I discovered this wonderful little cafe on a recent visit to Port Orchard. When we parked in their lot behind the big church we knew we were going to have an enjoyable meal. Along the wooden fence there were potted plants and flowers along with a few pieces of what I would describe as whimsical art. We climbed the stairs and entered the cafe. I immediately felt as if I were at someones home. I had a tasty vegetarian sandwich along with an average, but amble, side salad. My daughter tried one of their homemade hamburgers and is still raving about it! The side of fries were, well, a side of fries. Maybe one day they will also serve homemade fries. My 4 yr old granddaughter, who is a picky eater, ate every bite of her turkey sandwich. The service was incredible! Our sever made us feel as if she knew us personally, and catered to our every need with a beautiful smile and a charming personality. I cannot wait to return and try their breakfast. I would highly recommend this affordable but quaint little cafe to anyone looking for a quick yummy breakfast or lunch.

This was our first visit to this quaint cafe and my wife and I really liked it. We came in for brunch so I had their special today, it was a skillet and it was delicious. My wife had their biscuit and gravy meal and that was ok. We missed the place the first time because we didnt know it was the church but around the back, very cool indeed. I think overall it was a great place to have meals when youre out and about and given its location and its ambiance, it really makes visiting Port Orchard worthwhile.

We stopped here when we were visiting the area from out of town. We love going to unique places, instead of the same old chains that we can go to anywhere, and this place definitely fit the bill! A very cozy and unique space, and the waitstaff was exceptionally friendly. Our food was delicious, and was seasoned just right, with some slightly different flavors that we really enjoyed. You can tell that a lot of love and care has gone into this business!

Awesome little spot in downtown port orchard. Came in here before going hiking in the Olympics and it was delicious. The staff are very attentive and definitely dont pass you up on their way around the tables, I got the corned beef hash and it was by far the best Ive had in town at least to this point. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a good breakfast or lunch. Thank you Home Made Cafe and staff

Had the meatloaf sandwich (Seahawks Sandwiche), it may be my new favorite meatloaf sandwich. I did it without the bacon though, and it does not need it. Cozy dining space, friendly service and people. My wife had a breakfast burrito that made no mention of tomatoes on the menu. When it arrived with tomatoes inside and on top they remade it quickly, and with out any fuss.

What a great find! Everything we eat was a real home cooked meal from the super cheese mac to the homemade meatloaf sandwich. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Has a warm comforting ambience and originality it was a church. Really recommend if your in the area.

The food was average but I was sick so things may have tasted better. The homemade gravy had a gritty texture to it. Dont get the biscuits and gravy. Certainly better than what most of Port Orchard has to offer.

Great food, friendly people. The outside seating is very cute although the chairs on the gravel/concrete squares makes falling in the cracks and sinking in the gravel a fun additon to drinking hot coffee.
