Long waiting line. When got to the middle-aged woman to order, she said excuse me a minute and walked over to start filling orders. After 5 minutes I asked the other order person if he would take my order. I had gone to this restaurant due to an add advertising 5 wings, etc.as a special. Thus special was included in the choices on the screens behind the order person. When I ordered it I was told the special was no longer available, while I was being told this the ad popped up on the screen again. Made different order. 15 minutes later, after people with order number after me had received their orders I finally got mine. While waiting I watched the woman who had left me standing there waiting on her to take my order begin taking orders again. If people wanted a drink, she handed them a paper cup gripping it so her fingers were inside the cup. The person who was walking around with a clipboard was standing at the counter next to this woman with her fingers in peoples cups, she said nothing. 1. Leaving a customer standing there and walking away is just rude. 2. Advertising a special on the menu board and refusing to sell it I believe is bad business practice. 3. Have done food handling jobs and following health practices learned for this job putting your fingers inside the cups of the customers is not only bad practice it just may be a health code violation. When I did finally get my order it was bearly edible. I must tell you I will be one of the worst walking critic of this restaurant from this day forward. One can only wonder what other health violations are occurring in this restaurant.

Check your order and receipt to make sure they give you EVERYTHING you ordered and paid for before you drive away from the window. Something is going on at this Popeyes. EVERY time I have gone here (Im lazy and like fried chicken, so Ive gone here a lot) someone on staff has "forgotten" to give me something from my order (drinks, sides, desserts, CHICKEN?!) and attempts to quickly wave me away. I dont know if its a running bet or joke or if theyre inefficiently trying to speed up service, but its really hard for me to believe that every person on staff at the drive-thru window is incapable of completing a simple order.. This past time, the lady at the drive-thru forgot my drinks, which I expected at this point, so I reminded her (politely) that I ordered 2 large drinks (and they were on the receipt). She kind of smirks and hands me two mediums.. I tell her again, "Im sorry, but these are mediums, I paid for 2 LARGE." Shes literally glaring at me as she hands the drinks back, like "how dare you inconvenience me by making me give you exactly what you paid for." It shouldt be this difficult!! Customer service jobs really suck sometimes, but that doesnt mean you get to try to rip off complete strangers who just want their food. Im tired of this little experiment to see if they can ever complete an order correctly. Find fried chicken elsewhere or else make sure to hold them accountable for getting your order correct.

The Best Fast Food Fried Chicken Oh, Seattle and the surrounding area has a severe lack of black comfort food. It was a relief to find this place after being so disappointed by places like Skillet. Popeyes and Bojangles are my two favorite chains in the country. Both are a bit too expensive but deliver consistently delicious products. A regular meal hovers around $9-11. Sides are hit or miss, but not bad. I would say just stick to biscuits and seasoned fries; the mash and gravy just cant touch homemade. The chicken itself was perfectly cooked; crunchy, crisp skin and juicy, salty, brined meat. The buttermilk biscuits are small, but they really make the meal. The buttered bottoms fry up nicely on the baking sheets and the interiors are nice and chewy, like a proper biscuit dough. If they have the Bonafide Big Box ($5), definitely get that. Its the best value on the menu. Its just enough for one person to be satisfied (unless youre super hungry). The sweet tea is perfect if you know what youre getting into. If you dont, youll want to add a lot of ice. The restaurant itself could be a little cleaner. There was definitely some standing around. But as a whole, the hospitality is about what Id expect from a Southern restaurant. Everybody seemed pretty happy and had a sense of humor and pride in their work. Definitely give Popeyes a shot.

Ive always been a fan of Popeyes Chicken over other similar restaurants, such as KFC. For the most part, you cant go wrong with fried chicken and Popeyes does a good job with theirs and always has some kind of new special or variation of seasoning on the chicken. From my experience at this particular location, the food quality is consistent and youll never get lukewarm food. If anything, you may have a short wait while they cook up a new batch for your order. The menu has all the classic southern style comfort foods you would expect, like mashed potatoes, beans and rice, po boy shrimp sandwiches and more. In addition to the classic side items like mac and cheese and cole slaw. The dine-in service, can be really inconsistent. They do have a gigantic dining area inside, but that is where you will see the work ethic of the employees up front. Dont get me wrong, I dont expect five star restaurant service from a Popeyes but the demeanor of the employees should be consistently positive, which is not always the case at fast food restaurants.

Saturday March 26,2016 - 6 PM ; ordered 16 piece for $23.99 take home. At home opened the box to place them on serving tray, my order of 16 pieces consisted of: 2 breast, 3 drums, 3 thighs, 6 wings. Should have had 4 of each piece not full of wings. Called store manager who was disrespectful and rude she said she would only replace two pieces and hung up the phone...!!!?? I was told if you cant solve the problem then you are part of or are the problem. If one can easily steal openly in the place of business in light of the day from customers then one would without any hesitation steals from the business...STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS = STEALING FROM BUSINESS...to add , stealing fried chickens from customers matters.

We live more than 20 miles away from the nearest Popeyes Restaurant (Renton, WA). We wanted chicken for dinner last night. My husband was near the restaurant and decided to go to the Renton location. He ordered a "value meal" for the family. When he got it home, the 9 biscuits that were to come with the meal were not with the order and I was not happy about that, but the chicken was excellent. We used to go to Popeyes more often when we lived closer and I remember the sides being bigger and tasting better. I could make a meal of the red beans and rice, but that was even a disappointment. We have decided that if we ever go to Popeyes again, we will only get the chicken and skip the side...
