WORST AND I MEAN WORST costumer service ever. I go in and place an order to go for my mother, fiancé, and I for lunch . I HAVE NEVER been so discriminated against, Just because I dont look Korean doesnt mean I dont know how to order their food. I wasnt greeted when I walked in the door, I got starred at like I was some sort of animal, as I was placing my order to their surprise I ordered everything that I wanted without look at their menu and I said what I wanted correctly, the lady proceeded to give me attitude. As she was ringing out my order one of the items that I ordered wasnt priced correctly, so I asked her why there was a $10 price difference on the item that I ordered that the menu stated something totally different, so I asked her to take that item off and I ordered something else. She acted like I just ruined her whole day but changing one of my items that I ordered. She acted like I was the biggest inconvenience of her life. To top it off their food is horrible. A little surprise for them, dont judge a book by its cover. Im quarter Korean myself and I was raised on their food. I know for a fact if I were to go in with my Korean grandmother I wouldnt have had all the issues that Ive had today.

We went for Korean BBQ, and this place was a whole lot of fun. The wait staff were helpful and friendly, and the meats were fresh and tasty. The selection of banchan was huge, and they were more than happy to fill you up on anything you ran out of. Unlike some places, they bring the meat to your table after you chose the selection, so though its not all you can eat, we left positively stuffed. You can have a fun two-person meal, and they also have very large tables with multiple grills that would seat huge groups. The other side of the dining area is more like a normal Korean restaurant, I assume.

The food was great, experience was cool BUT the worst service I have ever experienced personally. I go to a new restaurant nearly every night considering I work out of town alot. When asking for more food after our first plate the waitress rudely demanded we finish what we have first. Her patience was also very short with other customers as well. After paying she put her hand out and literally said "Wheres my tip?" I was absolutely appalled. The food portions were good and flavor was great but the service was absolutely piss poor. 2 stars.

Great service, mediocre taste, fun on its own. Menu tried: BoSsam, WooGeuJiGook, NaengMyeon. Impression: so so... I would be happy if the price was a bit lower or the taste was better. Lol Now, their specialty is a direct fire grill which we did not try therefore I have not had their best dish. Hopefully I get to try them next. Menu has the list of what you expect from a mid size Korean restaurant.

Tired of waiting around and all the hassle across the street at the Palace? We were after over 40 min of waiting, so we walked across the street took a shot in the dark at Chung Ki Wa and had an authentic Korean BBQ at the table meal. Portions are great, we could have ordered less and still been full. Korean friend also gave it a good rating.

My partner and I have deemed Chung Ki Wa as our favorite restaurant ever. Seriously, we eat here at least twice a month. The food is DELICIOUS. Atmosphere is great, very clean, and cozy. The staff is so nice and happy to help review the menu with you. When we decide to go out for a nice dinner, its always Chung Ki Wa.

I took my family to this restaurant . The good is delicious. The price is reasonable. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is one of the top four Korean BBQ restaurants in Tacoma and Lakewood areas.
