Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! My friends and I go here all the time for Lunch, and stop by for dinner when we are craving a good night out! I have tried alot of Chinese Restaurants, but this one has them all beat hands down-Totally worth the drive out there. The service is always prompt, sometimes they get busy for lunch but that is just because the food is so good. Dinner gets a little more pricy, but the portions and the quality are well worth it for Lunch or Dinner. You always get enough food, and plenty for leftovers. Their Potstickers are divine, Fried Rice is very tasty, and I highly recommend the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the Honey Walnut Crispy Chicken, Mongolian Beef, or the Kung Pao Beef. If you order it spicy, you will get SPICY. Great for a date or a work lunch, and especially with a big group of friends. We <3 you Szechuan Chef!!

Id give it a Zero Star but it wont let me. Where do I start... Authentic Chinese Cuisine? No It is not. First of all it tastes horrible, probably because the chef wears a hoodie and doesnt seem like he wants to work. Second we ordered Prawns and walnuts and got 6 small prawns and like a huge amount of lettuce... WE ORDERED PRAWNS AND WALNUTS NOT A SALAD, then we see the same dish being given to chinese customers with almost no lettuce and more huge prawns fried with new oil (We can tell yes), discrimination much? 3rd of all, Waiters run their hands through their greasy hair and serve us plates, appealing eh? Basically saying if I had the ability to give it a zero I would. Those looking for real chinese food and havent had it before, dont be tricked by these guys... - From A Dude That Had Enough And Wrote About It.

As regular patrons, tonights experience was exceptionally horrible. Normally, service is excellent, prompt, and courteous. Today, we waited thirty minutes before I was finally able to flag down a member of the waitstaff. After placing our order and waiting thirty more minutes, only half the food had arrived. After asking the waiter for our food, we got an excuse about a busy takeout evening. It was clear that the food had not yet been given to the chefs. The food arrived promptly after that. After leaving a smaller tip than normal, the manager asked us what was wrong. After attempting to explain several times, the manager continued to cut us off before shooing us out of the restaurant. Incredibly poor service after more than five years of patronage.

Excellent authentic Schezuan food. I had been looking for Chong Qing chicken (la zi ji) for a while, and this place has it. Best of all, its boneless! (For whatever reason, all the restaurants in norcal used bone-in chicken.) Nice level of spiciness, and interestingly they also had green beans in the dish. I also got the green onion pancake, which was awesome; crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with a delicious garlicky dipping sauce. Service was very fast and curteous, and prices were reasonable.

Had dinner today and the food was not cooked properly, the service was very bad and had to wait for more than 15 minutes to get someone to take the order. I waited for more than 20 minutes waving at any waiter I could see to get their attention to get any help to ask for the check. Was disappointed and surprised as well since the last two times I had been there for lunch I had excellent food and service. Not sure what happened today. Maybe I shouldnt consider going for dinner at this place I guess..

The food in this restaurant is great. Having a wife who is originally from Sichuan and having been there twice, I can tell that the food is the closest to authentic you can find in Seattle area (two other restaurants to check out are Bamboo Garden and La Sichuan). If you want fancy service, that might be not the place, but if you would like to enjoy really great Chinese food, go there.

Szechuan Chefs menu is HUGE and much of what weve tried is excellent. Weve also had some things we werent quite as thrilled with, and the challenge really is trying to identify the things that you enjoy from that huge menu. Prices are good and the value for your money is also good. The atmosphere inside is pretty mediocre. Really though, we go for the food, not the atmosphere.

This is a hidden gem in Bellevue near Main street and 148th. The food is reasonably priced and quantity is great. Though the food tastes good it is quite often greasy. So you should stick with non fried items instead of friend rice etc. The Egg drop soup bowl is a great deal for 7 $. The complimentary jasmin tea is also good.

Consistent dishes that are pleasant and tasty. On occasion fresher beans for example may give a 5 star day, but expect to be pleased and not blown away. People come for the food and not amazing decor, if you want expensive for no reason go to Bellevue downtown. Here youll find hot and spicy served with a side of fast.

First time visiting this place, Very good dining experience, venue is modern, clean and portions are large as well as taste very good, just one negative note waiter seemed to be a little distratcted and did not come by to provide water refill, this is necessary when dish is spicy other than that I will come back.

Update 12/16/2016 - the cooks have changed and the food is not the same any more, we have been coming here on trips to Seattle for 3 years, but in the last 2-3 months, it is not as good as it used to be. Time to find a new place :( Great authentic chinese food, some of the best in Seattle.

Hands down the best Chinese food on the east side. The portions are beyond generous and the food is just delicious. Highly recommend the crispy Mandarin chicken/fish, Mongolian beef, salt and pepper squid, and sesame chicken. Prices are super reasonable too and its a great option for catering

This is a very good place for Szechuanese food - I tried several in the Seattle area, and this is my favorite. Food is great, service is good, the place is very roomy and nicely decorated. Plenty of parking space. Very clean restrooms too. Nothing to complain at all!

Overall you can get a pretty decent value for money meal here. The food is not too fancy and some of the dishes are a bit bland, but some are pretty good. Dishes mark "3 peppers" spicy are only modldly spicy, so I would recommend going for that to most people.

This place is way better than Lao Se Chan in Chinatown. I like the clean environment and well trained waiter. The food quality here is better than any restaurant in Chinatown area. Recommend Cumin Lamb and Kong Pa Chicken.

We lived in Hong Kong for a year and still count this among our top 2 or 3 Szechuan restaurants ever. The young bamboo shoots are great as is the twice cooked pork and the hot pot is fantabulous.

The soup is good but everything else sucks. My broccoli and beef was cold. We ordered our food the same time and got our food in different times. This place sucks. Not going there ever again.

Food was OK. Service was not as friendly as it should have been with some dietary needs in the past, they seemed annoyed at our questions. Not the best in town, but not the worst.
