This place cant figure out what it wants to be, from the outside looking in youd think it was a racing themed pub, but then you walk through the doors and are just confused. There are 3 huge fridges scattered with 24oz micro brews, a bar, multiple picnic tables, a few stand up video games, and get this... a corner of the place is cordoned off for KIDS toys... KIDS TOYS!.. WHAT?!?.. a small ball pit and other toys... just sitting there on the ground.. ummm.. speechless. I was also amazed that the racing theme ended at the front door, nothing inside followed that theme except the name of a $15 burger and a toy on the odd mini mart fridges. Id be ok with all this (sort of) if the food was half as good as it looks, sadly it was not. A very small $12 bowl of mac & cheese was flavorless except for the bacon bits. Garlic feta fries were cooked in old oil, salt less, and I questioned myself if I could taste any garlic, all the food looked phenomenal, but came in without flavor. The only other patrons were in the "kiddy zone" and there was around a dozen or so parents and a half dozen or so rug rats running around continuously throwing ball pit balls towards the bar area with a parent in chase with a beer glass or wine glass in their hand. Every adult in this establishment had an adult drink, I hope they all had bus passes or uber apps. Unless youre a millennial hipster with a toddler or two, I definitely do NOT recommend this place.

Almost awsome. My husband and I came here in a reccomendation from some friends. We were told they had a kids play area and it was a great place for mom and dad to chat while the kids enjoyed the ball pit. We arrived and were happy to see a nice play corner with a close by table where we could keep an eye on them. We ordered appetizers and drinks and let our 2 yr old and 11 month old play. The 11 month old occasionally let out a squak of delight. Our very friendly waitress brought our food which was good. As we were eating the woman I presume to be the owner came out to say that she was sorry to sound rude but our children were be too loud (as I was just thinking how nice and quiet it was in here). She said, "Just as I allow dogs in here but u have to ask them to leave if they bark. Not that I would ask you to leave. I just want it to be a nice environment for everyone. Sorry I know that sounds rude no matter how nice I try to say it." Yes, you are right it sounds rude. You are complaining about my kids being being loud when clearly you have no idea what a loud 1 and 2 year old sound like. You equated the to DOGS they are people. People who are eating food we paid you good money for. As for the environment for others, there were 2 other customers in the place watching sports sitting well away who likely had no idea what were even there. I see why the B town blog said they are struggling.

I think "classy dive bar" is the only way to describe this place. Its lined with grocery store-style refrigerators full of craft beers and ciders, only serves craft beers and ciders (and some wine), and has a pretty amazing menu that changes quite often and always has gluten free options. All their beverages are available in flights of your choosing, so you can sample anything before committing to an obscure craft brew. Lamb burgers, pulled pork sliders, sweet potato fries, I think there was a truffle reduction something at one time... The owner is friendly and welcoming. I have never seen children in the kiddy area of the restaurant and may have seen a dog in the bar once, but I believe it was for a to-go growler pick up. The place is really clean and has a chill vibe. My friend and I were presently surprised to find the presidential debates on when we came in, which we had DVRed. It was cool to see the bar packed with people engaged in national politics - no one was complaining about the program selection, rather everyone seemed to be just watching and listening. Kudos to the owner for putting that on the tele. =)

The highlight of this place is its family friendliness. There is a play area for the little ones that is well maintained and has a childrens gate around it to keep them contained. All of the kids our 2 year old daughter has played with here have been well behaved and she absolutely loves coming here. Its a great way to be able to enjoy a few beers and let the kids run around and entertain themselves for a bit (or a few hours!) Cant say enough good stuff about this bar. From the outside it definitely looks a little bit like a dive and maybe even a little scary, but the interior is actually very nice and really clean. The staff here are incredibly friendly. The owner has talked to us on quite a few occasions and has always been incredibly polite. They have happy hour 7 days a week which is awesome. The happy hour food (albeit a bit greasy) is really tasty and the prices cant be beat. The beer selection is constantly changing and reasonably priced. The kegs are always fresh and Ive never gotten a bad brew here. Weve been quite a few times and will definitely be coming back.

Great bar! Excellent bottle shop!! Awesome owners and employees!!! This place truly is perfect. Since they have opened like 10 months ago, they have continued to improve what was already a great place. First it was a game room, then snacks, then a new outdoor patio, and now maybe a kitchen... I have seen and heard some comments in the past about the lack of selection in the fridges. What people DO NOT understand, is that it takes time to build up the fantastic selection they currently have in stock! Joey and John listen to their customers, and have a large variety of craft beers and ciders. And if there is something you want that is not in stock, they will try to special order it for you through their vendors. Bravo guys. Your efforts dont go unnoticed. Thank you!

I love this place! Particularly because theyre so dog friendly! They even have a dog menu! We got our pup a peanut butter and bacon flavored frozen yogurt. Happy hour from 3-6 and 9-close, with a dollar off taps and some delicious bites generously discounted. I loved the tots. My favorite brews on tap were the Georgetown crema coffee ale, and the incline rosé cider. They have a pool table and some board games on hand, a kids area, and pinball; a little something for everyone. Also, they gave me an "I ❤ Beerien" sticker! Our server Amy was a super star and overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back! Thanks pit stop tap room!

Everyone here is very friendly and inviting. And, they know their beer. Everyone working the bar has known at least something about the beers on tap, and they seem like theyve tried most of them. There are a number of taps, and the owner, Jon, selects the variety carefully, so theres always a good mix, as well as 2 or 3 ciders. Everything rotates, so youre not going to get bored of the selection. The happy hour food has been great. Well priced and tasty. Weve rented kegs and jockey boxes for very reasonable prices, and theyll special order anything they can get their hands on. Top notch neighborhood pub.
