If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When I went to pick up my order it was wrong. I wanted them to fix it but instead the girl who took my order wanted to argue with me for 15 minutes about how the order was right and I was wrong. All I wanted was for her to fix it but she insisted that the order was right and I was wrong. I didnt want to argue I just wanted my food. $10 later after I paid $60 already (for 3 people) I got the order fixed. The girl was clearly in the wrong but she wouldnt take any responsibility and insisted on arguing with me instead of fixing the order. Ive never been to a place where they wanted to argue over an order. Obviously they didnt value or even want my business. They went out of their way to make me feel like I was doing them a disservice by ordering food from them. I told them that I wouldnt be returning to their restaurant and I would be giving them a poor review online. All they had to say to that was "fine". Im suprised theyre still in business with their attitude. I wouldnt be leaving this review and I may have been visiting their store again if they had just fixed my order without making me argue with them.

Used to come here much more often, but over the last 12 months, my wife and I noticed a downward trend in the quality of both food and service. Things like waiting time to get served (despite number of other patrons), not getting offers to refill our water glasses, temperature of food ordered, etc. As such, weve only gone a few times in the last two months. Did a call-in order yesterday, and I wish I hadnt. When I got home, I found that two of the three entrees I ordered were NOT what I had ordered. I was going to call and complain, but thought better of it. This will be the last time I go to Golden Phoenix.

The food was quick but you can tell some was already prepared and waiting to be ordered. The service was bad, had to flag down a waiter to put in order, never refilled the drinks and not very kid friendly (they put hot plates in front of a 1 year old). Overall the food tasted pretty good but I wouldnt go out of my way to to visit again.

Some of THE worst food we ever tried to consume. The vegetables were over cooked and mushy, and the rest of the dishes were very salty with no recognizable flavor other than salt. We tried to speak with the owner about how dissatisfied we were, but he turned out to be verbally abusive and hostile. We wont be going back.

The waitress was rude, the food was bland and dry, they didnt give me the wontons that came with my lunch special, and I sat at my table for a solid 10 minutes before the waitress came and talked to me. The only saving grace is that the tea was a nice touch. Find another place if youre looking to get satisfying Chinese.

Me and my bf always come here. I get the #11 which is the kung pao chicken and he gets the #13 General Chicken. Mine is just the right amount of spice always and his well he said it was a little piece of heaven lol. tweet our server last time was extremely friendly but everyone is the same way there

everyone tells me the bbq pork here is the best so I just had to try it, its delicious. Me and my husband also got the general chicken and beef and broccoli those were excellent as well. Service was prompt and water was filled again and again. 1st time customers and will be back.

My fellas favorite Chinese restaurant lunch or dinner!! We dine here about once every other month. We always get egg flower/hot & sour soup, the chicken teriyaki sticks, beef Chowfun noodles, pork fried rices and sweet sour chicken. Always so good!! Fast and friendly service!!

I ordered take out. The food is overpriced. It was already luke warm by the time I got home and I only live 5 minutes from the restaurant. The food is bland and could use a little salt and pepper. Tonight was my first night ordering food from them and I wont be going back.

Wired 20 mins to get a table with several open tabels available. Most patrons did not have food yet. When we were getting seated the guy at the cashier made a favce and several times mouthed "no" to the gal seating us. So rather than stay and be treated like crap we left.

I was expecting typical strip mall Chinese food. What I got was unexpectedly better. We ordered the scallops in garlic sauce, almond chicken and Kung Pao Beef. Each was very good. Service was excellent on a slow night. Well definitely be back to explore the menu.

I love the general tsos chicken here. It is addictive. I keep coming back because I cant find it like this anywhere else. Also theyre hot and sour soup is the best Ive ever had. Ive tried to get the recipe several times. Its pretty cheap too 7 bucks for lunch.

This is the top chinese restaurant on our list. There are just some things nice about this restaurant. The layout is open and very clean. The prices are very reasonable. The food is typical chinese style. Everything is fresh service was great

Love this restaurant. Food always good! But twice now have had the craving for their lunch and they are not open. Doors says they open at 11. Sat there for 15 minutes again today so signs of life inside. Was very bummed out!

THE BEST!! We drive from Lake Tapps JUST for their BBQ pork! You will not regret coming here... Everything is very good but our faves are the BBQ pork, chix and string beans, and Mongolian beef. DO NOT MISS OUT!

The Golden Phoenix is AMAZING!!! One of the BEST Chinese restaurants in the state. The service is great and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. We drive all the way from Puyallup to dine here.
