I dont know if the address is correct here. Maybe at one time the Wings Cafe was in a separate building, but its now inside the Museum of Flight. I went there today for lunch while I was visiting the museum. I was surprised to find that they use compostable packaging for the food, which is great. I had the quinoa, garbanzo bean, and spinach salad, plus a Diet Coke. The salad was really good. I wouldnt normally expect a museum cafeteria to have such healthy food, so I was pleasantly surprised. The only negative was that the person at the counter was the most anti-social employee ever to be in the food service industry. She didnt greet me. When I got to the front of the line, she just looked at me in stony silence. I ordered. She said the cost of the meal. I gave her the money. She never said another word. Maybe "hello", "may I take your order", "what would you like to eat", "here is your change", and "thank you" are not in her vocabulary.

The food was actually tasty in my opinion, and thats the only reason that I give this place two stars. I dont think I will ever eat here again because the staff was so unbelievably rude! I wanted to call the lady out on her attitude, but I prefer to not have spit in my sandwich. Theres an option on the receipt to leave a tip, I almost let out a guttural laugh. Seriously, when you work in an industry that encourages tipping and you practically roll your eyes at me as Im ordering? You need to either find a new job or go find God.

Good food & coffee, a little pricey. You dont need to pay admission to go here. Its on the north side of the museum. I like the cafeteria style: get your food (snack or whole meal) and seat yourself--no pesky waiters & you can stay a long time cause no one will bug you. Watch the small planes take off and land outside the big glass windows! Or eat outside on nice days.
