I rate most Red Robin locations 4 or 5 stars. NOT so with this Red Robin in Lakewood, WA. It started out okay. I was seated, and my lunch order was taken in a timely manner. But then, the food never came. I waited and waited and was considering just walking out and eating somewhere else. But then I noticed that from my vantage point in the bar area, I could see four or five meals waiting under the warming lights. I dont know how long they had been there before I noticed them, but I watched them for at least 5 minutes before a server picked one of them up and brought it to me. My burger did have the extra onions I had requested, but both the burger and the fries were barely warm. (And the serving size of fries on my plate was pitiful.) But I was very hungry and already behind schedule so I ate them. Two of the other meals continued to sit under the lights for a few more minutes before they were served to a couple sitting a few tables away from me. The woman noticed something wrong with her order as soon as it was served. While I was eating I was not approached about a refill for either my steak fries or my drink. When I was finished eating, I waited a few minutes for my check, then decided to hit the PAY button on the tables electronic do-hickey even though I had planned to pay cash. It showed me the total cost of my meal that came close to $14.50 so I put a $15 cash on the table and walked out. If this had been my first Red Robin experience, I would probably never eat at one again. Luckily, most of my other Red Robin experiences have been excellent. Lakewood Red Robin will never see me again though.

This used to be our favorite Red Robin (and it is the closest to our home) but the service just keeps getting slower and slower. The last time we went, we were ignored for more than 20 minutes until my husband flagged down a waitress. She had walked right by us numerous times but wouldnt even look our way. Yes, it was busy, but not horribly busy. And she could have spent 5 seconds giving us a smile and saying she would be with us as soon as possible, but she didnt even do that. Then she finally asked if we were ready to order, but she had never bothered to give us a menu - and had the nerve to act irritated that we didnt know what we wanted. Then, when we placed our order and asked about my husbands free birthday burger, she said their Royalty system was down and he couldnt have his free burger. If that was true, they should have posted a notice so customers could know before they were even seated. Weve been going to this location since they opened, but we wont be going back. The manager didnt even bother responding to our letter. Ive done reviews as a Mystery Shopper for 11 years, and have rarely had service this bad.

Went there today(8-10-15) around 1pm the reason I know the exact time because I checked before we sat.The hostess isnt friendly at all not smiling and not friendly she made me feel like we were bothering her.Waitress came to our table didnt introduce herself just asked if we want something to drink.We ordered our food and drink at the same time(1:05).I was facing the kitchen so I can see whats going on in there.I asked if she can bring my sons food(kids chzburger)1st if its ready so she did but his burger was cold.My food(chicken caesar wrap) have been sitting there from 1:15-1:31 (yes I was checking the time) the wrap is already getting dry.Our fries were a little cold and not once we were asked if we want refill for our "Endless" fries..Will never come back here or recommend to my friends and Family.Suggestion,get a food expediter so the food is not just sitting on the heat lamp.We didnt bother to let the waitress or manager know because I dont want to wait longer for my food or to think I just want free food plus I was starving so I just sucked it up

Possibly the worst Red Robins experience ever. Bottom line up front: terrible service. Ordered our burgers and asked it to have it cut in half for m kids and myself. Mine were cut but kids were not. Strike one. Wife asked blue cheese on the side and came on the salad. Strike 2. The bottomless fries? Forget it. By the time I asked for refills on the fries I almost ate my whole burger and waited ten minutes for, not kidding, five fries. Garlic bread didnt come with my wifes salad. Asked for it and didnt come for another 15 minutes after the salad was finished. Had to remind the waitress again. The waitress was not rude but just not present or competent or checking on the tables at all. The portions also were so small I was googling a fast food joint because I didnt want to wait 15 minutes for another fries refill. I stopped counting strikes. Very disappointed and will not be coming back.

Im so sad to say that it was the worst experience weve ever had at a Red Robin and we are frequent visitors at many restaurants whenever we road trip. We had a wonderful server named Shasta on our way up to Anacortes in march and hoping to have the same great experience we have known to have there, stopped on our way south. Awful. The entire staff was grumpy. Our server Nicole whom we shared a laugh with (same names) at first was friendly, then we didnt see her or talk to her. At all. Even as she saw that we were leaving. We didnt ask for any special orders, requests. Nothing. So, we were surprised and very disappointed in absolutely no contact with her. None of the staff asked if we were doing ok, or needed anything.. Very disappointing. We will not stop there again. Shout out to Shasta who made our familys experience a great one!

Waited a long time for the food considering it was dead inside the dining room. Finally get our food. My dinner is wrong, and my husbands is just barely warm. They take my order back. I get back another plate within 3 minutes. Which seems weird....cause shouldnt it take at least 10 for a fresh, hot new plate? Get my second plate. And its COLD. Cold to the touch like they had it sitting in the fridge. At that point I gave up and decided Id rather take the refund. After getting our server (who hasnt checked on us but ONCE) and the manager over, they say theyll comp out entres. By this time youd think theyd put more hustle in their step. Incorrect. Waiting at least another 15 minutes for our check. Very very disappointed. Especially since that took an hour and a half of our time and Im leaving hungry.

I usually love coming here,but recently the staff isnt as productive and fast like they used to be...Many tables,chairs and under the table are dirty with garbage left over.I dont remember the last time I was greeted at the door when coming in.The food is amazing,but plate presentation shows that they dont really care what it looks like.And their dishes arent fully cleaned.I ordered a Coke and food was dried and caked on the inside of the cup.The Tacoma Red Robin stays on top of their service,cleaner,and actually greet people at the door,and havent had food debris in my drinking glass. The server for my onion rings also decides to go to the bar with me sitting in font of him and take a shot of beer before giving me my food...Since when is it OK to drink while working?!?!?!?
