Great little place. Its got small-town charm and a unique atmosphere with classic-car-inspired decor. The servers were friendly and accommodating - I visited with a 20-member school debate team, so they had a lot on their hands - and the service was reasonably fast. I like that extra condiments are free of charge! The food was tasty, with a wide variety of sandwiches and burgers. They come in Red Robin-style baskets with steak fries, which were a little salty but still tasty. Prices were also Red-Robin style, with my burger coming it at just under $10. If I came through Ellensburg again, I would definitely consider returning here.

Best Milkshake Ever! Passing through town on a work trip and stopped in. Great decor, clean, and the service was excellent. The Red Horse burger was good, and I wanted either a milkshake or a sundae to satisfy my sweet tooth after my meal. The server told me the milkshake was the right choice, so I took her word and ordered one. OMG! I was in no way prepared for the awesomeness of that shake. Ive had chocolate milkshakes at countless places all over the U.S., but this was THE BEST chocolate milkshake Ive ever had in my 50 years on this earth. Game, set, and match. Well done, Red Horse Diner. Well done. Ill be back.

Very colorful creative restaurant. Loaded with old signs for Mobiloil and other auto and nostalgic advertising . Great spot for familys to dine. Ice cream shakes and Americana fare is main feature. Huge menu to page thru. Not fast food . I ordered the bacon burger with sweet potatoes fries. It finally arrived looking good . The burger was way overlooked. I battled thru it instead of sending back. Wasnt worth it.

This isnt right off the interstate, so Ive missed it on other trips through Ellensburg, Washington. The Red Horse Drive- In is a full service restaurant with a large menu of typical type drive in items. Portions were large, service was friendly and the place was extremely clean. There was friendly service from the sisters that run it, I had a delicious charbroiled hamburger and steak fries.

Food was really excellent! Decor was super cool! Service was neither. When we asked for a box, we heard them mocking us from the other room. We dont really know why the servers did not like us. Was it that we were out-of-towners? That my friend was brown? That we asked for napkins?? That we didnt go up to the register to pay because we were waiting to ask for a box??? We just dont know.

Delicious burgers and shakes!!! Im picky about burger meat quality and they make a fantastic burger. Had my first burger with a fried egg. Feel like Ive missed out on deliciousness all of my life. Theyre banana milkshake was DELICIOUS!!! Banana is a hard flavor to make taste good and they did a great job. Our waitress was really cute too.

We eat here pretty often...service is consistently good, and food is consistent. It is a burger place, but the real attraction is the fun 50s theme to the restaurant. As a Rte 66 buff, I just love the décor here. Food is average priced, in my opinion. We eat out a lot...I never have thought of this place as overpriced.

My family drives through Ellensburg every weekend for soccer games in Seattle, and we ALWAYS stop at this little diner on the way down and back. The burgers and delicious, the fries are perfectly crisp on the outside, the people are super friendly and personable, and the entire diner just has a homey feel.

This business has a great atmosphere. If you like the old route 66 dtuff, then you will enjoy all of the signs. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, there is a nice selection of different burgers, and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

Server was knowledgeable about the beers on offer and my beer came with a great frosted glass, a nice touch that I didnt expect here. Burgers are homemade style - light, tasty and satisfying. Great onion rings and steak fries. Very glad we came here.

Solid place for some breakfast food. The decor alone makes it an interesting place to stop. I had the ham steak which simple straight forward. It was a delight in a world now a days where everything is loaded with something on it.

1950s road side diner. Tattooed waitstaff, old-school burgers & shakes, heart attack but amazing onion rings - like really freakin good. Will go back if Im over there.

Most classic burgers in town in my opinion. The steak fries are a huge bonus. Place is a little run down, but a 1950s feel, right off the highway. Easy to find.

Old school diner with walls covered in memorabilia. Burgers are good and the staff is friendly. Shakes are so thick you cant get them through a straw

A journey into the past. Remember the roadside burger joints with hand made ice cream shakes, road signs with personality, this is the place.

Pretty pricy Burger. 30 bucks for 3 burgers come on. I know why they can afford all the decor
