I love Brewed. It is my favorite place in Vancouver, and I come here more often than any other. Im here at least once a week for breakfast. If I eat breakfast out, it is here. Ive been to about every other place near downtown that offers a some type of breakfast to go and every time I wish I just went to Brewed for Grandmas biscuits. Ive turned most of my coworkers onto them as well. Great value and high quality breakfast sandwiches and biscuits and gravy. The coffee is wonderful as well, and Kevin, who is usually working in the morning, makes great coffee drinks. Lunch is also a great deal, although I dont make it quite as often for that. The sandwiches are high quality deli sandwiches and I think the best deal is the zenner sausage and chips. There is a rotating selection of 5 drafts beers that are always good, and sometimes hard to find, selections of mostly local brews. They also have 2 kambucha taps if thats your thing and some other bottles, and also wine. Everyone who works here is super friendly and mostly related, so you feel like you are visiting a friend or relatives house. This can be a turnoff for some people, but I love it. The more you come in the more you learn about the family and who they are, its really great. I cant recommend Brewed enough.

The food here is pretty awesome and the lady who cooks is just the sweetest. I wish I could share the sentiments of the other reviewers about the staff and the atmosphere, but my experience has been very different. Every single time I come into this place I feel ignored. Staff is always chatting and joking around and take forever to acknowledge some of the people who come in. I find myself standing and waiting while being ignored and then end up having to interject myself. I then get the impression that they think Im being the rude one because they are then stiff with me. I get the distinct impression that if youre not a daily regular they just dont care about you. Its made me not want to come back to this establishment. I feel unwelcome for just wanting prompt service. I want to reiterate that I have been to this place several times and not once was I greeted, helped or even acknowledged until I was the one to say something. In the customer service industry you need to at the very least greet every customer on their way in. I do not appreciate all the times I spent at the counter very obviously waiting to be served while staff finished their personal conversations. Maybe it just happened to happen to me every time, but it seems like more than just a coincidence.

Yesterday my buddies took me to Brewed, a place in downtown Vancouver that I had always seen on my nights out, but never been in. It was the best experience I have had yet going out in Vancouver! Started the day off with coffee at Brewed and ended it with local beers and some awesome entertainment. The owners donned us with copious helping of samples of cheese bread (awesome), potato soup (awesome), cheesecake (awesome), lemon squared (awesome), and best of all their house brewed coffee. I dont even like plain old coffee, but I was drinking it like it was water. I was enlightened by some of the amazing staff that their iced coffee house special is brewed for 30+ hours, and boy you can taste all the TLC that went into it! The owner and workers took time to chat with us, talk about their product as well as just about anything else that came up. The building is a renovated historical building with a wonderful upper level dining area where you can chill, listen to some live music or watch a football game. We ended up staying all day, and I know I will be making a return visit. Bottom line: Great homemade food Delicious original desserts Unique local beer variety Amazing coffee drinks a MUST TRY!

I go here regularly but never thought to review until recently. My experience has always been more than amazing. I usually get whatevers on tap or a nice big cup of coffee. Its a place that works whether youre feeling a bit hungry (the mango ham melt sandwich is super yummy) or if youre just out on a walk with your dog and want a cold pint. Theyve always kindly brought a dish of water and a biscuit for her too! Friendly atmosphere and service. The only downside is it tends to get a bit crowded. If youre an introvert like me its better to go early early in the morning or after the lunch crowd to secure a comfy spot up in the loft. Bring your laptop or tablet or mobile device because they have free wifi and it works! Read a book, browse Reddit, or catch up on your studies while you drink. Just remember to clear your space and dump your dishes into the bin on your way out.

I am very lucky to work just over the bridge from Brewed. I am able to eat lunch here a couple of times per week! The atmosphere, the helpful and friendly staff and the delicious food bring me back again and again. Love that this is a local, family run place and the pride in ownership shows. All of the soups I have tried have been delicious, and I highly recommend pairing any sandwich with a cup or bowl of soup. The espresso drinks are a nice, delicious (and less expensive!) departure from the generic cup youll get from any Starbucks. This place is definitely worth the drive if you arent in Vancouver! Love me some Brewed!

Brewed is AWESOME! If you have read my other reviews, you know I love coffee. Its not the coffee that draws me to Brewed (the coffee is good). Its the concept and the beer. Brewed is my favorite spot to take a friend or date to talk over a beer. Its never too loud. Its always clean and friendly. I have had some great talks with the clients, bartenders and baristas. PLUS, they are generous with letting you taste the beers. AND you can bring kids in, because it is not a bar. (Kids are rare and usually gone by 9 pm, but its nice for parents.)

This place is stellar. Definitely wins as my favorite coffee shop in Vancouver. The staff is inviting upon initial greeting, and the coffee service is on par with my favorites of Portland. Prices are still really reasonable for locally roasted coffee, and the atmosphere itself is stellar. The upstairs space is great for studying and drinking alike. The service surprised me more than anything. In the couple hours I was here, I was checked on by every staff member at least twice (mind you, I only bought a $4 coffee). Will be back often.

We love it. From the first time we were friends with John who offered us a nice Barbera. We had a taste and bought a bottle. Took it up to the loft and ate a great sandwich and my wife had a smoked salmon salad that was "fabulous". We have been back a number of times and every time met great folks from Vancouver. Artists, Politicos, and other local notables. Great place to engage with others and or hang out have a quiet chat. Come for lunch and taste the soup. Judy, (mom) makes a new one from scratch everyday for lunch.
