Worst experience ever. Disrespectful staff, Ill never go back. I went down there with my wife to get some late night Mexican food. They had great reviews and were close so we decided to check them out. I ordered a simple "bean and cheese burrito". We get back home and I take a bite into a burrito with rice, lettuce, tomatoes and no trace of beans. Wrong order, thats fine, things happen. I go back and politely ask for another burrito with only beans and cheese. I wait for about 15-20 while the cashier and cooks speak in Spanish joking about situation. They apparently didnt know I speak Spanish fluently and could understand everything being said. The cook refused to make my burrito and made sure that there were no customers in the restaurant until they started working on my order. The cashier even said, "do you want me to go back there and make it?", since the cook was refusing to fix my order. I finally get my burrito and I get one about 40% the size of the original one. Even the cashier asked in Spanish "what size tortilla did you use." as she cringed and put it in the bag. Then the cook simple said in Spanish, "all he wanted was beans and cheese." then glared and smirked at me. Final note, I get home and open my burrito since I assumed that there would be something left in it maliciously and I find a green pepper the size of a grape tucked under the tortilla. Im not even mad, just amazed at how spiteful and disrespectful an establishment can be to a paying customer. Especially one that was polite and understanding. There people should be reprimanded.

Its a cute hole in the wall restaurant. Pretty good, but honestly... there isnt really much competition in Seattle. Some places are just awful. But hey, Id still put this place in one of the top 3 mexican restaurants Ive tried in Seattle. I got a chimichanga that came with rice and beans. It was good. Id go back there. I definitely want to see what else is on their menu. Perhaps Ill even raise my rating. Pretty authentic. They serve real menudo for those of you who enjoy it. Only 1 issue... when we went there, I noticed that the dessert tray they had on display was not only real, but it was starting to get moldy. Even though its not going tt be served, its still something you dont wanna see at a restaurant.

Absolutely loved this place! The meat is pretty juice (not overcooked but crisped a little). I enjoyed their tacos and tortas. The menu is a pretty good size. It ranges from seafood (like shrimp or fish) to things like enchiladas, gorditas or tacos. The place is a little small and perhaps not a place you would want to go for a buisness meeting. Its definitely a nice place to take your family and the food is pretty good. The service is pretty good too. The people are friendly for sure. There is no alcoholic beverages (or none that I saw) served. There are mexican drinks such as horchata etc.

This is a go to place for my wife and I. The food is delicious and very inexpensive for what you get. The restaurant Im pretty sure is an old fast food Mexican place so it is small and the seating represents that. The space is small too so its a little difficult to move around in, but we dont go for the environment. The place is always busy but somehow always seem to find a place to sit. They do a lot of to go business. Everything on the menu is between about $6 and $10, including shrimp dishes and carne asada. Unbeatable for delicious and inexpensive Mexican food.

the service used to be good, but now they have hired new people as cashiers and service is horrible. They are always messing up the orders and trying to charge more than it should be. The tacos are good but they are always trying to charge you for the drinks when the drinks are supposed to be included when you purchase 4 tacos. If they want to charge for the soda drink, then they should change their sign. It is getting pitiful and ridicules.

El Sabor is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants outside of Texas (and Mexico). The food is authentic, delicious, and consistent. They have specials, the salsas are always amazing, and the mexican house-made drinks are out of this world (horchata is probably my favorite). The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. It runs out of an old taco bell and is kept really clean. Plenty of free parking around it is an added bonus.

Best Mexican food in Seattle! I actually lived in Mexico for 6 years and my spouse is from there. The food here is exactly what I would find on my mother-in-laws table in GDL. Weve eaten there at least once a week since we discovered it. One favorite of mine is anything with "birria beef" (birria de res). Also try the favored waters: horchata (the white stuff) and agua de jamaica (the red stuff).

Hands down some the best Mexican food Ive had. The woman taking our order was super accommodating (my boyfriends a vegetarian) and helped our choices as it was our first time eating here. Its small and and quaint and the vibe is super friendly. The food was phenomenal and anytime we are back on Aurora we will definitely be eating here. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic place. Very, Very generous portions of food. Very authentic as well and for a price that cannot be beaten. We paid $30 for two entrees, appetizers, AND drinks. Very filling and delicious. Order at the counter and then sit down. I sad it took us this long to find this place. Our favorite place by far now.
