Elliot Bay Brewhouse has two locations and the Burien one is by far the better of the two. Everything to like about the original in the West Seattle Junction is kicked up a notch here. The place is easily 4 times the size of the original. Where you often have to wait in a queue of strollers in West Seattle, the Burien location is a perfect place for big groups to stop in without reservations. Its also way cleaner, not as noisy and overall more comfortable. Ive been here several times over the years and have never had a bad experience. I went today for lunch and was surprised to find the place nearly full for a Monday. Being so spacious, it wasnt a problem getting seated. Our waitress was responsive and checked back often. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and my lunch mate got the Blackened Ahi Tuna Sandwich. They came crazy fast after we ordered, no more then five minutes! We couldnt believe how fast it was for as busy as they were. The menu says the Pulled Pork comes open faced, but it was served on a big Kaiser roll, and can be picked up and eaten without silverware. The BBQ uses their Porter and is spicy and sweet without being overly so. They didnt skimp on the Blackened Ahi Tuna Sandwich either. The piece of fish was huge for a sandwich. Id also recommend the Fish & Chips. They use their Luna Weizen in the beer batter. Often times, beer battered fish can get heavy, oily and over power the fish. Not so here. Its light and crispy and seasoned to perfection. You also cant go wrong with any of their burgers. All are solid bets and hamburger can be substituted for chicken or veggie patties. They also brew several beers onsite. I always gravitate back to the Luna Weizen, its their version of an American style Hefeweizen. There are monthly seasonal beers they brew as well, in addition to a rotating list of beers from other breweries. For beer nerds, bring in your growlers on Tuesday for 1/2 off.

I went here because of all the good reviews. I was mislead. The food was OK. Not good or bad, just ok. The service was NOT what I was told to expect. I had a waitress who hounded me, which IS marginally better than being ignored, and finally just ordered to make her leave. After the order I NEVER saw her again. My child and I both ran out of drinks, we couldnt get boxes, and she didnt even give us the check. We finally had to go up to the hostess, be ignored, and YELL for the check, as they were too busy chit chatting to acknowledge us. The prices? NOT reasonable. My half-pint house beer was $11.00. They also do not serve hard liquro, not sure why, but my husband prefers a tonic to my beer. Bottom line is I am pretty sure these reviews were written by staff. It is a yuppie wanna-be establishment that overcharges for house poorly brewed beer (if you enjoy micros, you will understand) and caters not to the people they would like but the people who pretend to like wine to seem "hip".

Food was awesome, the bar tender was pretty quick and the beer was fresh as can be. As for our service....the dude we had talked FAST but wasnt fast... he kept saying ill be back in a flash...well I read Comics and the flash is quick and accurate ..you sir were not. I would have given this a 5 star but not only was he not fast but neither was the line cooks. The food arrived kinda warm but not hot :( . I watched my server walk past my beer 3 times till i made eye contact and looked at him and then the beer ..he got the hint and grabbed it off the bar for me . to be honest i will be back next time i visit from florida and im almost positive ill have a 5 star experience. till then

Great brew-pub in Burien. I have been coming to EBB for about 3 years and have had almost nothing but positive experiences. The menu is great and the food is top-knotch as far as American fare goes. The inside is very spacious with nice hardwood. Youll see a bunch of familiar faces if you go a few times, theres definitely a local crowd here. I live 1 minute away from the West Seattle branch of EBB and I prefer driving the 20 minute commute to this Burien branch. The food and service is much better, Theres also Shuffle Board! You just need to give them an ID and check it out. They take really good care of the tables.

Great food, Great beer, Great people. The BBQ burger is amazing and the monthly specials they have here are something we make a point to visit for every month. Also, try one of the pretzels with mustard while you drink some fresh beer and wait for your main courses, the pretzel is an experience in its own right. Salads here are also worth mentioning, treat yourself to one. I think it is definitely worth mentioning that the kitchen here stays open a little later than most Burien restaurants. Gotta love a great meal after working a later shift.

First bad experience was when my husband got a toothpick that they had forgotten to take out of his food, so the roof of his mouth got stabbed with the tootpick. The 2nd bad experience was with a waitress who just basically ignored us--so needless to say, poor customer service. The 3rd really bad experience was when we ordered our favorite dessert which was the brownie sundae and I scooped out some ice cream, I got a piece of ham! That was just gross! We will NEVER go back to Elliott Bay Brewery in Burien!!!!!

I eat here roughly 4 days a week. I noticed some ignorant reviews, and wanted to leave an actual review. Im in love with this place for so many reasons... Almost everything is sourced sustainable. The menu is almost all unique dishes. (not the burger king flavor some people expect, it is actually real and amazing food, some people arent used to actual food) The brews are always awesome. The staff is so fun. if you care about what you eat, this place is freaking incredible. xoxo

I love Elliot Bay! The Food is always delicious, no matter what I try. The drinks are pretty good, especially the Coffee Stout on nitro, although in the past Ive tried a few beers that tasted a little "tinny". The bar can get pretty crowded at times, but even when they are Ive felt that staff are still helpful and attentive. They also have two shuffleboard tables for use for free, and I highly recommend getting a group of friends to play a game or two.

Good food tried almost all of the hamburgers there. Fabulous list of beers on tap. The service is fast and always gets the orders right. One of the only places I know in the area that also has shuffle board. Love having them located directly next to my office as well. Next time you stop in to Elliot Bay and feel like buying or selling home as well, stop on over across the street to the West and ask for Dustin Keeth at Windermere Real Estate.

One of our favorite places to go. Great food. Beer selection is awesome and they make some great special brews. We like their sweet potato fries with the two types of dips. Sweet cherry and a spicy aioli. Yum. Our other favorite is their steak salad. We feel comfortable bringing our whole family here. They are pretty kid friendly. Parking can sometimes be hard to find along the strip mall. We usually park along a side road instead.
