I went to the Lynnwood location a couple of weeks ago and the experience was terrible. It was my first time there with my girlfriend, also her first time, and another couple. The other couple had been there several times and had raved about this restaurant but I doubt theyll go back there after the experience we had. First off, the restaurant has an unusual location. Its very hard to get to unless youre in the far right lane on the same side of the street, otherwise youre darting across 3 or 4 lanes of traffic in Lynnwood to get there. Once you finally find parking in their steep and narrowly-spaced parking lot, you walk into the restaurant. The first thing we noticed, besides it being VERY cramped, is that the decorations are random pictures or of naked people ALL OVER the walls. We were seated (on booths that were so crappy you could feel the springs under you) right in front of three statues of naked backsides... I dont know about you but thats not what I want to see when Im trying to eat. Second, while the waiters/waitresses are friendly enough, they are very loud, talk very fast, and is like serving you is more of a chore than a priviledge. We ordered our food and began eating. This was where things got really disappointing. I think Ive had better food from the frozen prepared meals at Costco. It was honestly the same food, if not worse. Of course halfway through our meal I realized there was a long hair in my food; the same color and length as our waitress. I was done eating at that point. We ordered desert hoping we would have more luck with that. Our waitress came by and hastily put four dishes and silverware in front of us and walked off without another word. My girlfriend picked up her plate to put it in front of her and she noticed in the very dim lighting that there was FOOD STILL ON IT. It was as if the dishwasher had taken the dirty dishes, dunked them in soapy water, and then handed them to the waitress to put on our table. At that point we all took turns looking at the plates and realized that they all had crap on them and so did the silverware. We piled them back up on the end of the table and the waitress walked by. We told her what had happened and she said, "Oh, did someone bring you these?" ... yeah, YOU did. She brought us back new plates and silverware and we examined them very carefully. Nothing wrong this time. The tirimisu was an absolute disappointment. It came in a large bowl with four layers of EXTREMELY thin and wet cake, hardly no chocolate, and so much powdered cocoa on top that it was ridiculous. The dinner was awful. The desert was terrible. The service was sub-par. The whole restaraunt was just crap. Dont go here unless you like all this stuff as well as wasting your money.

The Lynnwood Buca di Peppo is really a big disappointment. In general, the atmosphere could really be a hit. But the food and food quality is really hit and miss. The only thing that I can say was adequate was the wine. The Caesar Salad was very dry and lackluster. The garlic bread with mozzarella had ample garlic , but was very bitter as the garlic was not well roasted. I cant remember what the menu name was, but I had what was essentially a seafood linguine. The mussels were nominally OK, but the shrimp and calmari were dry and obviously not fresh, and likely frozen. The dish as a whole was dry and lacked much flavor. Hardly what you would want to serve in an established reputable restaurant. My wifes meal was much more favorable, and the marinara sauce was quite tasty. They tried to replace the poor attempt of seafood linquini with the same order as my wife, but it took an extraordinarily long time to come out, and it was obvious that the presentation was hastily thrown together. After tasting an unusual flavor in one of the spinach manicotti, I asked my wife to compare the flavor with hers, and she said it tasted very different. Well, obviously, that ended my attempt to enjoy a good meal. The evening of lackluster salad, bitter bread, one bottle of chianti, and only one decent entree, because I still wonder what was in the replacement dish; the cost of the meal with the normal 20% tip was over what I would normally pay at a much finer dining establishment, and all for what was really a very undesirable dining experience. A much better dining experience for the money can be had at Arnies or Anthonys, or on a more similar note, the Olive Garden. And so much quieter, too.

We made reservations for NYE for 4pm for 4 people. We arrived about 15 minutes ahead of time and was seated immediately but we told the hostess that the otherv2 guests were not here yet. As soon as we say down out waitress too my husband and my drink order and asked when the other 2 were going to arrive. I explained out reservations were at 4pm so I suppose around that time. At 4:01pm the waitress asked if we had called the other 2 to see when they were going to arrive. Now keep in mind not one other person was seated it the back banquet hall. We ordered an appetizer because I do know that time is money. She cintinously checked every 3 minutes if we had heard from our guests. I eventually snapped and said I guess we will order since you are rushing us. Our guests arrived late I will admitt, 23 minutes to be exact. Our waitress was annoyed and you could tell. Long story short, when the otherv2 guests were ready to order she was no where to be found. During the dinner she only checked on us once. In the meantime, while we were still eating we were asked if we needed boxes to take our food home in by another waiter. This was actually when I was serving more food to my husband and my guest was in mid bite. After we were finished we wanted to see the dessert menu and was given one to share between us all. We we evidentally took too much time because our waitress rushed us yet again. After over $200 later I feel like what I felt would be a great NYE dinner was pretty awful. I will probably not go to Boca di Beppo again for a long long time and will certainly tell my story to all my friends.

Rude! Rude! RUDE! We had a 65th birthday party tonight for my sweet, generous aunt. It was all ruined by unneccessary rudeness! This dinner party was planned with them weeks in advance for 28 people. We arrived at ten till 5PM with reservations for 5PM. We asked to go decorate the tables they were cramming us into and we were told NO! (Later to find out my uncle had requested this time and told it was not an issue)After being rushed through our meal, we were told that we had to leave! We had APPEARENTLY exceeded the 2 hours that they were allowing us for our party. I thought they were kidding! We spend almost $1,500.00 and they tell us to leave? Wow so rude! The manager aproached MY WIFE telling her, "No one is leaving here till this bill is paid!" and showed her the bill! She was not the responsible for the bill, nor did my uncle want her to see how much it was, it was not her business. This is the manager? How unprofessional and inexcusable. They were asking us to leave, not like we were trying to leave without paying. What a dive! I can name 28 people that will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again. It has been years since I have eaten at this Buca, and enjoyed it on my previous visits, but the food was served cold, was greasy, and tasted like it came out of a Chef Boy-ar-dee can! Even if the food had been good, the manager ruined any chance of us having a good time, or my aunt enjoying her 65th birthday. A day we cant get back. Breaks my heart. She deserves better. I hope the owner reads this and has a discussion with this manager.
