I was absolutely appalled with the way our elders were treated!!! We brought a group of 8 elders on an outing for lunch. They wouldnt even seat the elders until they paid first. The ones that had to stand, leaning over their walkers because the bench was full of the other elders and there wasnt enough room for them all, but again they werent allowed to sit at a table until everyone had paid. I personally wasnt going to eat but was told I couldnt go in and assist the elders unless I paid to eat. By the time we were finally seated 5 of the 8 elders were too exhausted to be able to look at what was offered to eat and settled for what they could think of for my assistant and myself to make plates for them. Then to top it all off 2 of the elders had said they didnt want a soda when we were forced to pay first but then changed their minds when they heard the others placing their drink orders, but instead of getting them what they wanted and then letting me know afterwards so the drinks could get paid for, they were told no. I found this out after making the plates for the elders and then had to go pay for more drinks before they would be served. I tried to speak to them about why we were forced to pay before being seated while everyone else coming in payed after they were done eating and was told because we were a party larger than 8. I then asked if we came back there of they could make an exception for the elders and at least let them sit down at the table while they were paying and was told no they couldnt. I have spent the last 23 years working with the elderly, taking them to many different places, businesses, and restaurants and have never, ever had them treated so badly. The owners should be ashamed of themselves and their staff, I know I am. Needless to say I will never subject any elder under my care to this place and their disregard for the elderly again.

As chinese buffets go this is one of the two best in the virginia beach area. They have a great diversity of food choices, including standard buffet choices as well as custom soups, sushi and an above average seafood selection. The sushi is excellent for a Chinese buffet. Its fair compared to a real sushi restaurant but its a buffet, you should go in with that expectation. Their seaweed salad is excellent and is of sushi restaurant quality. Bathrooms are good, the place is clean. The staff is always nice. They keep food fresh even as the night comes to a close. They have crab legs on the weekend at a slightly higher price. They fill them often but they go very fast. I have yet to be disappointed here and tend to go around once a month. They also offer to go boxes as at a good price. They do get busy and there is often a line as the dinner rush hits .

Great food and great variety at a good price. Theyre the only buffet Ive found that serves tripe at all, and it is delicious! Theyve got a really good spread of food and I can almost always get something different every time I come. The sushi bar and hibachi are good for a buffet that doesnt focus on it. They tend to keep things stocked and fresh. What I really love are their soups. The seafood curry soup and Vietnamese beef noodle soup are very tasty, and you get a very generous portion when you order. The only problem is that often the long line at the hibachi grill means theres a long wait for hibachi or soup items. Not their fault, but it can be disappointing sometimes. They also have coupons often which is a nice bonus. All in all, a great deal for some really good food. One of my favorite places to go out and eat when I do.

Crazy Buffet & Grill is located in the Parkview Shops Shopping Center on the corner of Military Hwy and Greenbrier Pkwy. Its located inside what used to be a Food Lion and is your a basic chinese buffet thats been super sized. There a lot of food here, however IMOP theres so much that they dont have any wow items, so the food here is ok. If however youre looking for the most bang for your buck, then this is your buffet. At CBG you have plenty of options, and if you dont like something, put your plate to the side and go fill up another one. Ive been here at least 3 times now and no matter how full they are weve always been able to get a seat, have lunch, and return to work within an hour. Its perfect for a group as well. Will I be back, sure, but only if everyone wants to go for here for lunch.

Initially we had heard some bad reviews about this place and i remember specifically the last time i was in there they were serving their crab legs on ice...GROSS. Good news is it appears they have come to their senses and now they are served steaming hot...YES...unfortunately for them they have people camping out in lines waiting for the damn crabs to come out. Every sweat pant wearing stretchy pant wearing moo moo wearing fatty this side of the water just standing there. That must mean the food is good so thats a PLUS. All I can saytis that they have a great sushi selection and their hibachi is pretty good. Selection is amazing and although they were super busy when we went the wait staff was pretty attentive and took care of us well. I recommend

To review any buffet you have to put things in perspective. Food will be in larger quantities and may sit out for a while depending on demand. Sometimes food isnt hot that should be. The white rice seems to dry up so you have to pick from the bottom of the plastic container. They should really put out a rice cooker like other places, which keeps the rice fresh for the whole day. The last couple visits, there has been no kimchi, which is one of the items I enjoyed there. Nights that they have crab legs, better get in line because they only bring out enough for a few people and it goes fast. But for $7.49 for the lunch buffet, you cant really complain but so much. You can barely get a combo at Wendys for that money any more.

DO NOT GO HERE 1-2 HOURS BEFORE CLOSING! Ive come here several times and its usually hit or miss. But tonight was absolutely worst experience ever. If its an hour before closing, then apparently that means you do not get the full buffet experience. There is limited sushi available, the steamed buns are picked over and usually nonexistent (I specifically come here for crystal steamed bun), and nobody was at noodle and hibachi bar. I literally had to call to have someone come to hibachi grill after standing there for a while. Turns out the staff were in the corner eating. Tbh Ill probably come back because its quick and easy but never before closing

Went here with a co worker and we were waited on immediately. They took us to a nice table and from there it was go time. The food is great, Im a sushi eater and the sushi was delicious! (and Im a very picky sushi eater) I loved the variety...you get all types of options from steak and cheese sandwiches to your traditional Chinese take out and theres a HUGE Hibachi selection. The waitress made sure our table was clean at all times and refilled our beverages when the cup was half full.Very clean environment and a busy establishment. Went during lunch hour and it was pretty full but not overwhelming. Overall a good experience! Enjoy!!!
