I was in Los Gatos for a friends wedding. A group of us went out to eat here for lunch. The food was ok, but certainly nothing the write home about. Service was mediocre, and some of the staff were just plain rude. What really warrants the one star rating is this: We were getting ready to leave. I had already paid up and was waiting for the rest of the group to finish. Needed to use the restroom. Got up and found that the door was locked. So I knocked. Didnt hear a response, so I did what anyone else would do and knocked again. Still no response. So I asked the staff if I needed a key for the restroom. They just shrugged saying "Someone must me in there." So I sat back down with the group and figured it could wait. A moment later, a staff member comes storming over and starts yelling at me. Apparently he was the one in the restroom, and was claiming that I was "trying to break down the door", which is preposterous. Then the manager came over and threatened to call the police becasue he thought I was causing a disturbance. I said "Fine, call the police, lets see what they have to say about this." After a bit of arguing, the manager suddenly realized what was going on, and got all apologetic. I, and a few members of our party, gave them both an earful. Dont about them, but where I come from, if youre in the restroom and someone knocks, you reply "someones in here" or "occupied" etc. Anyway, got my money back, gave them the finger, and walked out with applause from the rest of the restaurant. Needless to say, I dont plan to return...ever. Any establishment that employs knuckleheads like that doesnt deserve my money.

This place has been around ever since I can remember, growing up here. And its my favorite place for lunch in downtown LG. Great patio. Great salsa bar. Great food. My wifes favorite is the Mesquite Chicken Salad substituted with shrimp. Its in her top 5 of all salads anywhere. I love corn tortilla tacos and their chicken and al pastor both taste really fresh and flavorful. I probably shouldnt have their (dairy free?) peanut based salsa thats so creamy on my tacos, bc its bit the right pairing, but I love it so much I do anyways.

we took our 2 year old to have lunch today and ordered the totilla soup. At one time, we found our 2 years old is chewing something for a long time, and we asked her to split it out and take a look. guess what , it was a bubble gum !!! Well, we got the money back, but it makes us feel really sick. Think twice if you ever want to dine here.

Andale has excellent Mexican food at a reasonable price. Make sure you grab a table by the fountain in the small garden. After lunch/dinner you can take a stroll a block south to the Coldstone Creamery for desert.

For a place that is located at heart of the los gatos town it surely lacks in customer service. The food is in the same line. For a mexocan food restaurant it lacks taste. Overly priced with limited taste.

Quality food, decent (for LG) prices, excellent moles. The chicken is always cooked perfectly. Not enormously flavorful but that way the kids like it (and thats what mole is for, anyway). Reliable mexican

Great local in Los Gatos, fun environment, real Hispanic feel. Friendly staff! The food is on point, and authentic. Cant complain about the price being in a up scale area. A must if in the area!

Rang up order completely wrong. Overcharged for items we didnt order. When confronted and asked for refund we were treated with attitude. Horrible service. Overpriced anyway stay away

Finding a high end Mexican food restaurant can be tricky. Andale has been doing a great job for over 20 years. This place is great for families or date night. Highly suggest Andale.
