I love this place. Its a bit trite to call it my "spirit animal" but its pretty close. Just finished up my 7th or 8th meal there since I discovered it last summer, and cant believe I forgot to go here for a few months in a row. Their tea is awesome, their entire menu (I think Ive had nearly everything) is consistent, and the staff is great. I love the ambiance, and I guess Ive been trying to reverse engineer it for some time. Pretty magical. A soft jazz / romantic feel? Im working on it. I would not hesitate to bring a date here. I wouldnt go here in sweatpants, but Ive seen people do it. Prices are pretty reasonable so I guess its bound to happen. The fish on fire is a pretty fun order if youre trying to impress someone (bc its actually on fire). If youre a foodie, Ive been to one restaurant with better Thai food whenI was outside DC (Sisters Thai in Fairfax), but 2C is probably better than the other half dozen I tried, and as I mentioned above, the tea and ambiance are also great. I usually go on the weekends. The same staff is working all the time. They seem to be hard workers and drained sometimes if you watch them not with customers, but they always take great care of me so I tip well. Hope they know its an appreciated place! No idea why theres a one-star review now. I saw it randomly packed one day, maybe service gets backed up. I usually go late at night

This is, hands down, the best Thai food I have ever had. If you are looking for a place to go that wont disappoint in Lake City, this is it. My fiance and I have taken people here several times, to universal acclaim. They have great desserts as well. You probably wouldnt expect cheesecake at a Thai restaurant, but theirs is fantastic. The people that run the store seem to be very genuine, nice people as well. Case in point: Today is the day before Thanksgiving, and they set up a table outside of their restaurant to give away pizza and soda, for free, to anybody passing by who wanted it. Wonderful restaurant. I cannot recommend it (or the crispy basil chicken) enough.

Wow!! I literally finished an amazingly delicious dinner and sat down to write this review. We are always in search of a Thai restaurant that can deliver quality, fresh, and tasteful food. Its been a real challenge, but we were absolutely delighted with the food we ordered. Everything was top notch, presented perfectly, tasted fabulous - and the Pineapple Fried Rice was the best I have had in years. I almost didnt want to write this review because I wanted to keep this gem of a place to ourselves!!!

I think our pick from our last meal here was the Crispy Basil Chicken. We also had green curry, papaya salad, and pad thai. What struck me as something different was the presence of avocado in the green curry and papaya salad. It wasnt bad...just different, and took me aback in regards to my taste buds. We came right before the dinner rush, so I suggest calling in to reserve, if possible.

Its the best Thai place Ive ever gone hands down. Great atmosphere, exceptional service, and top quality chefs. Ive tried at least 10 different items on their menu and theyve always met or exceeded my expectations. If you like spicy food but also like great flavor, this is one of the only places that really do it well. I cant recommend this place enough.

Great food, definitely the best in the neighborhood. Really friendly staff make you feel at home. On one our first trips, one of the staff took our baby for a little "tour" around the restaurant so we could actually relax and have a bite to eat ourselves. It was way above and beyond, and made a great night out for our little family.

My fiancé and I went here to try out the new Thai dig in the neighborhood. I ordered the drunken noodles w/tofu and my fiancé ordered the pad-woon-sen w/chicken. The flavors were amazing and the spice level was perfect. The portion sizes were on target as well (you get your moneys worth). We will definitely be back.

Great food, though sometimes the service can be slow. Love the crispy basil chicken dish! My partner goes for the rama chicken every time. Highly recommended, but can get crowded during peak times and the service responds accordingly with slow downs. Not enough to turn me away.

A nice mix of traditional and less traditional dishes here. Its hard to be disappointed. Be warned that the spiciness of dishes can vary a lot from visit to visit, and even between dishes on the same visit. Order mildly if youre sensitive.

Went on a date here for my first time here. The food was great. You can generally choose how spicy. Full bar separate from the dining area. My only problem was reading the menu. When We did choose the meals we got were both amazing.

2C Thai is friendly, tasty, and quite reasonably priced. Every dish Ive sampled has been superb. Particularly favorites: Crispy Basil Chicken and Massamun Beef. Even their fried rice is a cut above the competition.
