This place is really pretty terrible. Nothing is made from scratch, and a lot of the ingredients are clearly frozen. The chicken, for example, in the enchiladas just eeks water like a frozen meal. Rice and beans are those ones ya get at cheap Mexican restaurants.. Like refried beans in a bag. Otherwise, the food is just generally bland and underseasoned. Not made with love. We like that its family run and we REALLY want to like it because its like one house down across the street.

Food was mediocre at BEST could not have gotten our order more wrong but Im not in to sending food back because I dont trust they wont tamper with it. Service was sort of stand offish. Definitely will NOT BE back! Should have gone to Mazatlan, yes Mazatlan. Bland.

My girlfriend and I got a flyer about this place at the Columbia City Farmers Market. We stopped by for breakfast the other day. I had a vegetarian burrito, my girlfriend had steak and fish tacos. We drank horchatas. Great food and very reasonable prices.

Food and service here are excellent. Just look at the parking lot, there is usually a lot of police and postal vehicles parked there. If anyone were to know good places to eat it would be one of these people in uniform right?

So delicious! Relatively cheap, huge portions. Enchiladas were absolutely perfect, and the chile relleno was delightful. The house margarita was also superb. This cute, cozy retaurant was definitely a great find.
