My first meal after fasting for 11 days straight because I fell ill and spent the night in the emergency room. We stopped here on our way home from the hospital because I really wanted some Pho but we couldnt find a Vietnamese place. The did have soup so I opted for the Thai beef noodle soup to go with an order of gyoza. My wife had a meat and vegetable dish, I cant remember which one sorry and she ordered it at a level 3 spicy. She said that it wasnt spicy at all and my soup was very very bland with hardly any flavor. You would think that after not eating any food for 11 days that almost anything would taste great but not in this case. The gyoza was good however and the dipping sauce they gave me was probably the best part of the whole meal. We got our food to go I cant attest to the actual restaurant and my wife just ran in and got the food so Im not sure about the staff either. There were no complaints about them from my wife so Ill go out on a limb and say that the service was decent. I doubt that Ill ever go back and eat a meal inside now that I know how bland the food is. Its pretty far out of the way so as a traveler, you probably wouldnt even be near this place unless say, relatives of yours that you might happen to be staying with on your journey live nearby. I definitely wouldnt make it a point to seek this place out just for a meal on your vacation. Thanks for reading. Update: 2.19.16 One of the owners of Basil Thai contacted me both here on Yelp and on Facebook. (Nearly every review I post goes out in triplicate to Yelp, Trip Advisor and Facebook). She was apologetic about the flavor of our food and offered us a refund and asked us to let her cook for us again. As a customer, I really respect this and admire her courage to reach out. I declined the offer for a refund as I did eat the food but I wrote back and told her that I will make it a point to give Basil Thai another try and that I will ask for her and introduce myself so that she knows who I am. The other reviews from Yelpers are really good so maybe my tastes are just vastly different. Either way, they have earned another visit from me and I will share again after I make that happen. This is my favorite place for pad thai and fried rice in Fed. I want to try their curry and desserts but havent gone around to that yet. They have a fairly big menu, and they cater to vegetarians and those who request gluten free food. I always order to go, I love the staff theyre Friendly. Sweet. Always remember me. (Only been there 4 times) . 1st time I went and they were short on staff and they let me know before I placed my order that I might have to wait a little longer than their norm. I appreciated that cause everyone hates waiting hungry lol. Anyway awesome place. Good flavor. Favs: pineapple fried rice and tofu pad Thai

Big Thai taste in little town. I love their Crispy Garlic Chicken, very good other than the fact your breath smells like garlic after eating it. Im married so I really have no one to impress, she ate some too. The Panang Chicken Curry is very coconut creamy. Its legit, in fact, too legit to quit. I ended up eatin the whole thing. I love it long time in my mouth. This is the best Thai food in town. We did 2 spicey out of 5. I like it hot, the wifey likes it hot everywhere else other than in her mouth.

I went there for the first time and they forgot my cucumber salad. I called and let her know that she forgot so she said next time I come in just let know. 3/19 I ordered again and mentioned. My cucumber salad she remembered who i was. so i pick up my food. And cucumber salad come home and open the salad and literally 2 spoon fulls of salad talk about being ripped off. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I would give it a zero star rating. If i could.

I wentice for lunch and it was completely empty. The food was bland and runny. The server sat on her butt behind the counter and never ONCE came to see how we were doing or if we needed water refills, which we did. This is the 3rd and final time I have tried this place. I will not be a return customer. I am disappointed because it is so close to home.

Dropped in just after they opened. Good service, food was excellent. Im no expert on Thai food or authentic thai, but their dishes had excellent flavor. The old standard Pad Thai noodles were not too sticky (some places it comes out as large lump....) and perfectly firm. The curry was tasty.

I saw a Thai restaurant opened nearby so I decided to try it. The portions were generously large and pad thai was overall good but a little on the extra bean sprouts. They were kind enough to deliver my food to me as I was a couple of doors down from them. I would recommend you try this location.

Fast friendly service. Clean pleasant atmosphere. This was my first time here and I was not disappointed. Had my favorite, Pad Thai! Glad I only went with a 4 out of 5 on the spicy, this was enough to bring a tear or two to my eyes. Lol Id certainly come back.

Ordered the lunch special with spicy beef. The service was good, but the food was disappointing. The beef was tough and overcooked and the sauce was runny. Not much flavor.
