I ordered roast pork fried rice and orange chicken. The roast pork turned out to be bad tasting beef and was made not even close to traditional fried rice - extreme dissapointment this not real Asian food its absolutely terrible. The orange chicken was not edible I had to toss it, the chicken tasted bad like it was either old or spoiled or from frozen with burns. The only good experience I had was the friendly service from the young lady behind the counter but the food is not edible or even close to it.

Truly Terrible. The Orange Chicken is red for some reason, its also slimy, and virtually flavorless, what little flavor it has is not even remotely orange related. The teriyaki chicken is ok, but its pretty much the same as every other teriyaki place locally, nothing special. Hubby had the general tsos he says its eh, has canned peas and carrots thrown in for some reason instead of the usual onions and peppers..it also has an odd slight gritty texture to it. Avoid if you want even remotely good chinese.

Im not sure what the other guy was complaining about. I ordered the lunch special of General Tao and the chicken chow mein and asked for it to be spicy and I got a huge portion, (pieces were varying in size but I liked that). They made it just how I asked them to with the perfect amount of spice. Great tasting. I will go here from now on since its right down the road. 100% better than that place at the corner of Orchard and 56th. That place sucks.

Songs teriyaki is kinda hidden but once you find it youll either be happy you visited or regretting your visit because the portion sizes are really anything brag about, and the sauces they uses are kinda meh. But the owner is really nice and makes the place feel really homey so if you are looking for some teriyaki in the middle of a busy day then you can go there and have a decent lunch in a down to earth environment.

I have tried this place out a couple times because they are close to my work, however after today I will probably never go back. They are really good when it comes to the classics, egg rolls, chicken teriyaki, and yakisoba. Today I ordered the orange chicken. The chicken is overcooked and stringy, its soggy, and to be honest doesnt even taste good. I am very disappointed.

Havent eaten here for about 14 years and i just moved back to the area so I figured Id give it a shot. Portion size is definitely enough for two people or one big eater. The food didnt absolutely blow me away, but it was good. Price point is decent as well considering what you get. Solid spot all around if youre looking for teriyaki in the area.

If you like alot of food, Then Songs is for you. They pack the food in that tray. One teriyaki plate can feed two people. Customer service is great. The hostess is the best and she has seen my Kids grow up over the years and always ask about them when I come in. I now drive all the way from Parkland when I want Teriyaki.

I love Songs! The owner and her daughter are always nice and professional. I like more veggies with my teriyaki and they always accommodate my order without any hassle. And my order is always ready in a timely manner and hot!

Food was decent, however service is usually below average. They will not serve anything while waiting for carry-out orders, such as a glass of water. Carry-out is the way to go here, dont plan on dining at the location.

It smelled amazing, but... I swear, I was eating chicken gizzards. My General Tso chicken had small pieces, large pieces, and pieces shaped like wings. It was just... Okay. Probably wont go here, again. :(
