For a walk up "counter service" Mexican dining spot this place hit the spot for both flavor and service. They deliver to your table once your order is complete. I will be back. They have a "happy hour" ( no liquor served that I saw?) between 2-5 pm. Their fried pork (carnitas) and their chicken (seasoned meat) tacos are 99 cents during happy hour. I am from Texas, I like street tacos on corn tortillas with pico de gallo and these are the main reason I will definitely return. I may start a daily tradition of an early taco dinner due to these. Yummo. Purely good stuff. My daughter had a Chipotle Burrito with chicken. I didnt try it but it was probably a foot long and looked very filling. She enjoyed every bite. Free chips and condiments with your order. Clean interior and great location.

Love this place. Their breakfast burritos are ridiculously good. 3.99 for a giant burrito filled with eggs, hashbrowns, meat, and cheese. The tacos are stuffed with meat, they have a free chips with your meal, and a salsa bar with super good pico de gallo. The service is always fast and friendly. Update: I have yet to have a bad meal here. Huarache, Chile Relleno, sweet corn tamales, burritos... All really, really good. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Found this place randomly one day...only about a mile from where we live. My husband and I are now obsessed and come here at least once a week (sometimes more). We are from Arizona and were having trouble finding a really good Mexican place to rival whats down there and this comes pretty dang close. Huge fan. We will be back many, many more times! :)

We often visit for lunch as our office is right around the corner. IT IS THE BEST !!!! Not only is the food high quality but the price and service. The ladies that work there are such sweet girls, and they give top service. If you havent tried El Sabor, you need to go. It will become a favorite. I love the fish tacos !!

This was an excellent Hispanic restaurant. The fully cooked food with amazing customer service made this place one of new places to dine in. The price are cheap, but the food is so awesome. Im new in town, so this is a big deal because out of all the food places Ive dined in at, this one takes the cake.

Looks like a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place on the outside, but the menu is excellent...lots of options (more like a real Mexican restaurant, NOT a Taco Bell) including street vendor style tacos. Decent prices. Enjoyed the chip bar with a variety of salsas. Very popular with locals.

Its quick, its decently priced, and its always still managed to stay warm for when I bring it home to eat. Ive tried replicating what they do in my own kitchen but their flavors is their own and so Ive given up on my own burritos and just order out from those that do it right.

Being from California, Ive loved all the food options up here in Tacoma, EXCEPT Mexican. Thankfully, after finding this place, I can finally get my Mexican food kick properly satiated once again. Great, inexpensive meals. Nothing fancy, just the basics, which is all I need.

Delicious carne asada tacos and spicy pork. I loved them. Will be coming back for more. The chips were a little stale for me. Horchata was a really bad powder mix. But those tacos made me. I also got beans and rice was super happy with that too.

If you stop at taco Bell this close to 89¢ tacos slap yourself. This place has great high budget Mexican food for family restaurant prices. Highly recommend the burrito Colorado. Stop going to taco Bell and come here. You will thank yourself.

Mexican food is often worse the further north of the border you go. After living in San Diego for 6 years, Ive missed the taco shop So Cal flavors, but this place hit the spot. If they add carne asada fries to the menu, Ill be home again.
