Taqueria El Antonjo is the most authentic Mexican food that I can ever remember eating! Now, seeing that I am asian, I can understand how you’d be skeptical. HOWEVER, judging from my neighboring tables occupied by Hispanic families happily devouring their Mexican favorites, you gotta give me some credit Every time I enter this restaurant, I’m delighted to see that at least half of the dining patrons are Hispanic. At the same time, I have never felt out of place while eating there. It’s a friendly, laid-back and clean environment. I admit that I usually order my regular chicken burrito (only $4.99!), but it’s a great bang for the buck and I can’t get enough of it! They fill it with perfectly spiced chicken and a good amount of refried beans. And don’t forget to enjoy the all-you-can-eat chips and salsa bar! The salsas taste so fresh and the bar also includes endless lime wedges, radishes, a delicious Mexican coleslaw-type cabbage, and other lightly pickled condiments. I admit that the salsas are all on the hot and spicy side, but even though my tongue burns with numbness after eating, I still love it! Every time I dine here I see the Hispanic patrons eating their favorite traditional dishes (that I have yet to venture out to try). I think they’d agree with me when I say that I honestly have NEVER been disappointed when dining at this branch and I can’t get enough of all of that goodness rolled up in a tortilla and the endless salsa bar!

I love the Business... The restaurant staff their has really disappointed me. I have ate here many times at this particular restaurant because it is very close to my house. I always eat here regardless of the service. I have complained to the point they are truly ignoring my wishes.. i know i know you are saying dont go there.. it is not the chefs... It is the Waitresses and waiters. If I was a Latino I would get the greatest service I seen this.. I went last nite 10/28/2015 at about 8:45 pm. I got our menus, Our water, our straws, clean silverware as well as refilled my husbands drink. It isnt right to treat people in that nature. All Customers are suppose to be treated with that Good customer service...Great food. Needs better management and wait staff need customer service training again.. I wanted to work there just because i love them but know they have thrown my application away these last three times.. lol oh well i dont know what will happen but i will keep being my own waiter.. i guess..

La comida está buena, pero demaciado cara, por ejemplo el plato de carne asada $20.00 dolares, la verdad los que tenemos un trabajo dónde ganamos lo mínimo no podemos darnos el gusto de gastar $50 o $60 por dos personas, porque es el plato más las bebidas más los tax, la verdad si es muy caro.

Whoever opened this place had a desire to be the best. The food is fresh/house made and amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the prices are awesome. Ive been coast to coast and everywhere in between and this is probably my favorite Mexican place. Menudo didnt have hominy which is weird, but it was the special for the day and maybe that had something to do with it. It was nearly half the price of other places.

This is the best store in the chain! The store is always immaculate and the tables are as extra as the staffs personalities, which by no means is a bad thing. If you havent had their California burrito, you are truly missing out on an experience of a lifetime.

I live in Arizona my whole life and since moving to Washington I have only found one place that has really good Mexican food and its here! There only downfall is the size sometime there isnt enough parking or Sears but man is it worth the wait!

Crispy fish tacos were terrific, as well as the full buffet of salsas and side dishes. All you can drink horchata. Would recommend the churros, which come with a delicious custard on the side, for dessert.

This is the best Mexican food in Tacoma. They make their own tortillas, the entrees are consistently delicious, and the pico de gallo is super. Their ingredients are fresh and their service is quick.

Corn tortillas cooked fresh right there on the order counter. The carnita tacos are my favorite. Best tacos I have ever had. I am moving out of state soon and wish I could take El Antojo with me.
