Opened with a free salad in very tasty ginger dressing, spring rolls were also pretty good. Entrees were where things got a little less good; my family enjoyed their vegetarian dishes, but the beef in my red curry was exceptionally tough and dry, and the green pepper showed signs or either decay or scorching. Good flavor and a very reasonable level of spiciness, though. Pretty good value for money, especially compared to eg Bangkok Garden in the next shopping center over. Good decor, though table and possibly door handle were slightly sticky. I did encounter some difficulty with the mens room, which was not in great repair. I think there may have been black mold growing in the urinal, the urinal handle leaked water from the valve when pulled rather than emitting water into the urinal, and there were no paper towels. Finally, service was somewhat slow (only one server on duty) but very accomodating.

Weve eaten at several of the other Tida Thai locations and Thai restaurants in town, but this place is our favorite. Not to mention, Tida Thai is far less expensive and provides larger, more flavorful portions than the others. The owner doesnt just care about the taste of the food and the dining experience, he has come out to the table and shared with us that he doesnt use any MSG, etc, in the food, because he cares about his customers health and the quality of the ingredients too. That means a lot to me. A small salad always comes with the meal (lunch or dinner) and their ginger salad dressing is the best Ive ever eaten. They even let us buy the ginger dressing by the pint, so we can use it at home. Check out this local gem!

They have a variety of incredibly delicious vegetarian/vegan options. The food is always on point and I have had no complaints ever in regards to the service nor food. It is easily my favorite local restaurant for lunch. I recommend the red and green vegetarian curry dishes. I try to go here at least once a week. The summer rolls and dipping sauce is a nice starter as well.

From the outside it looks like one of those cheap run down Asian places but once inside, wow! Its quite big, nice decorations, clean and even has a small but nicely organized bar. The food was good (not greasy or diluted) but of course homemade is much better. Staff is very nice. Would definitely go to relax and grab a drink after a long day

Waitress is polite and the food is SO good!!! I took a star off because it needs a good cleaning. Like door handles, bathroom floor, trash cans.. I mean it is a hole in the wall spot so its kind of expected, but a good thorough cleaning would def bump my rating up to 5 Stars. Id come back and Id recommend to friends and family.

This place USED to be good. Its under new management, the portions are half the size and double the price!!!! I paid $18 for one thing of pad Thai and a tea, they dont even give you a side salad anymore...not to mention an hour later I got sick!!! Positive this place gave me food poisoning.

Met several friends here for dinner. We had the sesame chicken, mango curry, and spring rolls. Everything was excellent and well made. Best Thai food I have ever eaten. If your in the Virginia beach area, its a must stop. Definitely will be reordering the mango curry!

I am normally not much of a Thai person, but the food here is fantastic! Their duck is especially good. If you really want a treat, have the homemade cocunut ice cream. Definately one of my favorite lunch time spots. Fast, excellent food reasonably priced.

All of the dishes my family ate were fantastic! We had Pad Thai, Curry, and Wonton Soup. We were pleasantly surprised that with purchase of an entree you receive a pre-dinner small salad and small veggie egg roll. We highly recommend Tida Thai!

Pad Thai and Fried Rice is amazing! Been going here for about 2 years and its always great. I dont think they get the service they deserve at this restaurant. Its amazing, but the seats are usually empty in the afternoon.

Two of us ordered two appetizer and THREE entries and left restaurant HUNGRY. But the price wasnt cheap though, the bill was 60 dollars. No wounded why we were the only customer there at 6:30pm on MOTHERS Day!!!
