They may have the best Mexican food around but Ill never go back to find out. My wife and I took our 1 year old in there one evening to eat. We were not greeted by anyone so we assumed we just seat ourselves so we took the last table available. After 5min my wife got up and got us some menus. There were 3 women working there and one who was taking orders was standing by the front counter just watching the cook and waiting for her last order to come out while we sat for what was going on 10min without any service or acknowledgment that we were even there. We both just felt a very strange vibe from the moment we walked in, like we were just not welcome there. As I looked around I saw food on floor under just about every table, the high chair I grabbed for our child felt like it sat under a pine tree for weeks it was so sticky, and our table had some sort of haze laying coating the top. At the 15min mark I was watching another woman clean plates off a table as she took several to the back and when she returned for the others she had something in her hand that she was eating, probably something left by the people whos table she was cleaning. I looked back over to see where the woman who was taking orders was at and she was behind the counter cooking something up on the grill. I looked at my wife and said "Screw this, lets go" and we got up and went to Camino Real and had fantastic food and service. If youre looking for great Mexican food at a clean place that offers great service and plenty of seating go to Camino Real, that place is awesome. As for Delicias, that place is a joke.

Visite esta taqueria el servicio no es el mejor en el sentido de atendencia al cliente no son muy amigables y en cuestion de los tacos para un paladar exigente no son buenos en la carne asada los condimentos resaltan demasiado y la carne tiene una consistencia dura y chiclosa los del pastor mas bien paresen solo de chorizo y los de pollo no tienen sazon en resumen puedo decir que lo unico bueno que me parecio fueron las tortillas frescas preparadas ahi mismo de lo contrario mi experiencia con el sabor de los tacos no fue buena pero talvez otras cosas del menu lo sean tendre que volver para probar otros platillos.

Be prepared to wait, like a long time. The 3 times that Ive been Ive gone around 2-3pm and I have waited 30-40 minutes for a to-go order of 3 tacos. At a typical taqueria or meat market that would take about than 5 min, even in a small kitchen. On my most recent trip there were two tables that were already seated, and one was just getting chips & salsa 20 min after they had ordered it. When my order was ready I told the cashier that Id like to add some chips & salsa, and she made this dejected face, so I just said "never mind, dont worry about it." I thought they would of had chips & salsa bagged up near the register for that purpose. They had 5 people behind the counter & maybe 10 customers so I dont know why the wait is so long, could be they are slow or maybe poor management? Dont get me wrong, the food is good (not great), but isnt worth the wait. Maybe its because I lived in TX where taquerias are everywhere. Parking isnt good either.

Posting this because most of the other recent reviews arent very helpful. Its a definitely a hole in the wall kind of place, not an chain Mexican restaurant. Service is okay they are just there to take orders and bring the check (just wave one over). Honestly I got the impression they dont speak English very well. Theres only a few tables so I would recommend putting an order in and taking it to-go. Food wise its excellent authentic Mexican. Its not for people expecting typical chain restaurant food.

Walked in and the staff looked at us like we had no business being there. Didnt say a word to us even when they dropped off menus and then never came back to take an order. Dont know if we were supposed to order at the counter or what but no one offered us any help so we walked out. Very disappointed, was looking forward to trying their food because theyve had awesome reviews.

If you want American Tacos(bland) go to Taco Bell, if you want a real Taco, this is the place to be. I have only found two places that remind me of the street tacos I grew up on in Arizona, Delicias Mexicanas Cafe is the only one in Va. Check this place out with an open mind, and empty stomach, you will not be disappointed! BPayne

A small place that is hard to spot from the road. I had tacos, tamales, and a tostada. All excellent, the best Ive had in ages. It reminds me of good food in Guadalajara. The service is informal but good. They took good care of me.
