Have eaten here twice and have had mixed experiences. The first time I got the Turkmen bacon sandwich and it was really good but the service was really bad. We sat for twenty minutes finished before someone came by to bring our check and barely got any attention. The second time the service was better but the food was not great for the price. Got the chilequiles and a side of bacon. The bacon on the sandwich I got the first time was thick cut and delicious. The side of bacon was paper thin and barely flavorful at all. For four dollars Id expect quality thick slices of bacon with substance, not paper thin walmart quality bacon that is mostly fat. The atmosphere is nice and the coffee was good too. Ill probably keep trying different things since this is close by and decent but those are my main gripes. Better service and bacon needed.

We came during the breakfast hour so it was very quiet with only a few people in the restaurant and others in the cafe area. Our server was Quinn who was very chill and laid back and very attentive. He spoke in very soft tones which was very new to me, but I loved it. We ordered the veggie scramble and the chilaquile. Both were very delicious, except the potatoes were too undercooked for my liking. The kids got the egg breakfast and pancakes which looked like a Mickey head. Really nice decor and lovely atmosphere. Id love to come back and try the lunch/dinner menu and browse the bookstore. I saw the downstairs seating and bar area had a game table.

This definitely does not feel like an old grocery store. Great job totally revamping this spot with a warm, north woods/classic PNW feel. As if you need another reason to hang out forever in a bookstore. Now you can go to an actual bar, get buzzed and buy too many books! Food was great, lots of comfort options/classic breakfast food. So given the beautiful space, drinks and cuisine to induce a slow pace to your day, youd think this would be a place where you could spend an entire day... too bad the server drops the check without asking if we wanted anything else, then doesnt come back for ten minutes to pick up your card.

Great food. Poor service. About 20% more expensive than Id like. I had to stare down the 6 waiters on shift to get a refill of the drip coffee Id ordered. The bill was delivered shortly after I had my second course, and hadnt finished it. This would be understandable if the place was packed. It wasnt, and there was a surplus of waiters on shift. At one point when my coffee cup was empty, 3 waiters convened in the dining area when I was ready to order. For a $28 bill, the service needs to be better, and Id like to not feel rushed to finish my food (or pay) when the place isnt busy.

Great beer selection! We really enjoyed this place, but it has serious growing pains considering its brought to us by an established business. The staff was very slow, considering it was not busy. The menu was well done with a good but simple selection. However the tacos were a little bland and we couldnt find the ginger slaw on them. I do recommend this place and really hope they have more team meetings to get in sync.

Great food, good beer selection and books galore. Awesome place to work, grab brunch, happy hour or meet friends. Bar area has shuffleboard and plenty of seating while coffee shop and dining room area provide an option without the distraction of the TVs. Patio seating is great when the weather is nice.

Lovely inside and out, wonderful bookstore. The menu was excellent. I came mid-morning during the week, and the service was extremely slow, and the young woman serving me continously called me "love," which irritated the heck out of me. I would have given 5 stars if not for her poor service.

Such a cool place! Not only is it a bookstore, its a coffee shop and a restaurant. Seat g is available upstairs and outsode, but also in the basement. Located off a main raod, its easy to find. There is a small parking lot, but street parking is also available for free.

Great food and atmosphere but service is sketchy. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday, restaurant was empty and we wanted to sit outside but we were told the patio was not open. So we had to sit inside 10ft away on a nice day. We are super local and want this place to be great!

This is a good coffee house with good coffee and has a gift store where you can buy coffee and other memorabilia. There is a bookstore inside and there is free WIFI so you can carry your laptop. There is a bar downstairs so after a long day of reading you can unwind.

The food was fantastic, and the store/cafe itself is incredibly stylish and classy. Excellent selection of books, too. The only thing that marred our experience was extremely slow service, especially at the end of our meal. Still, we will be coming back.

The ultimate in a neighborhood bar. Drinks and food are great. Service a wee slow as this new restaurant/bar figures it out. Or, was it just because the servers were so friendly, each customer took a little longer? A sweet little neighborhood place

Good food. A little overpriced, with odd charges here and there. Great beer selection. Integration of the businesses is kind of awkward, and overall the vibe is a little clean, would be better to have not polished things up so much.

Raconteur had a nice outside patio, very good service, drinks and food. There are solid house specialty drinks and rotating beer selection. The clam chowder was excellent. Im looking forward to going back again.

The food is average and the service can be a little slow. The downstairs is a great setting for watching a Seahawks game, which is not something youd think when you walk into the bookstore.

Great place for books and gifts. The coffee shop is great with good offerings. The service in the restaurant can be slow any time of day but the food and bar are great.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here. The food isnt so bad either! I generally go to do homework and sip a chai tea. Youll be pleasantly surprised if youre a newbie.

Never actually got seated here, the hostess wandered away to take care of clearing a table and didnt return before we decided to leave ten minutes later.

Wonderful atmosphere, I mean theres nothing better than being surrounded by books but the food is only okay. Can be nice for quiet meetings or chats.

This is an amazing Gathering Place for the community. I can see it growing and attracting more events and quickly building a thriving neighborhood.

One of my 10 year old friends assures that she can read and get a great burger near her house. Then I gotta love it, too!

Great coffee, great baristas. Love their brunch, and all their books. Make sure to try their banana and/or pumpkin bread!
