I ordered the chiccarron gordita with rice and beans and it was horrible!! Instead of chiccaron it was more like pulled pork with tomato sauce. The rice was not fully cooked and it was in between 2 corn tortillas that was falling apart. I dont know what I ate, but it sure wasnt chicharrones! It tasted gross and I am still feeling sick from eating it and that was at noon. Maybe I should have had the tamales...at least they looked like tamales.

The menu changed. Its more expensive now, you pay more and get less, and theres less variety. Used to be my favorite restaurant in Seattle for quesadillas, youd get a salad with it and they were delicious. Now the salad is gone and the price is up. The tamales went up in price too, and the whole menu has fewer options. Disappointed.

What a surprise this place was! Looked like a coffee joint. Had the best quesadillas Ive ever had. Nothing like Aztecs. Delicious savory food. Husband ate 3 tamales. He couldnt stop talking about how good they were. Well be back!
