavor and it was honestly too wet its not like Hawaiian BBQ I would have to give it to Stars and thumbs down sorry

Good easy lunch place. I usually get a medium and eat the rest for dinner. Good prices, good food. I will continue to go there. I see a lower carb option that replaces the rice and macaroni with grilled veggies, I will have to try that next time.

great place, very quick service. We used to frequent the NW Portland lcoation, until it closed. Beaverton was too far, and we just found out there was one in Oregon city. Glad that were able to get our mauna loa & Huli Huli chicken again!

$6 student special! Completely filling for me, delicious and relatively healthy. The music is a little loud, but not obnoxious, and it is very clean with lots of space and friendly staff. Way better than the other options nearby!

Last 2 times in the cook has screwed our order up by switching our order sizes i order the dakine beef and my wife orders a small pork.and everytime so far it gets swapped around and we dont find out till we get home.

Great food, great customer service, no wait. I got my food in like 5 minutes. I dont like that they put everything in a plastic container, it does make it easy to pack up and go but also makes a lot of garbage.

The food is ok, but Im freezing! My napkin has to be held down on the table due to the cold breeze in here, the table is sticky and so is the floor. Overall, not impressed, and will not be back.

Hawaiian time is a go-to for me. Always yummy and always filling. I recommend putting the mauna loa sauce on everything, especially the pork. But you have to ask!!
