This place used to be a great place. Since the opening, I went there almost every week, mostly lunch and occasionally dinner. But as time goes, things got cheap. I visited there about an year ago, but my experience was terrible. Then, I stopped going there, But since they could get better, I decided to give another try few weeks ago. Well, actually, they got worse. About an year ago, they at least still have senior early bird special, and seniors could get somewhat better price between 1:30~3pm, so I and my mother could get lunch for $20. Then on my last visit, that was removed, so we had to pay $24 for the same lunch. But that wasnt the end. Since I used to go there around 2pm, I was there around the same time, but they didnt fill the trays being about the end of lunch. Sushi plates were almost all empty even at 2pm and wasnt filled at all until I finished. Sushi quality wasnt good at all. Leftover pieces were all rolls with imitation crab meats, and none used real fish. They were mostly dried up as well. Desserts were also just few leftover cake pieces. They did fill up some cheap fried foods, though, but that didnt make things any better. My experience felt like I paid a big bucks for leftover foods. For about the same LUNCH price here, you can have DINNER at the buffet on Liberty Rd, and their food quality is far better, even at cheaper lunch. For service, waitresses were good, but the guy who looks like a manager was very rude. Funny thing is, right after my last visit, I started to see some coupons for this place. This place only had coupons when they first opened few years ago, then I havent seen any coupon. So, I think they are losing customers. If you dont know any other buffet, and likes fried foods, this place isnt THAT bad, but unfortunately, I know a lot of other buffets that are cheaper and better than this place. Too bad one of my favorite buffets is going downhill. Years ago, I could give 4~5 stars, but now, I cannot give any more than 1 star. In my standard, 1 star means I will NEVER go there again.

LIVE WORMS FOUND IN THE SHELLFISH EASTER SUNDAY I planned to eat oysters as my protein for the evening. I got a dozen of oysters and ate 10 without thought. I ask the lady what she found and she pointed out a live worm on her plate. I saw a pink worm 1.5 inches long and the width of about 5 or 6 strands of hair. I was horrified, I went to the white guy and the old heavy asian man to express my concern and requested a refund. The white guy ask me to get my receipt back for a refund. When I returned with my receipt, I was told I would only be offered 10 percent off of my meal!#$% Let us recap...Asian couple get full refund for worm and American of African descent is offered 10 off 20 dollar meal....The white guy is a front face for money greedy asian owners of this restaurant. People, this establishment sell seafood with worms and parasites. Considered the risk before you eat there...I will keep you posted from my health monitoring of the next 48 hours...I am never eating there again...EVER!

They have the worst customer service. The asian manager Paul was very rude and unprofessional and should be fired for lack of managerial skills, including customer service. He is a disgrace to the owners of Hibachi Grill. His obnoxious and racist behavior made my family and I leave the restaurant. When he heard my niece say that she will let her 6 year old brother taste her soda, he automatically added $4 more to bill charging my nephew a second soda drink. I asked him to take it off because I encourage drinking water, but he refused. He threatened to have someone stand by our table and watch us eat to ensure that my niece and nephew would not share a drink. Consequently to this mistreatment, I would not recommend my family and friends to dine at Hibachi Grill at Security Square Mall. Spoiled the mood, peace, and joy of my family. Unfortunately, Hibachi Grill just lost $80 on account of this rude and unprofessional manager.

I attended a Anniversary Brunch on 12/7/13. The service was repulsive. They would not allow me to sit at a table of my choice next to already filled seating party attendees, who were already eating. The manager told me I had to sit in a booth of a family of three. Several of the attendees respectfully addressed management to no avail. I asked for a refund, never had a chance to eat. I was refunded then a waitress stood by me to watch to see if I was going to par take of anyone elses food. The waitresses laughed as I departed. I posted this same grievance on facebook and instagram. I also have submitted it two local newspapers. Opinions of the food is average. You get what you pay for. As for me if I dont get the respected service I deserve I wont support the business under any circumstance.

price too high. terrible customer service. they charge too much money on customers. never going there again! Terrible food! not recommended! even though it is not a major holiday, they do a holiday price! they charge full price for ages 0-3. they are not trying to provide customer service. they are just trying to get money! food is not fully cooked. bad for the family! After about 3 years, they started charging full prices for holidays too! sometimes, they raise the prices. do not go to yhis buffet! when it is not a major holiday, they charge a holiday fee. the owner, she only cares about money. the waitresses are very disrespectful. the sushi bar has terrible sushi and whenever you want to take a lot of sushi, the chefs stare at you. HIGHLY NOT RRCOMMENDED!

Do not eat here. The service was beyond terrible. The food was ok not great and way overpriced. The mash potatoes were flavorless, the salmon was dry and the cornbread was hard. I can cook better at home. The cashier had no personality. The hostess was very sweet though. The waitresses were rude and upset that we left a small tip. They complained about it right in front of us. Im sorry, its a buffet. Dont expect an Olive Garden tip when we served ourselves. If you want a nice tip, be a nice waitress. She didnt smile, chat with us or do anything special. Worst experience at a restaurant ever! I would never recommend this place.

I had a realy bitter experience here on mothers day with my family due to lack of communications among the servers. We were told to move to one sit by one, but to my surprise h four others came from no where screaming us because we sat there evethough we expalined to them. When the lady that gave us the sit came by, they switch to chinese.They did not even apologise and we were so embarassed by the scene they created that we had to leave. Am never going back to this place again. Very poor customer service

This is the worst buffet ever. Started off by reading great reviews saying its $24 and really good. They are lies. The food was either undercooked or very flavorless. The ice cream was the only good thing about the dinner. They dont even have a website or a phone number which is a bad thing too. For $24 I expected at least decent food. Wish I could rate 0 stars. Save your money and go to any other place and I guarantee it will be better. Dont listen to the other reviews.
