First the milkshakes and hamburgers were great and was worth the time it took to find the place. I was traveling with two boys recently and the dinner, with their famous milkshakes, was the boys choice for lunch....when we arrived we were surprised to find a very colorful food truck sitting in the parking lot and no dinner...as it turns out there had been a fire in June and the old place had burned down. Disappointment soon turned into a fond memory when the boys got to order lunch from a food truck, sit in the shady garden while listening to classic rock-in-roll. The favorites...for the boys a chocolate and peanut butter shake, while mine was an old fashion malt and sharing great music with a new generation...priceless experience!

Nice cabin, but a little run down. Could use a ceiling fan with the heat of summer. Shows cabin guest wifi but no password, password in the visitors books is for a non existent internet (Elvis). Bring microwavable foods, mirco refer and coffee pot is provided, some dishes and eating utinsles as well, but bring microwavable dishes to heat things up. The decor I do like. The diner truck, I have yet to try but hear it is good. Other places around to eat at, a pub on 207 has pizza half off on Thursdays, the Squirrel restaurant is pretty good and close. It is about 15-20 minutes to Leveanworth, there is a Safeway there but it is a small one.

There are not that many places that offer low carb foods. I was pleasantly surprised to find this diner offering it on the menu. I had a low carb chicken which was an open face cordon bleu. It came with a side salad, which was colorful and nicely presented. Beers were generously priced. Philly steak was not greasy and pretty tasty. Do not why we never stopped here before. Great to hear old classic music (Roy Rodgers and Jazz) that the radio stations do not play anymore. Staffs seem very nice.

We showed up at the dinner in the morning really stressed out and not extremely hungry so we ordered one Italian scrambled eggs plate and as I sat there the atmosphere is so pleasant and clean that by the time we left we were very pleased with our choice to stop. the food was not only outstanding the service matched I would recommend this place highly!

Service was poor from the lady taking the order. If youre in ANY service industry you have to be ready and willing to serve people of all colors and backgrounds, tattoos etc... There were flies all over the trailer and kitchen. The burger was just ok, didnt seem fresh but for being the only "restaurant" out here it did its justice.

Im guessing that soft serve ice cream has infiltrated the 59er. Like another user said, "You have to suck down the shake before it goes runny." Stay clear of the southwest chicken salad too. The greens and veggies are ok, but then you see a chicken Mcnugget sliced on top of it and youre like, "This is $10?!!"

This used to be a really good place for burgers and milkshakes. This was our first trip back since they burnt down in June and we were very disappointed in our burgers and shakes. If it wasnt for the swarm of yellow jackets no-one would have enjoyed our burgers, they yellow jackets did though!

Stayed there for a night sometime in January. Booked a cabin and it was snowing all night. The diner itself looked really beautiful with all the snow. It is at a very short distance from Leavenworth. Also, the food served at the diner itself was awesome. I still remember it one year forward.

This place used to have great milkshakes. Dont know what happened but the last few times I have been at either of their diners the milkshakes have been runny and you have to drink them quickly hopefully getting some that is still frosty and not runny and warm. Not worth the price.

Big burger was small 9 bucks , 21 dollers for two mcdonalds burgers and a fry. Not worth it and i got smoke inhalation from there vent and they asked me to go to the table to put kethup on it ,to go order . Zero stars

Google maps made it seem like the diner was still here. It burned down july 4, 2017. Owners posted a sign saying they hope to be back open summer 2018. Looking forward to coming back then to try the milkshakes.

This place is legit. Get the wet fries. The Cali Philly is pretty darn good, and the burgers are above average. Prepare for large portions.
