Came in with my girlfriend on a cold rainy day. Immediatly greeted by the host/server who was very friendly and helpful as we took our time to choose. Once we decided on the Chile and Turkey Avacodo Sandwhich to split we sat and watched sports on the big screen and listened to calm contemporary music. The chile was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. I quickly gobbled mine up and was ready for my sandwhich! Then it came and did not dissapoint. I even at the maccaroni salad and I dont even like maccaroni salad. This is a must try place for all and I will most definitly be coming back for more!

I stumbled into this homey little neighborhood bistro a few years ago while looking for a place to get a beer before a show at the Civic. I found the perfect place to get a good beer and even better food. The servers are very pleasant and even called ahead, without me asking, to make sure a local brewery would still be open before I stopped by when they overheard me mention I was concerned. To my everlasting delight they continue to deliver a pleasant atmosphere and delicious meal every time I visit, which is pretty often. I highly recommend the hot reuben on rye!

I accidentally stumbled upon this place when I needed to quickly answer some work emails and I was back within the week. It has coffee drinks, an extensive breakfast, sandwich and sausage menu, and 10+ beers on tap. The wait staff was noticeably friendly for San Francisco, and the ambience is adorable. They have ten bigger tables, a couch area and lots of bar seating. Plus their wifi is super fast! Its rare to find a place that works on so many levels, but Flying Pig is really pulling it off.

Cool little joint in the Mission. I walked in to visit my buddies lady (who had recently left, I didnt know) and it happened to be open mic comedy night. It was cool and funny. The food was pretty damn good and they have a good selection of tasty beers too. If you want something on the other side of Mission st, swing by and grab a beer.

Great beer selection at this cool cafe/bar. They have great TVs that always have Giants or other key games on. That said, they also feature live entertainment that is always worth checking out. The owners and staff are all friendly and cool. Great spot to have some beers, eats and catch up with friends.

I like the laid back atmosphere of this cafe. The food is relatively good but I mostly just go here to drink and hang out with friends. They have some comfy couches and chairs and along with the free wifi its a really nice place to work for a while during the day.

Flying Pig is a hidden gem in the Mission. Its a chill place to work during the day (good coffee and free wifi) and a fun place to hang in the early evening (3 big screen TVs with sports and an amazing array of tasty local craft beers).
