Small, modern, and very clean. Lots of bamboo used in construction of floors, tables, bar - also, very large windows provide bright natural lighting during the day. Excellent food presentation and flavor. Not a lot on the menu for non-sushi eaters (like my kids), but they do have various noodle bowls that are kid friendly, as well as a limited number of other items. Service was quick and very attentive (though we were there at a relatively slow time of day). Value was good: not "cheap" per se, but not horrendously expensive either - the quality of the food and service more than justifies the price. Well worth a quick drive to North Albany area.

This has been my favorite restaurant for the last 3 years and still going strong. They have the best sushi I have come across. It never has the nasty fishy taste or smell that some places have. I have never gotten sick after eating there, and I have eaten there almost at least once a month or multiple times a month in the last few years. I recently found out Im gluten intolerant and I still am able to go there. Although I cant have my favorite dishes now, they still have plenty of things I can have as well as gluten free soy sauce. Their prices fit the quality of their food, atmosphere, and service.

First off, I dont like sushi because I dont like seaweed and Im not thrilled about raw fish either, so naturally Im going to rate a sushi place lower than the average customer. I go here whenever Im outnumbered by my coworkers on where to go eat. I will say that the "Inari" sushi is good, as that doesnt have seaweed, and their soup and tempura are good, but your choices are fairly limited if you arent a sushi person. Pretty good prices if you get the right thing, but other items can be expensive.

We have been coming to momijis for a couple years... its our "go to place". The price is affordable, the sushi is okay. But the service is terrible unless they have their seasoned waitress serving. The newer, younger wait staff is absolutely terrible. ... side note.. their spicy tuna roll is MADE WITH CANNED TUNA FISH?? thats gross. Dont order that. Other then the service and the spicy tuna roll.. its okay for the price.

Ive only ever had good service a couple of times that Ive been here. Their menu is different from other Momiji locations, and they dont do the same great prices of other locations. In addition, they seem to only accept gift cards sold by their location. I dont like the atmosphere, and they dont have many good vegetarian options. Not a fan of Albany Momiji, and its conceited attitude by the employees.

Literally one of the worst places Ive been too. Not once, not twice but three times me and my coworker have gone into momijis in Albany,Oregon and every time they have either messed up or order or it tastes terrible. We went there today and the chicken teriyaki I got was literally a grilled chicken breast on a bed of white rice, no sauce what so ever! I will not be going back to momijis ever.

Best sushi in the region. Hands down. They make their own Wasabi and have excellent ginger. The rice is fantastic. The fish is always top notch. I recommend the escolar, spicy hotate, salmon, and tobiko with quail egg. Rolls are good too, tempura squid roll is a favorite of mine. Avoid the salmon skin roll unless you really like dry salmon skin.

First time diner, i had an amazing experience with momiji, their food was fresh, flavorful and their was plenty of it.. The staff was especially helpful, my waitress walked me through the menu which was highly user friendly, it had the prices listed with the ingredients and photos of all the dishes!!! Gonna make this a regular thing

Ive been here for lunch twice. They have pretty good prices (for example the miso soup is $1.25) and decent food. I prefer the sushi to the hot dishes Ive had. The place also has friendly service. I recommend this place for anybody that wants Japanese food for lunch in Albany.

Well for the area, this is the best sushi you are going to get (it would be 4 stars in PDX, but in Albany/Corvallis its a 5). Very reasonably priced and still tasty, I would come back again for that reason. Staff was fast and attentive with minimal fuss, I like that.

Atmosphere relaxed, staff is very attentive & helpful. Between my water & lemonade I never had an empty glass, very awesome! Prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely be back.

Excellent sushi, at a VERY reasonable price. The sushi lunch special is a great deal. Just enough to fill you up, for only $8. One of my top lunch destinations in Albany

Takeout review for sushi roll lunch special. 2 rolls for $9.95. Average taste and the rolls ordered (spicy yellowtail and spicy salmon tempura) were not spicy at all.
