I wish I had read the reviews before going to the restaurant. My husband and I had never been to a Red Lobster before and after our experience we wont go to the Federal Way Red Lobster again. We had been given a gift card and we wanted to try it as neither one of us had ever gone. I thought I forgot the gift card and instead of leaving we decided to go ahead because we were there. My husband ordered the hand battered fish with the fruit and I ordered the Parmesan encrusted Tilapia with the dinner salad, baked potato and broccoli. Our waitress was very inattentive. We had to ask several times for lemon for our water, my husband saw her wipe her nose and the place in general didnt appear clean. My husbands fish didnt have much flavor and the fruit tasted a bit off to me. I ate the dinner salad, some of the broccoli and some of the potato. When I ordered the fish it sounded good because I anticipated a light crusted breading, that wasnt what came there was so much cheese under the crust it seemed like there was no fish. I tried to eat the fish but after three or four attempts it was so greasy it made my stomach queasy. I sent the food back and the waitress asked if I wanted something else or a piece of fish by itself. I declined as I had lost most of my appetite. That was when I tried a piece of fruit my husband had and it tasted a little sour. I tried one or two of his french fries and they had little to no flavor I even tried another bite of the biscuits. ( Which were very tasty and probably the best item) By that time I was done I had no appetite. When the waitress brought the bill I found the Tilapia was still on the bill. When you send the majority of the food back isnt customary to take something off the bill, but in this case it wasnt. I wasnt expecting to have the whole bill dismissed, that isnt what we do. We do expect good service and food and when we dont get it we WONT spend our money here.

I had an interview at 2.15pm with Erika. I was prompt by being there at 2pm. The host at front told me he will tell Erika I am here. 10 minutes has passed. A manager came by, greeted me and told me Erika will be in a few minutes as she was not in. I waited among others in the wait area. Its now 2.45pm and Erika is no where to be seen. No one had given me information about why this wait had exceeded 30 minutes when my interview was scheduled at 2.15pm. I left the restaurant at 2.45pm as I had to get to school. At 3pm I received an email stating I was denied for the position that I didnt get interviewed for. I had taken this interview rather seriously. I was prompt and I waited 45 minutes which is more than I should have. The occurance of this event is unprofessional and profound. I had high expectations for Red Lobster. Erika, you should be terminated.

I had very high expectations based on my previous experiences and the new ad campaing. Red lobster- Federal Way, WA Visited on July 2. - I had Lobster and Bourbon Shrimp and Scallops- It was not that great.it tasted more like food re-heated in a microweave - My hubby had- Chesapeake Shrimp with Crab Butter- not good either- taste very simple- My friend- had fresh troup-fish- it was Great. - Garden salad- was awful- looked like a package salad from the supermarket - As others have described the atmosphere and food since more like a dennys restaurant. Service: Waitress- did not bring to table utensil for crab, we had to asked several times for missing items. When the staff came to clean up after the salad, they took my hubbys utensils-(fork & knife) He was left with nothing. I like red lobster a lot, so, I will try another location next time.

Horrible we ordered crab lobster and artichoke dip for an appetizer and it was straight from the microwave with a layer of grease on top we sent it back they replaced it with the clam strips wich were completely rubbery for our meal I order the 4 course feast with a fresh garden salad good, new England calm chowder straight out of a can and watery, shrimp and scallop Alfredo that was not an Alfredo it had straight milk instead, and of course the boxed caramel cheesecake. My other half ordered the create your own combination with steamed snow crab legs I cant believe how stale they were they precooked and froze them I was shocked when the manager told me who does that, and the shrimp linguine Alfredo with the same skimpy sauce as mine worst meal ever

The worst customer service Ive ever seen in the restaurants. The waitress including the manager didnt allow us as parents to share the meal with my kids. We ordered the 2 endless shrimp meal choice for adults and 1 pizza for the kids and so I was told that I cant share anything with my kids (kids only have to eat pizza and me and my husband the full 2 meals that we orders) otherwise I cant have the extra shrimps deal @ the end. The waitress was watching me eating to ensure herself that we arent sharing food. We end up paying $80 and no sharing. The manager and waitress need to be fired!!!!! And customers have to be aware!!!

Went on an interview today. Met with the manager Pablo. After careful assessment of my qualifications, and answering his questions, I was told the same day I wasnt qualified for the servers position. I didnt understand why. He stated I needed three years experience in serving, I have five years in restaurants and customer service work. I could not understand. When applying the application nevertheless mentioned needing three years experience. Was it because I did not look young enough or other wrongful discrimination. I hope he did not discriminate on me for my phenotype. Wrongful acts.

I was just getting food to go from my xmas present gift card. The waitress behind the bar was wonderful as I didnt want to go over my 50 limit. I was however a little disappointed with the food....I felt it was not as "cared" for when ordered to go. Our tacos were just thrown together, the lobster dip was very cold (yes I did get it to go but literally 5 minutes travel time). The chips were so scarce with what looked like the bottom of the barrel. Ordered another appetizer but was so unimpressed I actually forgot what it was. Just not happy with this one. :( Ps. went to the Federal Way location.

The food was fantastic, the server was a sweet heart. The problem i had, was with the manager. We had to wait an hour and a half to be seated because there was not enough staff. Yet half the restaurant was closed off. A good manager would be busting their ass waiting and busing tables along side his team. But this guy just walked around with his thumb up his ass "supervising" while his team is overwhelmed doing their best to provide a good experience. Making a longer then necessary wait for me and my party. A great leader works for his/ her employees, not the other way around.

This resturant has been here over 30 yrs...Ive been going for 26! The staff has changed and the food choices too over that time, and every now and then, a slight change in the interior, but service has been average to good. You can still get pretty good seafood, without breaking the bank, unless you want Huge Lobster...Below avg bar availability, but consistant in standard national offerings... Steak has been better in taste lately, good! Over "tenderized" in the past...good deserts...especially key lime pie seasonally... Enjoy...
