Used to love their food but the last 3 times theyve screwed it up. I lost all my teeth to cancer so I need alot of moisture to eat most things and order almond pork subgum chow mein with extra sauce on the side what I get is the same container with half the amount of food and filled with sauce call and tell them and they said they would replace my meal so I go in next and order the same Almond Pork subgum chow mein but I dont have them give me any extra sauce but did ask that they save the almonds since I cant eat them anyway. Get my order from the guy and he says 2 orders of chicken subgum chow mein and Im like Chicken? So here I am with 2 orders that I already waited 30 min for and get chicken instead of Pork and Im pissed I say hey I ordered Chicken he say oh Im sorry but one of them was free. Left pissed decide to try again go 8n to order and tell the lady what I wanted made it specific hold the almonds and extra sauce get my order and its tipped over on its side and a little bit of juice got out and had a light amount on the bag so I ask the guy for a new bag figured if it lost that it must be nice and saucy get home and apparently that was all the moisture it had because this is the driest crap Ive ever had not even enough moisture to dampen the crunchy noodle

My friend and I were watching TED, Jennifer Lee talking about Chinese Food and we decided to go eat Chinese. He is from Mercer Island so we read the reviews online. I had been to the Imperial Dragon before and I was surprised to read the bad reviews because I thought the food was fine. So we went about 09:00 pm Sat. and we ordered cracking rice soup, spicy beef, curried chicken, happy family seafood, and the house special fried rice. We met the owner too and he was very nice. The food was simply GREAT! Our spice meter was (4) and it was just hot enough. The hot tea was perfectly brewed. The crackling rice soup was very fresh with lots of seafood in it. After the meal was over we asked the owner about the bad reviews because it did not make sense. Basically people come to the restaurant and try to scam by claiming a hair is in the food or something like that. The food was fresh and excellent and we will definitely go back. Servings were generous and we had alot to bring home. This is a very nice family restaurant/business. We recommend it with 5 stars.

If youre going here for the food... Dont! Way over priced for what youre getting! Ordered the meal for two/family style. It is over $14 per person and the dishes are small and not quality chinese. Wait staff over sold the idea on us and delivered poorly. Order of Pot Stickers was only two very small stickers on a plate. Chicken chow mein was sparse chicken in a plate of bean sprouts. It was no where close to chinese, hong-kong or american-chinese food. There was no noodles that would make it Chow Mein. When complained to wait staff they showed us the plate had under the bean sprouts a small handful of crispy dehydrated noodles (the dehydrated kind you buy at supermarket). In conclusion, if you like a plate of lukewarm bean sprouts and 3 bites of diced chicken that will taste like a plate of bean sprouts... I recommend their chow mein. Makes no sense. Needs new management here. Keep on driving.

Im not happy with the service or the food. I called in an order without viewing the menu, my big mistake. I didnt use the term "combination meal" and asked for a meal for one and ordered fried rice, sweet n sour chicken, almond chicken, and bbq pork slices. Arrived to pay and the bill was $47.00! I asked the cashier what did I order?! He said because I didnt specify combination that I ordered entrees. I thought well I guess Im stuck, paid for the meal in hopes that it would taste amazing. Oh dear lord....it was so bad I wouldnt even feed it to a dog. The chicken was dry and tasted like it had been sitting for three days! The almond gravey was lumpy and tastless as well. This place needs to learn better customer service amd make order suggestion to save the customer money. Also they need to learn safe food handling and how to be professional chefs at their prices. Never going back.

We had the family style dinner C and it was FAB-U-LOUS. The waitress was super nice and allowed us to substitute one item for Almond Chicken Subgum Chow Mein, which was excellent. Crispy noodles and flavorful. Wonton soup, potstickers and eggrolls were flavorful, exceptionally so. The Almond Chicken was SO good. We will be back for sure and I have told everyone about it. My favorite restaurant was/is WahKue Cafe in Burien because they have similar style Chinese, and the best eggroll in the world. Also, Art Louies in Ballard was also superb, but Imperial Dragon is in the same league. I long for the eggroll that is actually wrapped in thin layer of egg then breaded and fried. Everyone uses the wrappers and its not the same, but the dragons eggrolls were very good.

The restaurant itself is dirty, and grungy. We were seated right away which was 1 of the 2 ok things. Our appetizers were cold and the shrimp was way over cooked, we were only allowed to substitute one of our items for chicken wings in which were cold, way over cooked and HAIRY..... needless to say we did not pay for the appetizers. The entree was hot but was not satisfied with the taste. We ordered the seafood family meal for 2 at 15.00 a piece and ive had better food from the safeway deli. the fish tank was scummy and there was dust and dirt everywhere. the floors looked like they have not been swept in a month. We will not be returning and I recommend you dont waste your time and money on it either.

Would give it no stars if I could but thats not an option. lets start with how the food is way over priced, and then the orange chicken comes stuck together in a giant uncooked square we couldnt even eat it after seeing it. The chow me in was like no chow me in Ive ever seen before, it was awful no noodles just some slimy peas and idk what else?? The crab wontons are not won tons they look like empanadas without anything in them and to top if off we asked for a side of sweet and sour sauce and they gave us a full to go box of sauce , not a container they filled a box so this box made a mess all over our car and house. Worst food Ive ever bought. Was not even Chinese food!!

Summary: My lunchtime experience wasnt good overall. I ordered the General Tsos chicken, fried rice, and some potstickers. The Good: I got my food in about 11 minutes after I walked in the door. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced with most combinations under $7. The Bad: The chickens breading was spongy and the sauces flavor was all wrong (all spice and no taste). The fried rice tasted like it was reheated. Lastly, the potstickers were on the lower end of average. I ended up writing all but the potstickers off as a loss. The Ugly: I think I was the only person in the restaurant at 12:30 PM. That’s not the sign of a business doing well.
