I have stayed quiet for quite some time now but I cannot stay quiet any longer. Last year (2016) I ate here early in the day (just after opening), in the winter months.. that night around 11:00 I experienced extreme nausea and vomiting. This only progressed to other symptoms and got worse and worse as time went by. I was sick for over a month after eating at this buffet... I didnt eat anything else that day except home cooked meals that have NEVER made me sick before or after the incident. During my sickness I lost 25 pounds, went to the ER 3 times, was on 5 different medications, and nobody knew what was wrong. The ultrasounds, CTs, and X-rays were no help in the diagnosis either. The best bet that the doctors had is that I had contracted a parasite.. this could have come from unclean hands or unsafe food care... between my sickness and the pictures of the "curing" meat that appeared to be cats and squirrels that were hanging behind the restaurant, that we all saw all over social media, I WILL NOT GO BACK HERE. I am sure that I am one of the very few, If not the only, that have gotten sick from here but, in the end; it was in the long run not worth the $4,000 that I payed and am still paying for a Chinese buffet....

My husband and I have been coming here for about 2 years. At first they were very consistent with everything. I really dont like to leave bad reviews but in this case I will. We ate here tonight and when we payed our bill the lady up front taking our payment said she would have to take our payment again. We asked her if it would double charge and she said "no". We pulled up our online bank app and she not only charged us twice but the first time she charged us $260.00 dollars for our meal through our bank card. The second time she swiped it the total was right. The lady said "dont worry"... "dont worry"... I AM WORRYING because it took out of my account!! I have to now what until the transaction clears and it puts back into my account! This is why we pay attention people.. so tired of people taking my money and not worried about putting it back! If it was your money you would want the same thing. I am glad we had that in our account. What a shame!

My family has eaten at mandarin since its opening, the food is ok most of the time. My one star rating is not for the food, but the rather shady dealings concerning the carryout buffet pricing. We were informed at tonights visit for carryout that the price for sushi is different than the posted price for the carryout buffet, we were told it has always been charged by the piece until she decided it was just a differant price per pound, this was told to us by the regular cashier that has taken our many times. This policy is not posted, and has never occurred in the past. If a change in price occurs thats fine. Put it on your menue/specials list so that customers are aware of the change. Dont arbitrarily decide that you want more money because a Customer only wants sushi. Which has always been included as part of the buffet whether dining in or taking out.

Been eating here for a good couple years, the food was alright if your in the mood for super rich, greasy Chinese food. But the bathrooms are disgusting. You cant even flush the toilet paper. Not to mention the questionable food handling. Sushi and other foods left out all day with no refrigeration. Cleanliness is practically non-existent. And a few photos circulating of the prepared meat left outside behind the restaurant, hanging from a wooden pole. And on top of that very few of the employees speak fluent english, that shouldnt be a problem but if your waiter cant take your drink order than its a problem.

I have been eating here pretty regularly for the last couple of years. I typically go there for lunch after exercising. They have a huge selection of sushi which I was never a fan of before. But, theyve got a good selection and it tastes great. They also have the typical Chinese Fare. Food is very good service is excellent and the price is only 10 bucks for lunch. I probably eat $20 worth of sushi every time I go there!

First time coming here and all the food looks like its been out all morning and is luke warm. The sushi ok but the sauces look left over from the day before. The bathroom is disgusting!!! Rediculous that women work here and cant even clean the bathroom. The people that say theyve been coming her for years and that its good is because there are no buffets is Warrenton. Waste of money and food.

This place is really expensive and only has ok food, but I go here a lot. Literally the only reason I go here though is because I LOVE their honey chicken, and I cant find any other Chinese restaurant that serves it. Its frustrating because a lot of their food tastes old and isnt really fresh, but I love their honey chicken too much to give it up.

The selection and overall quality of the food is good and the staff members are responsive to your needs. They will accommodate special situations and adjust cost fairly. I am impressed with the attentiveness of the personnel and the changing of the featured trays of the day to guarantee freshness.

Been here three times for dinner some foods are dry and hard from sitting to long. I have a 5 year old it has been 4 bucks for him to eat and last night it was 8 almost 9 for him to eat there. The price is not worth the food. I gave it three tries dry foods each time.

Service and atmosphere great. Very clean. Tonight though, very dried out salmon, under cooked bacon wrapped shrimp, Peking chicken was old, fresh broccoli and chicken had cold chicken. This is not the norm for this place. Normally the food is very good.

For years I have loved coming here. They dont always have it, but my favorite dish is the white walnut shrimp!!! Yummy yummy! Would definitely suggest trying it around lunch time or after they change to dinner so the food is fresh!

Can be a gamble eating there. Food tastes awsome but i got poisoned 3 times so far there not deadly but 24h dhiarea with severe stomac pain. However i will go back again like i said it tastes awsome few germs cant stop me

Comfortable atmosphere. Servers friendly but non commital. Most hot food standard but tasty. Love the fresh salad and fruit bar. Sushi freshly made. Variety of ice cream. We eat here at least once a month.

Compared to other buffets I think Mandarins Buffet has a great selection of food and each has its own individual taste unlike others, where the food has that sort of same flavor. I would recommend it.

The food and sushi rolls taste good. But is cost effective and a nice setting for the family. I also like the piano and flute music playing in the background. It is a nice place to go in Warrenton.

So disappointed, we used to eat here all the time. The food wasnt that good, the floor seems sticky and someone slipped on the grease. Will not return. So sad, it used to be a great place.
