People working/owning this place DO NOT LIKE presence of children. I would think all children and not just mine. Well, my husband, myself, and two kids were nicely dressed today. People usually have big smiles on their face seeing us in a public place together because of the way we interact to each other and how darling out kids are and look. Yes, I can proudly say so about my 5 year-old and 3 year-old. We decided to check out this little restaurant because we were out and about on a sunny day off work in the area. The name and the location got our attention. We came inside and waited for 5 mins to be seated. There was one young female and one older male seating and serving at the time. There was an empty table for 4 and a few more seats available. We were the only ones in line... Those two servers (one maybe the owner???) looked at us and turned away... As if we did not exist. A few more mins went by, kids were very quiet and well-behaved... The older guy came and signaled for us to follow him to the table.. He was mumbling "this way please!" I presumed... We got to the table. Sat down. My daughter started to put her hand on the box of Splenda packs. I was hanging my coat on the back of the chair... The guy immediately said "I cant have her touch this" and took it away from the table without any hesitation. He said "I will give them some puzzle to play with". He came back and stood behind his counter for 5 mins and did nothing... We finally left before ordering anything... On the way out I said to the girl "I know you have better customers to serve who are human. My children and my family are not, in your opinion." The girl tried to defend to the guy "We had people play with that before. Sorry". Well, I had never treated like this anywhere on 3 continents I had been to. I did not know people could do that to people, especially children. "Unfriendly place" is the understatement of the year!

I wish I hadnt taken so long to give this amazing little restaurant a try. These sandwiches are absolutely amazing!!!! Every person I send in there agrees as well. I always do take out but the atmosphere is so sweet like I just walked into Grandmas kitchen. Maybe even better than Grandmas kitchen when it comes to the food. They are always friendly and on top of getting your food to you quickly ( without losing the quality ) which is a plus when you only have so long to grab lunch. The mint ice tea is just as wonderful as my turkey cranberry sandwich too. Seems to be a perfect combo. Only down fall I have found is that when I am craving one of these amazing meals in the evening, I have to practice patience until they reopen the next day. Rosemarys is a must try!!!!!!

Amazing food! Everything is fresh, great quality and, I believe, made on premises. The owner is a great guy, often seating and/or serving you, himself - though his waitstaff are always attentive and friendly, as well. We love the atmosphere, too! Great old music, that makes you feel good; add to that, the nostalgic decor, and you just come away feeling satisfied and happy! If you are looking for modern digs with techno music, you wont find it here - but youll love it anyway! Great selection of specialty teas - try On Blueberry Hill! Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but not long, and totally worth it! The place is popular with the locals - and for good reason. Go and savor every bite!

I LOVE Rosemary cafe. The food is delicious comfort food made from good old fashioned ingredients. The owner is EXTREMELY familiar with the protocol for Gluten allergies and will make any sandwich a lettuce wrap at no extra charge (great for Paleo folks as well). Almost everything on the menu can be made GF, its refreshing. The prices include the tax. For a Portlander like me, that is a Godsend. (I dont know why more places dont do it that way, its so much simpler). It seems to be a family owned establishment with long term employees so Im guessing people are happy there. Ive eaten here often and I am always happy about doing so. 11

Visiting Vancouver from LA and needed to go to the bathroom so I thought I get a coffee to warm up and read a book at this coffee shop. When I entered, I ordered a coffee and asked for the restroom. The owner told me there is a 5 dollar charge and I agreed to pay him the difference. As Iam heading toward the bathroom, he tells me to leave my purse at the bar. In my purse was my wallet and books. He told me that it is the rule, so I left. Thanks God there are other coffee shops in this neighborhood, like the Panache, where I was warmly welcomed. I could even go pee and take my purse with me!!

I had suggested to two other people we meet here for lunch. The two people I invited hadnt seen each other in over 30 years. Our time at your cafe ran over our time eating lunch with catching up chat. We were asked to leave the cafe due to others waiting to be seated. We were appalled as this request. Coffee was still hot in ones cup wed paid for and felt dismissed. Never have we been asked at any other establishment small or big to leave. We will NOT be back.

The Food is good, no doubt about that. However there are lots of other good food places around. I think its important for a business to understand their impact on the environment which effects our family and friends presently and into the future. Not providing an alternative to your Styrofoam is unacceptable in the 21st century. I mean even Subway is now using paper! I choose to support businesses that care about more then just their bottom line.

When I first walked in I was in love with the place! The restaurant is clean and very well decorated with 1930s Americana. The service is friendly. I had the red lentil stew and side of greens. It was delicious! The flavors were very well applied to the dish. I would definitely come here again! It is a relaxing place to dine and enjoy good company.

Ставлю 4, только из-за скромного меню. Отличное обслуживание. Можно заказать суп и салат. Или за $9 скушать сендвич. В меню было вино, его вычеркнули.

Does NOT serve breakfast all day. Does NOT have gluten free food. My brother and I went here at 1 p.m. on a Saturday specifically for gluten free breakfast because Google and Yelp both said they had breakfast all day and gluten free options. NOT TRUE. Staff was kind and apologetic, and we went elsewhere, annoyed and hungry.

Sorry Rosemary but this place was awful. The main problem is they need to fix their ventilation. As soon as you walk in you can smell the dishes they cooked for a month, the air was overwelming with smoke from the kitchen it was literally hard to breath. The food was ok. The service was good. But Im not going to go back.

Owner grumpy in a bad way. He did not want my bike against his window. I was ok with that but his attitude was go away, not offering any alternatives. We left and went to another restaurant. I do not want to support a business that does not care their about customers.
