I agree with rachipoo- A GREAT FIND! My best friend flew into town to surprise me for my B-day this year and we wanted to find a place that was close to us and that we hadnt been to before. The location IS a little akward as its in an office building and sandwiched between other office buildings so it can be a little difficult to locate. In fact, the location/ambiance is the only reason that Im not giving a 5 on my review. The layout feels a lot like a coffee shop, which is fine but not the homey, comforting feel of, say, The Hawthorne Cafe or Marcos. Still, the food was excellent and the service was supurb. The owner (I believe?) served us and she was VERY attentive and accommodating, and when she learned it was my birthday she brought me a cupcake with a candle on it. :o) Very sweet. :o)

This is my first visit to Hilltop cafe as I had some business in the area and I was early. I was quickly greeted with a friendly smile and offered a menu and specials to choose from. I had some mixed fruit form the case and some coffee. The fruit was fresh and appealing and the coffee hot. The overall appearance was clean, neat and comfortable which is nice. Many times my experience in small office complex cafes is that neat and tidy is overlooked in the hustle and bustle. I will stop in here again and have lunch next time Im in this area for business and if you are in the area this would be a good choice as an alternative to chain food places.

Just went for the first time in Aug. 2014 because a friend recommend it. I dont live near the place, but it was worth the drive. Great food and service at reasonable prices and a very pleasant environment. Staff & clients seem to be friendly and warm. As an ex-restaurant manager the only disappointment I have about the place is that Im not the owner. I highly recommend youre giving it a try, especially for breakfast.

Weve gone here several times for work related lunches, and the establishment is always very accommodating of our parties. We call ahead to reserve a set of tables so we can fit our entire group, and the food has always been good. I enjoy the chicken and rice bowl, and the other items look delicious that colleagues have ordered, although much of it is not on my healthy style diet.

A hidden gem off 217 / 72nd! Awesome salads, made-to-order sandwiches, iced tea, cookies, lunch specials. My husband loves their club sandwich. Friendly service. Great for dining in or to go. So glad they are close to my office.

Superb! I love this place! Best deal for Lunch; Half Sandwich, Cup of Soup/Chili and Kettle Chips for $6.95! Support your local businesses and spend the extra $2 (compared to Sub-Way) to have a more healthy wholesome meal!

I visit this cafe at least 3-4 times a week and dont know how Id live without the incredible food and fantastic staff. Ive told dozens of people about my favorite lunch cafe near work. This is truly a great find.

This was my first visit but wont be my last. Service was top notch, attentive and friendly. I had the southwest chicken salad. Really good. The greens and chicken were fresh and dressing had just enough zing.

Doesnt look like your typical breakfast spot but dont let the looks fool you. I had one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had here. Great homemade salsa too.
