Having lived in Issaquah for three years, I thought it was time to visit the Outback for the first time. Boy, what a mistake. The first thing I noticed when entering the restaurant was an overwhelming odor of cleaning products and... cheese? Yes. It smelled like cheese. Like cooked cheese, as one might find on a quesadilla. Odd. This is a steakhouse, yes? Next, I saw that Outback has, at least at this location, installed table-top POS devices. This is the second time Ive encountered these. The first time was at Red Robin. Damnit. These devices really wreck the dining experience for me. They basically turn the wait staff into nothing more than conveyances. You know what? Why not just get rid of them altogether, and I can fetch my plate from the kitchen directly. Rubbish. Finally, the food. I ordered the 10oz. Ribeye, mid-rare. MEDIUM RARE RIBEYE. So easy not to screw up. When the drone brought my food some 20 minutes later, I was shocked to see a NY strip. From the crust, it looked at least mid-well. Cutting into it, I discovered it to be well-done. So, you dolts, you brought me the wrong cut, and you overcooked it. Dont eat at this restaurant. If youre in Issaquah, go to Jaks or Flat Iron instead.

When using the Call ahead seating you must insist on a table with chairs or the incompetent hostesses will rudely tell you, your party must wait an additional 25minutes because they didnt write down that your party must have chairs. The hostesses are unprofessional, rude, and have a bad attitude when you kindly remind them of this fixable error. The only redeemable aspect is the waitress and our waitress Monique was wonderful. She understands whats dining out means. Monique was gracious, attentive, warm and knowledgeable of food, and drinks. She made our dining out experience a great one. If it wasnt for Monique I would have taken our party to the Thai food place located in the same shopping area and had a better hostess. Please, please Outback, train your hostesses better to handle high volume, stress, and politeness with customer service.

Didnt have a great experience here tonight. The server didnt really know the menu very well, and I was better at using the ordering tablet than he was. I ordered a chicken dish, and after being unable to find it after searching on the tablet for a minute, he ran off to the kitchen. I picked it up after he left and was able to find it in 10 seconds. Five minutes later he comes back and says they are all out of chicken. The entire restaurant was out of chicken and prime rib on a weeknight. I switched to a pork order that was hot and tasty when it arrived, and my server was a nice guy, but it seems like management here needs to properly train the employees and learn how to stock a kitchen.

Nice waiter... too bad nice doesnt taste good. We had a party with reservations, so they knew how many and what time. 1 waiter for a table of 13. There was a 15 minute gap between the delivery of our dinner orders! Thats a first for me. The prime rib was right out of the refrigerator. Weirdly cold. Tasteless filet mignon if really a filet. Blooming onion? You mean batter with a splash of onion? Management problem no doubt! Thanks Outback for a slow, cold, yukky birthday! Wish we had good memories of this birthday party that only happens once in a lifetime. Get it together!!!! I gave one star because I had to.

First, our greeter was not very friendly. He tried to shove my family into some corner of the restaurant away from the rest of the customers. It was not busy. We had to request to be seated elsewhere to watch the game and be around other people. I dont know if it was because we were the only Asian family but frankly it was upsetting. The food was edible but nothing amazing. They remodeled fairly recently though and I appreciate the modern decor and dim lighting. The only reason this place is getting a decent review is because the waiter was so kind to us. Wont be back anytime soon.

Went here for the steak and lobster... Twice. Bread was good, salad was good, lobster was great. For a place with steakhouse in the name you would expect them to get steak right.... Wrong. Ordered rare steak both times and got medium or medium well. Had to send it back both times. Only reason I gave an extra star was the manager came out with the steak to make sure it was rare this time. I suspect they left mine under a heat lamp instead of cooking it one of the last. They fixed it, but wasnt what I expected.

I would rate the Ribeye steak as a 1 out 5. 10 ounce was like eating skirt steak for a fajita. My wifes Prime Rib was poor as well. Spent 70 bucks for two dinners and two drinks. Eat at a burger joint rather than spending money at this joint. Service was so-so. Out of towners we were and we were taken to the cleaners. Loved our visit to Seattle, but this was our worst experience in the Emerald City. You live and learn like they say. Thunder from down Under is not at all like the commercials say.

We have come here several times, and we even get discounts because we won a contest for free outback for a year, the service is generally good except, one time the server charged us for a larger size, and insisted we ordered it when we didnt, then went and added on more to the bill :/ but generally, i LOVE the food, especially, the Alice springs Chicken, and the Cheese Fries. The food is however a bit overpriced.

This is one of the few restaurants that I have worked at and would still eat at. The menu is always dependable and the well-seasoned steaks are the best around for the price. IMO, the filet is worth the extra bucks and the kids mac and cheese is definitely my favorite recipe. If your on a diet, just dont read the nutrition info...you should just eat somewhere else.

Outback is good, but its pretty dumb they arent open for lunch. The Eastgate (Bellevue, WA) location is surrounded by a lot of huge corporations (t-mobile headquarters, AT&T Corporate, Gene Juarez Corporate) and other businesses they would make a killing for lunch and they only do it on Saturdays... Not smart...

I ordered a filet mignon and what showed up on my plate did not really look or taste like a filet mignon, although the waiter assured me it was a filet. For a $23 steak I was a little disappointed. Thankfully the manager was really nice and gave me a discount on the steak.

Never got my water I asked for. The waiter took about 25-30 minutes to slip up our checks and they were completely wrong multiple times. Forgot to ring in orders for some of our party. Absolutely terrible service.
