Wow, this place has really gone down the crapper! It was never great by any means, but my wife and I ate here about once a month for 10+ years and it was at least adequate. The service is somewhere between inept and neglectful. No refills of water, and they leave all of the dirty dishes on the table. The waitress actually brought me someone elses credit card. The portions have been cut back, and the quality of the food is worse than those Panda-type places in the mall. The new decor makes one feel like one is dining in a nail salon. [censored] We noticed some tables near us ordering from a different menu than the one we had ordered from. As we were leaving, my wife asked if it would have been possible to order from the other menu. The cashier (?) said "Oh, thats for Chinese. This menu for Americans." [censored] Never again.

I will be giving them a BIG NO TODAY! I have ordered from this place before and the food is decent, but the customer service is fine! But today I had the worst experience I have ever had in my life with customer service. I ordered through eat24 for delivery, all I ordered was wonton soup, bbq pork and a soda. Expected delivery time was 12:15pm. 2:00pm rolled around still no food and no calls from them, so I took it upon myself to call them and see what the hold up was. All I got was we are busy blah blah and they hung up on me. No coupon, no apology... Nothing... I felt so disregarded and disrespected.

FOOD POISONING!!! So I am not the kind of person who usually goes on here and writes reviews, but I felt obliged to, in an effort to prevent someone else from suffering the same fate we did. Ordered from here with 2 other friends. The 3 of us have been violently ill ever since eating their food. The food was not even that great to begin with, but definitely not worth the vomiting and diarrhea. I called the restaurant the next day to let them know what had happened, and they basically told me to f*** off! HOW CAN YOU RUN A BUSINESS LIKE THIS!?!?!?!?

The service was fast... but too fast. Our food went from order to table in about 3 minutes, which meant nothing was cooked to order... and some of it was just plain cold. My BBQ pork felt almost frozen in the middle and smelled/tasted rancid. Neither my friend nor I finished anything we ate. It literally made us sick. Our waitress was nice though and I considered the price "okay" considering the quality of the food. I know a lot of place where we could have gotten much better for only a dollar or two more.

Food: Ordered vegetable chicken and kung pao chicken. Taste = ok, freshness = horrible (chicken was really funny smelling if you remove the sauce), Cleaniless = very poor, everything is dirty (ceiling fan, kitchen, washroom). The biggest issue with this place is that I got diarrhea and my 3 old son threw up as soon as we got home. Please steer away from this restaurant. Decor: old but is ok Service: ok, they wont explain much to you. You just to figure it out for yourself.

I came here for lunch alone, and the receptionist there keep me waiting for such a long time while she served others, then I also found that she did not give me the lunch special menu, although she did give this menu to another guy who ate here alone in front of me.I think the reason she did that is I am a Chinese girl, who came from the same country of her.I feel awful and then I want out without ordering anything.Just want to be known by other Chinese guys who come here alone someday.

I order item "A" on the menu. I would have to agree with the poor reviews posted a year ago. Not much has changed. My order of Almond Chicken was cold, everything. Not one thing was at proper holding temps. The "gravy" used over the chicken was totally cold and like eating pudding - salty pudding at that. You had to go through the kitchen area to get to the bathrooms. The floors were slick with grease, and the bathrooms themselves would be of interest to the CDC.

The prices are great, and I happen to like my Chinese food a little greasy. The people there are friendly and eager. its all right by me. I live in Spokane, and I go to Seattle three or four times a year. A trip to Seattle isnt complete without a stop at China First. I often pick up a "to go" dish to eat in my motel room, as well.

Ordered 5 star Kung Pao Chicken, and it was literally just a plate a chicken. No vegetables or anything else. It was mildly spicy, if that, even though I asked for it "very very spicy" aka 5 stars. Service was terrible. I felt like I was intruding on the waitress.

This place has both traditional and Americanized versions of many dishes. The traditional dinner menu is vast. Lunch tends to run a little more to the Americanized side. It doesnt look like much from the outside...but go in and you will be in for a real treat.

Their food has decent quality and portion for the price. Besides the Americanized Chinese dishes, they do have another menu of authentic Sichuan cuisine, ask the servers for that menu, Im sure it is unique in U-District.

Its kind of clean on the inside but kind of dirty, so who can say if cleanliness is an issue here. Otherwise, the food is what youd expect: run of the mill and generous in portion size. Plus, the prices are good

The service is extremely rude and slow. I placed food delivery order and they told me it will take another hour after more than hour of waiting. She was extremely rude and told me to go cancel the order.

horrible food. all dark meat chicken in the chicken with broccoli. The prices were much higher on the phone than on the menu and they charged for white rich. Worst chinese I have ever had.

I went to the one in University district. So maybe it is different, but the food quality was not the best. I got the hot and sour soup though, so I cant speak for the rest of the menu.

Friendly homely place that serves good Chinese food. Used to be my favorite place when I was a student at UW. Even remains now after many years. Keep up the taste and family run place!

Not good. The first time I tried it, the food was alright but I still gave it a second chance. I was not satisfied the second time around either. The atmosphere is dark and dingy too.

The restaurant is beautiful and looked up scale but all that was tempered by disappointing customer service. My food was placed on the table without a single word. I will not return.

Went looking for cheap Chinese and was completely blown away by the quality/service... especially considering what I paid for it! Check it out, you wont be disappointed.

An average Chinese place. The egg Fu young was tasty, and the food arrived quickly. Nothing really exceptional about this place, but nothing too terrible either.

Infinite tea refill and rice refill, food is actually better if you ask for non-spicy. Rice is priced based on the number of customers.
