I figured that based on stellar Yelp reviews, this restaurant would be great. It is not bad, but certainly not one that I would go to again. My fajita, according to the menu was supposed to have carrots, celery, Mushrooms, Onion and bell peppers, and shrimp. It came in and didnt have carrots or celery. I asked the waiter if this dish was supposed to have carrots and celery and he immediately confirmed. I asked him to find them in my dish and he could not. He took it back and they added the stir-fried carrot and celery and brought it back while my wife was half finished with her food. If the waiter knows what goes in the dish and the cook doesnt, there is a problem in the kitchen. My fajita dish, although sizzling, was quite small. I typically dont finish my fajita in some Mexican restaurants. But at Tres Marias, I was hungry after I finished it (I already asked for more tortillas too). Restaurant is clean and table service is good. Food tastes good if it has all the ingredients in it. Portion is small. Pico De Gallo portion was tiny and served on a small flat saucer which makes it difficult to dig in. Hot sauce for chips was reasonable. The bean dip was good and a pleasant surprise. The refried bean on my dish was specially good and I dont usually like the refried beans. Restaurant was clean and nearly empty during our visit but it filled up. Beer prices were not bad. Didnt visit the bathroom. Parking is street parking and depending on when you go, it might be a problem. 2 stars is being quite fair during my last experience. 3 stars is too many, and they deserve better than 1.

If I could give it 10 stars I would!! We walked just before close and they didnt rush us at all!! They actually kept seating people. Javier was super accommodating with our special requests and service was very fast!! The ceviche was to die for my husband now wants to drive all the way here from bothell just for it!! The bacon wrapped prawns same thing amazing!! And the carne asada again no words this place is beyond on point!! Not only worth stopping by if your in Monroe but totally worth a drive of 20 plus minutes!! To die for!! And thats alot since Mexican Restaurants are a dime a dozen this one definitely sets its self apart with Superior service great quality and taste!! I cant say enough!!

Three of us dropped in on a rainy evening into this cheerful Mexican restaurant and were WOWED! We were welcomed and allowed to select our seating. We slid into a comfy booth and soon began to peruse the wide array of offerings. Complimentary warm, crisp corn chips arrived with homemade pico de gallo, bean dip, salsa...we ordered a side of guacamole: generous & delish! Mole was excellent, fajitas right on target with good sides - especially enjoyed the black beans. Cadillac margarita was superb; house got a thumbs up too - our designated driver enjoyed his cranberry juice

Wonderful, authentic Mexican restaurant on Main St in Monroe, just off Hwy 2, on to way up from Seattle, to Stevens Pass in the Cascades. The staff was warm, friendly, courteous and very efficient. The chips, bean dip, pico, and salsa, (which are a great indicator of the quality of the rest of the fare) were outstanding. We had combination plates that included rice & beans, tacos, enchiladas and tostadas. All very flavorful and fresh. Menu prices are very reasonable as well, ranging from $5.95 to $15.50. . Definitely recommended.

Great stop after a long hike! The people there are super friendly and get you set up with a ton of chips and salsa. Salsa is A-OK, beans and rice are legit. Good veggie options. Lots of dishes I hadnt spotted this far north(mole, sopes) but a bit pricey compared to other Mexican restaurants(e.g. $17 for Camarones a la diabla). Overall great visit and will definitely stop again!

Very friendly, great service. My food was great, the dish my wife ordered was not to her taste but was still very good. As we were paying they brought her a to go box with her order remade to her liking without us asking or even complaining. They aim to please here. I would go back anytime Im in town.

These guys take great care of us. The chips come with refried beans, the house Marg is solid, the Cadillac double is the right price. The food is good. The neon noises in the front seats give me headaches, so I just dont sit there. My favorite Mexican in Monroe so far.

The staff always seem really friendly and the food is pretty good and decently priced. There may be better places to go for cheap Mexican food but this place just has a great atmosphere.

Just not that good. It looks like it would be good from the street but when they severed the guacamole in a premade/wholesale shell that sealed the deal.....
